Janet Mock was born with a penis and testes but demands any historical reference to her personage must never be referenced as “a boy” or “male”.   Her primary claim is that she has been a woman since birth and she just corrected the anatomical error, via organ removal/reassignment, at a later date.    She wrote a book.   Apparently, as Piers Morgan was rue to find out, you can never say a transgendered person’s gender was their former anatomical definition.

*Note to self* —>  According to the community, which constructs the rule book we are now demanded to follow, “Sex” is what your birth anatomy assigns you to be.   “Gender” is actually what your real sexual identity is.   If you conflate the terminology you have mortally wounded a transgendered person.   *w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r* 

(Via Mediaite) Last night, Piers Morgan spoke to transgender advocate Janet Mock and some of the words he used and chyrons the show used ended up earning Morgan quite the social media blowback, and Morgan took some serious umbrage at all the people tweeting at him about the segment. He brought on Mock tonight to confront her about the “hostile tweets” she and others sent his way.

Morgan repeatedly bemoaned how much he’s been attacked, saying he “spent an infuriating 24 hours,” he was “viciously abused,” cried “I’m being vilified!”, and asked why someone like him, who openly supports LGBT rights and equality, has gotten such “a load of abuse.” (more…)

As a consequence, @ $15/hr, that’s a $1.5 billion removal of positive production value from the economy and replaced with $1.5 billion dependency entitlement under the guise of a subsidy.  EVERY WEEK.

In very direct essence – This shifts $1.5 billion in additional taxation to the remaining productive class every week.   Or $78,000,000,000.00 ($78 Billion) per year. 

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama’s healthcare law will reduce American workforce participation by the equivalent of 2 million full-time jobs in 2017, the Congressional Budget Office said on Tuesday in a report that could fuel Republican efforts to paint the law as a job killer.

In its latest U.S. fiscal outlook, the nonpartisan CBO said the health law would prompt some lower-income workers to limit their hours to avoid losing federal subsidies that are available under the law to help pay for health insurance.

The CBO said the biggest impact on work hours from the health law would begin in 2017 because major provisions of the law will be well under way by then. The CBO said there would be smaller declines in work hours that would occur before then.

Work hours would be reduced by the equivalent of 2.5 million jobs in 2024, the agency said. (more…)

First Lady Michelle Obama took a jab at rural Americans during a speech she delivered to Democrats at the posh Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, according to a White House transcript of her remarks.

Her comments came as she was imploring the high-dollars donors to dig deep and “max out” their checking accounts.

“Leave San Francisco,” she told the laughing audience. “Leave this bastion. Go out in the wilderness. And roll up your sleeves because we know that those person-to-person contacts, those calls and doors knocked on, all of that can also mean the difference between victory and defeat.”  (link)

SPLODEY HEAD DEFCON Level 4 –  Progressives rush to hide this in the liberal “Keep This From The Media” file.

(Volokh Conspiracy Blog – Via Washington Post)  There was a small furor yesterday over an MSNBC staffer’s intolerant views of conservatives and the political right. Erik Wemple at the Post published MSNBC’s apology, which announces that a staffer was fired. You can also follow the dispute at New York Magazine, Reason, Michele Malkin, Instapundit, and Gateway Pundit (which captured the fullest screenshot of the now-scrubbed tweet).

My interest today is not in what happened or in the responses of MSNBC and the people it insulted, but rather in the substance of the claim: that people on the right side of the political spectrum would be opposed to mixed-race families including an adopted child.  This follows a somewhat similar MSNBC kerfuffle over jokes implying that an African-American grandchild was somehow out of place in a Romney family photo.

I thought perhaps a little academic light might clear up some of the press’s ignorance about adopted and step-families in America (the Romney case). (more…)

Initially the politically correct and fearful authorities did not want to admit this was a crime of specific intent.   However, once they were going to release the bus video they needed to back-track and admit the actual motive.    If they did not admit the obvious their PC-ism would have been widely recognized by the public.

FLINT, MI – Police say a Mass Transportation Authority bus driver was punched in the face as part of the so-called “knockout game” that’s gained national attention.

The “knockout game” has been blamed for attacks in several cities and involves suspects punching strangers for no reason.

The Flint bus incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, when a man was attacked while driving the bus.

The driver suffered several facial injuries, according to police. Another teen filmed the incident as it took place.

Police originally said the incident occurred because one of the suspects was upset about having to pay a bus fare, but further investigation showed it was a planned attack, said Flint police Capt. Collin Birnie.

“This was planned, orchestrated and filmed,” he said. (more…)

NEW YORK –  […]  “I hit a lady on the head in self-defense,” Baldwin wrote in a statement to police when asked about the Nov. 7 attack, according to court papers.

The women he attacked were between the ages of 20 and 78, cops have said.

Baldwin made similar written statements about self-defense when investigators asked about his attacks on Dec. 7, Dec. 24, and Dec. 26.

“I was passing by a lady using a phone and I hit her head in self-defense because of the way she looked,” Baldwin wrote of the Dec. 27 attack. (more…)

When the politically correct media quickly drop this story we miss an opportunity to discuss one of the inconvenient truths.  Because the shooter is black there will be no public airing of ‘the motive’ for the shooting.

If the shooter had presented as a white male the media would be urgently seeking attachment to right-wing extremism and/or the Tea Party.

The historical evidence to support this controversial assertion was polished to crystal clear resonance in the Colorado Movie Theater shooting and subsequent *media-thirst* to attach white intent.   The same media ideology toward white motive was present in the 2010 Gabby Giffords shooting.

But this time the search for motive would involve a black male teenager who appears to have been reacting to spurned romantic advances.   Reacting in a very uncomfortable way to discuss in the media.  Reacting in a way the media desperately avoids talking about.

The first victim shot was a white female, Brianna Benlolo – age 21 and mother of a 2 year-old son, who has been reported to have broken off a relationship with the shooter, Darion Aguilar – age 19. (more…)

President Obama has been in office since January of 2009.  It’s now January of 2014 and Dear Leader’s cohorts are still blaming George Bush….  

Honest question:   In the immediate months after 9/11/2001 the U.S. economy contracted and tanked steeper and faster than any single 3-6 month period in the history of economic measures.   George Bush responded IMEDIATELY and forcefully with tax credits, tax refunds (checks mailed within 30 days) and a nationally delivered speech, the infamous “buy stuff” speech.    It worked.    If the same thing happened during this administration do you think they would be able to handle ?  

I strongly doubt it….. they don’t have solutions – their expertise is limited to talking about problems, they have ZERO solutions. 

(Via WFB) – White House adviser Dan Pfeiffer returned to a familiar Democratic talking point on Fox News Sunday, blaming the financial crisis “this president inherited” for the laundry list of Obama economic woes pointed out by host Chris Wallace.

After showing a graphic revealing median household income had decreased, poverty rate was up and the labor force participation rate was at a 36-year low during the Obama presidency, Pfeiffer implicitly blamed the Bush administration. (more…)
