WASHINGTON DC - Jose Antonio Vargas, an illegal immigrant and former reporter, scolded a congressional panel on Wednesday, saying that he should not be called illegal, and saying it is an insult to his family who brought him here.
“When you inaccurately call me illegal, you not only dehumanize me, you’re offending them,” he said. “No human being is illegal.”
Mr. Vargas testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee alongside Chris Crane — a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent and president of the ICE agents’ union — who is unable to arrest him under the administration’s new non-deportation policies.
Mr. Vargas, who “came out” as an illegal immigrant several years ago, delivered an emotional plea for the country to legalize him. (more)

Just the fact that this crap is going on is a slap in the face to all the people who are here immigrating the legal way, paying fees and going thru the proper process. When is anyone gonna give a crap about those people? Cart these illegals up and ship them back to their countries of origin. Also, do away with the wet foot, dry foot nonsense law that let’s Cubans come over by the thousands and wreck South Florida.
It’s always been a pretty simple problem to solve if they would just do it. If you’re here illegally then you don’t get an education, medical care, or free stuff. That’s the first step that has always boggled my mind, when my kids started school I had to produce a birth certificate, ss #, shot records and current address, so why should my kids who were born here have to provide all of this yet kids brought here illegally can get into school without it?
Second step is not only fine those who hire or rent to illegals but give them jail time.
Final step which would make the others moot if they just did it, send them back across the border.

Meanwhile, high school students are being suspended for wearing red, white, and blue while chanting “USA! USA!” at a basketball game, because such actions might have racial undertones. (Reminds me of the students who were suspended for wearing Old Glory on Cinco de Mayo a few years ago.)

About all that’s left are extended family members and I try to have as little to do with them as possible. They’re always wanting me to give them something. This is how bad one of them are, during the summer they started calling asking me if I had any fresh veggies out of the garden or any fresh eggs. I felt kind of like a heel as they have a young child so I told them if they came and got them I’d give them some veggies and eggs and would even give the little girl a few hens of her own. Then they said, oh we don’t have the gas money can you bring it to us and some feed for the hens. I told them look I don’t have the spare time to drive the 2 hours there and back and if I did would you like me to fry the eggs and cook the veggies for you when I get there?
Of course then they called everyone telling them I was selfish and wouldn’t share with them and then tried to claim I was a Christian.
I can be quite revengeful and called them and told them I was really sorry and wanted to do my Christian duty and I was coming down that weekend and bringing them some seeds, some canning jars, some freezer bags and some baby chicks so they could grow their own garden and put up their own food and raise the chicks up for eggs and be able to feed themselves for longer than a day. Needless to say they didn’t want my offering.
I am making it well known that any libs outside of my immediate family will not be helped if SHTF. Don’t ask and I Don’t have to tell you NO again. There are no libs in my nukular family, although my step-mother is close. She get’s a pass as long as pop is still around. But then, I’ve been called an a**hole on more than one occasion, and I’ve decided that I don’t care anymore.

Haven’t read the thread yet, but I would sure like to hear the explanations from some of the Congress-persons for their justification/excuses for being willing to sit there and listen such lawless tripe…..and taking into account that they invited this illegal alien there, and then sit there taking notes.
I understand that if I enter Mexico illegally or stay there illegally some really serious things happen. Even if I’m not there illegally, Mexican law says this about me:

I don’t agree with the pro-illegal mindset at all. You guys are right… Illegal is illegal, it’s not racism, not an insult, just a hard fact.
You know it makes me angry that “illegal alien” is equated with “Mexican”. It actually refers to anyone who is in the United States illegally, no matter where they are from. But, it confuses the whole issue, which is the reason pro-illegals do it. It makes the immigration discussion almost impossible. And, it actually causes a rift where there really isn’t one. I am staunchly anti-illegal and in no way anti immigration.I jjust want it to be legal.
Not sure if I posted this before, but it has stuck with me for so long that I can’t ever forget it. I had to have a medical test done in Florida. I had no insurance at the time and was given a form to fill out to determine how much I could pay each month. At the end of the form, there was a box to check if I was an illegal alien. My cost to have this test done was $400.00 without insurance as an AMERICAN. If I was an illegal alien, it was free. Why?
Oh, good heavens, my 22 year old son just said it best as I was reading this to my family. “America is the ‘day care of the world’. We allow things that no other country would allow.” Damn, he’s a smart kid!
