Candidate Donald Trump has three events scheduled for Friday in South Carolina. Myrtle Beach at noon, Pawley’s Island at 3:00pm, and North Charleston at 7:00pm.
The first event is 12:00pm at The Myrtle Beach Sports Center
CNN advertised their two night candidate Town Hall event series as an informal opportunity for ordinary South Carolinians to ask the republican presidential candidates’ questions.
However, when it came to the frontrunner, Donald Trump’s segment, there was nothing ordinary about at least one of the questioners, and absolutely nothing “random” about the combined intent. [all research citations below]
By all impressions and appearances, CNN intentionally staged a confrontation with Donald Trump – evidenced by Mr. Cooper having an exact quote pre-arranged, and ready for use, at a very specific moment.
Watch as Anderson Cooper calls upon Dr. Oran Smith, President and CEO of the Palmetto Family Council. Incredulously Cooper tries to play off the introduction of the questioner as an ordinary citizen who “had not yet made up his mind“.
Pay attention to the exchange, and pay specific attention to how “at the ready” Cooper was with the quote. They had this set-up as an ambush. Watch:
So what is the motive here? What is the connection between CNN and the ‘non-random’ participant, Dr Oran Smith from the Palmetto Family Council ?
In an effort to keep the Daily Open Thread a little more open topic we are going to start a new daily thread for “2016 Presidential Politics”. Please use this thread to post anything relating to the Presidential Race and/or any of the candidates therein.
This thread will refresh daily and appear above the Open Discussion Thread.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †
Good Grief. Tonight Buzzfeed breaks with a story about Donald Trump supporting the Iraq invasion in 2002. They present an interview Mr. Trump had with radio host Howard Stern on the first anniversary of the 9-11 attack. September 11th 2002.
To frame a 3 second off-the-cuff response: “I guess so, well, uh“, to an off the cuff question, unrelated to the point of New York and the anniversary being discussed, is more than a little silly.
Listen yourself. The “controversial” snippet is around 3:13 – 3:48 (but the entire segment provides context). Click The Orange Arrow To Listen
At 8:00pm Tonight CNN is hosting a three candidate Town Hall with Ohio Governor John Kasich, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, and businessman Donald Trump.
The event is carried live on CNN broadcasting – and available via Live Stream HERE
The latest insufferable corporate media meme is to reshape current events and proclaim Pope Francis was not talking about candidate Donald J Trump today.
In an effort to dismiss Trump’s eloquent response (defense of his position), and in an exhaustive effort to protect the embarrassment of the Marxist papacy the leftist media adore, those media entities are now claiming Donald Trump projected himself into the comments.
Thankfully Reverend Franklin Graham articulates all that is wrong in the day’s events.
[Via Franklin Graham FB] “The Pope has suggested that Donald J. Trump is not Christian because he wants to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico. He said, “A person who thinks only about building walls wherever they may be and not building bridges is not Christian.”
“I agree that as Christians we should try to build bridges with everyone that we possibly can, but that doesn’t mean that we should compromise our national security”.
Unless something rather drastic comes out that needs to be deconstructed or analyzed, this will be the last presentation of a poll in South Carolina. Why? Well, quite simply, all of these latest polls are being too manipulated to be of any real value – Including this one.
The latest Fox News Poll (full pdf below) is data driven by Anderson Robbins Research (Democrat firm) and Shaw & Company Research (Republican firm), and not by Fox Media itself. The sub-contracts have vested financial interests/stakes in the race – hence the under and over samples evident to present an outcome that cannot be assured as objective:
The results, while following a similar path to prior polls, are too fraught with assumptions and specific weighted demos, leading to high margins of error for certain demographics.
Here’s the snapshot showing the demos, including some of the higher MOE categories as noted.(more…)
