Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is planning to hold a vote on a meaningless bill that holds no substantive policy “The American Safe Act” (All two pages of it) . Meanwhile he has tabled the Resettlement Accountability National Security Act also known as the “Babin Bill” as it was introduced by Rep. Brian Babin. Quoting a GOP House Staffer:
“Putting Ryan in charge of a fight to block refugees would be like putting (Nancy) Pelosi in charge of fight to repeal Obamacare.”

Two independent groups of Syrian males traveling on fake Greek passports trying to gain entry into the U.S. The first group of three was identified/captured in Saint Maarten after a flight from Haiti. The second group of five were identified/captured in Honduras.
Group #2 – Honduran authorities have detained five Syrian nationals who were trying to reach the United States using stolen Greek passports, but there are no signs of any links to last week’s attacks in Paris, police said.

The latest poll (full pdf below) from Florida shows Donald Trump growing his lead from September over home state competitors Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush. Several of the internal metrics are interesting, including Trump being the only candidate to extend a lead over Clinton since Joe Biden is removed. Head-to-Head Trump beats Clinton 49 to 40:
