Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †
A profound Lesson In Why Situational Awareness is important, and you should trust your instincts.
You have to actually watch the video to see how ridiculous it seems for the police to claim they are unable to identify the suspects. However, WARNING, the video is very real, very disturbing and as a consequence, very intense. It happened 5 days ago.
OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) – A 21-year-old woman says she was attacked in her Overland Park home and her security system caught it on camera.
In the video captured by O’Connor’s hidden camera, one can see her struggling to breathe in a chokehold.

“As soon as he put his arm around my neck, I was like, ‘oh [expletive], this is really happening. This is really going on,'” she said.
The attack happened about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday near West 106th Street. O’Connor said she told a friend that she was trying to get rid of her ex-boyfriend’s carpentry tools. (more…)
Do you remember “Marlin’s Man” from the 2014 World Series?

First, a review of the “Apology”:
It goes much deeper than just “donations to the Clinton Foundation”. Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer writes in a USA Today Op-Ed:
[…] I agreed to be interviewed, expecting a robust examination of my new book, Clinton Cash, and my reporting on the Clintons’ accumulation of massive personal wealth, cronyism and the lack of transparency surrounding the Clintons’ foundation.
I expected probing questions, similar to the ones I’ve received from Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC, Chris Wallace on Fox News and Frank Sesno on CNN.
What I did not expect — what no one expected — was the sort of “hidden hand journalism” that has contributed to America’s news media’s crisis of credibility in particular, and Americans’ distrust of the news media more broadly. (more…)
When a corrections system focuses entirely on equality of outcome; and when the administrators of the policy are wilfully blind (in that they never addresses the source behavior); and when the non-compliant variables within the system refuse to modify behavior – the only administrative option left is to remove the consequence.
FYI the racial composition of Oakland’s public school system is about 32 percent black, a little under 40 percent Hispanic, about 15 percent Asian and about 12 percent white, according to Oaklandreads.org
(Via Truth Revolt) Board members of California’s Oakland Unified School District unanimously voted on Wednesday to cease suspending students for what they call “willful defiance.” Those behaviors can include swearing/yelling at teachers, refusing direct orders, texting, and storming out of class, to name a few.
The reason?
Concern that too many black students are being suspended for willful defiance.
One sophomore student, Dan’enicole Williams, told the San Francisco Gate, “They never take time out, if someone is sleeping in class, to ask what’s wrong. They may be acting that way because they didn’t eat the night before.” (more…)
By now everyone is familiar with the wonderful and progressive “Race Together” program put out by Starbucks Coffee Shops. The basic idea was to have the Starbucks employees educate their customers on social tolerance, social justice, racism and how to avoid expressing micro-aggression while carrying around latte’s of various privilege.
Phase #1 was Starbucks employees handing out brochures informing coffee patrons of their unknown privileges; and also explaining what to expect, moving forward, from the college aged baristas’ majoring in advanced lesbian dance theory.
Phase #2 appears to be off to a splendid start as seen in this video showing how to communicate tolerance, respect and dignity toward all races. The video focuses on #4: “members of different races on my block or apartment building”, and #9: “we have managers of different races”. Blair Jackson (NeJame Law Partner) represented Matthew Apperson at his bond hearing. $35k bond, no contact order, June 23rd indictment hearing scheduled with Judge Debra Nelson. (Yes, THAT same Debra Nelson…)
LAKE MARY, Fla. — A judge set a $35,000 bond for the man accused of shooting at George Zimmerman Saturday morning.
Matthew Apperson was ordered to turn in any guns to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office within 24 hours od his release and to have no contact with Zimmerman.
“I don’t care whether you’ve been shopping at Publix for two hours and have a full cart of groceries or whatever. you see Mr. Zimmerman walking through that door, you’re the one that has to leave,” the judge said.
Apperson’s attorney wouldn’t comment on the judge’s order. (more…)
(Via AP) The Pentagon says U.S. commandos have mounted a rare raid in eastern Syria, killing the Islamic State commander in charge of oil fields in a firefight and capturing his wife.
Defense Secretary Ash Carter announced the raid Saturday, identifying the militant as Abu Sayyaf. He said no U.S. forces were killed or injured.
Syrian state media earlier reported government forces killed at least 40 IS fighters, including a senior commander in charge of oil fields, in an attack Saturday on the country’s largest oil field — held by IS.
It identified the commander as Abu al-Teem al-Saudi.
The Britain-based Syria Observatory for Human Rights confirmed an oil field attack, saying at least 19 IS members, including 12 foreigners, were killed. The group did not say who carried out the attack. (more…)
