If congress want’s FISA (702), then reauthorize it. If they don’t want it, then don’t reauthorize it. The issue matters not to the overall national security dynamic.

I always am reluctant to disagree with SD, but I’d put the CIA false flag a higher probability even tho it’s the FBI who, in theory, benefit from the domestic surveillance. If Spygate/Russiagate taught me one thing it’s that they are one and the same.

I couldn’t believe anyone would suggest Pres Trump should placate any repub after 0 recess appointments, no Save Act and a Senate that is led by an anti-Trump RINO. I hope he told Johnson: NO, Hell NO.

On June 20th there were still slaves in this country!
Juneteenth is when the last of the Confederate slaves were freed by the US Army under President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. Slaves in non-rebelling states weren’t freed by the Emancipation Proclamation.
Some states did not free their slaves until the 13th Amendment went into effect December 6th, 1865.
The last slaves freed in America were slaves held by some Indian Tribes, some time in 1866. We renegotiated treaties to get those slaves freed.
For some reason some Juneteenth celebrants don’t want to credit Lincoln or his Emancipation Proclamation. Nor do they want to talk about the 13th Amendment. They may, grudgingly, credit the Union Army.
BTW, until the Amendment was ratified, the status of these slaves would have been up to the same courts that were forcing slavery onto the free North prior to the war. The land confiscated from slave holders and distributed to slaves was taken away by these judges and given back to the slave owners. How would these same judges have ruled on the status of human property that had been freed against the owners will? The 13th Amendment guaranteed that all freed slaves would stay freed.
