The Trifecta crew at PJ Media discusses a New York Times article written by a professor of anthropology.  This professor, in a nutshell, says Tea Party conservatives are wrong about politics and governance, because they have a phony worldview – a worldview that is refuted by the sciences, and the Scriptures.

Ahhhh, the world of liberal progressives – from the government that give us: Toilets that don’t flush, Cars that don’t start, detergents that don’t clean, water so hard you have to soften it and light bulbs that don’t illuminate, American Thinker has a great article highlighting how seemingly small regulations are piling up and creating big problems.

AMERICAN THINKER – Our dishwasher broke just after Christmas. The timer stopped working, and a new one costs about $100. My wife suggested that since the dishwasher is nineteen years old, we should buy a new one. Up until now it was working very quietly and efficiently, washing and drying a full load in about an hour.
We visited the appliance shop where we had recently purchased a new clothes washing machine a few months earlier. I mentioned to the salesman that our new washer was very slow, taking nearly two hours to finish a large load compared to our old one, which took about 35 minutes. With a bright smile, he explained that that was because of the new federal energy efficiency standards for clothes washers enacted by the Obama administration’s Department of Energy in May 2012. The answer: the conviction of a child molester of politically preferred pigmentation would be overturned to appease the twisted gods of political correctness.

The Idaho Court of Appeals has thrown out a black man’s sex crime convictions, saying the prosecutor interjected race in closing arguments by quoting lyrics from the Confederate anthem ‘Dixie’.
All three judges agreed that Canyon County Deputy Prosecutor Erica Kallin erred in citing a song praising what the judges called ‘pernicious racism’ that might have influenced the jury.

Wow, what a busy 24 hours.   First things first.
•The Keys were in the ignition • the transmission in park • the emergency brake engaged • and the 2005 Kia Rio (black) was forward facing toward the tree.
• The trunk was opened the following day using a tire iron • Despite claims to the contrary there was what appears to be damage not caused by fire toward the right rear of the vehicle.
• An accelerant was used • soil samples were collected • 4″ x 12″ x4 sections of tree removed for testing.
This was not an accident.
♦  Secondly, regarding gangs or no-gangs.  Just because a person belongs to a gang -and that person carries out a crime- does not indicate the crime was a ‘gang crime’.  If a member of the ‘Soccer Ball and Teddy Bear Society’ robs a Citgo gas station, that doesn’t mean the SBTBS robbed the gas station.
