Just U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E !!  (HatTip Gateway Pundit)   In “honor” of his meeting with China Ambassador Cui Tiankai, Washington Governor Jay Inslee has posted the Chinese flag between the American flag and the state flag at the capitol building in Olympia.

Hat Tip State Rep. Elizabeth Scott  On Saturday – A small group of people arrived at the capitol in the morning and removed the Communist flag.

They were assisted by an officer from the Washington State Police.

This stuff is getting beyond absurd.

To give the municipal government a fair shake they are claiming the guy wasn’t arrested for failure to mow his grass; he was technically arrested because he failed to pay the fines levied for not mowing his grass.

…”The statement also made it clear [the municipal courts] would not arrest someone for not mowing their grass”…

They arrest people (issue warrants) for not paying the fines for not mowing their grass. See the difference?

Regardless, this stuff is dangerous and absurd – stop the slippery slope, I want to get off.

An amazing and inspirational story of hope, against all odds… Danielle Josey Davis had been married only seven months when a devastating motorcycle accident left her husband on life support and in a coma.

Doctors recommended letting Matt Davis die because there was a 90 percent chance he would never wake up, but Danielle told ABC News she decided it just wasn’t time yet. Then, one day, he woke up.

“I’m sure glad I married her,” Matt Davis told ABC News today, though he doesn’t remember Danielle from before the 2010 crash that caused his traumatic brain injury.

Danielle was 24 when the accident happened, and had only started dating Matt, then 23, two months before their wedding. (more…)

This is interesting. Against the backdrop of Larry Reid being arrested for being drunk and disorderly -he also hit a cop- an interesting side story comes to the surface about Senator Harry Reid’s previous injuries.

The Daily Mail covers the story of Larry Reid’s arrest. […] Senator Harry Reid’s 73-year-old brother has been arrested and charged with driving drunk and hitting a police officer.

Larry Reid was arrested for DUI about 12:40 p.m. between Boulder City and Searchlight in Nevada.

Mr. Reid was also charged with battery of a police officer, driving across a median, resisting arrest, not wearing a seat belt and possession of a gun while under the influence of alcohol.

A trooper saw Larry Reid’s Lexus SUV in the dirt median with the engine still running, Patrol spokesman Trooper Loy Hixson said.

The Nevada Senator’s office released a statement confirming that Larry Reid is the Democrat’s brother, saying only that it is ‘a private matter.’ (read more)

How do you rebrand a person who is known so well as a self-centered, do anything, say anything, secretive in the extreme, political wind-tester and notorious liar, who has been chauffeured for 3 decades -between her three houses- and has disconnected from anything remotely resembling average sensibilities?

The Obama/Kerry “deal with Iran” is a ruse, a fraud, a total gimmick. There is “no deal”; nor can any administration official point to an outline of a deal that holds the agreed upon parameters of both the coalition and Iran.

It is annoying in the extreme to see media pundits talk about “the deal” as if it actually exists. The only visible points Obama has for a deal was a written release from the White House containing discussion points that Iran has since dismissed as total lies and make believe.

No deal exists; no agreement exists; it’s all theoretical nonsense created for political consumption. With that in mind, Canada says it will not participate in the removal of sanctions: Canadian officials say they will only ease sanctions if Iran demilitarizes its nuclear program, noting Iran’s record isn’t trustworthy.

When President Obama, or more aptly Team President Obama, feel they are losing the media edge they turn toward a familiar strategy. Call in Thomas Friedman, give him an interview, and the New York Times will publish the transcript as a commentary.

In August of 2014 the rise of ISIS visibly beheading Americans was the political embarrassment the White House needed Friedman’s assistance to control.  In April of 2015 it’s the general embarrassment of a non-existent Iran Nuclear deal. A deal in name only.

Within the article President Obama expresses that if Iran were to fulfill its pledge to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth” he’d be unhappy with Iran.

[…] I’m willing to do is to make the kinds of commitments that would give everybody in the neighborhood, including Iran, a clarity that if Israel were to be attacked by any state, that we would stand by them.

Of course, in actuality, when the considerations involve Nuclear weapons, there wouldn’t be a “them” to stand next to any longer – But Thomas Friedman skips right over that little uncomfortable truth. (more…)
