Yesterday the media were swarming Chad Henderson.  He was interviewed by The Washington Post, Huffington Post, Politico, NBC, MSNBC and The Wall Street Journal.  President Obama’s OFA was tweeting about him, and even The U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services interviewed him and was considering using him for “Obamacare” like Sandra Fluke for “free birth control”.

That was Wednesday and yesterday.

Today:   After speaking directly with Chad Henderson, The Washington Post has confirmed that he has not in fact enrolled in a health-care plan.
The coverage of Chad Henderson has been massive. He was featured in The Washington Post Thursday as “the Obamacare enrollee that tons of reporters are calling.” He was also profiled in The Huffington Post as someone who “beat the glitches to sign up for Obamacare.” He was interviewed by Politico, multiple local news organizations, and, according to his Facebook feed, was asked to be part of a conference call hosted by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Chad’s story was tweeted out by the official Obamacare Twitter feed. It was promoted to the media by Enroll America, a health-care activist group headed by a former White House communications staffer, as a sign of Obamacare’s success. Henderson told reporters at multiple news outlets that after a three-hour wait to sign up online, he enrolled around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning in an unsubsidized private insurance plan that would cost him about $175 a month. He also said that his father enrolled in separate coverage plan that would cost about $250 a month after factoring in the subsidies for which his father qualified on his approximately $24,000 annual income. And so we enter Day #4 of the federal shutdown with the media still gnashing it’s horrible teeth determined to frame the horrid Republican Anarchists, Terrorists, jihadists.   But the electorate continue to defy the media demands.

CBS Polling shows when the government shut down back in November 1995, 51 percent of Americans blamed the Republicans in Congress, while 28 blamed President Bill Clinton.
And what are those numbers today? 44% blame GOP, 35% blame Obama, and 17% blame both.  Imagine what the polling would be if the media reporting was neutral.
But the media was able to find an OFA organizer who signed up for Obamacare.  Only there was one little issue they didn’t share.  His premium TRIPLED. (more…)

Patriots are Still Dancing

Day #2 picked up right were Day #1 left off.    If you choose to operate a form of governance without the consent of the governed you need a complicit media.
President Obama has just that; but the average American is seeing through the ruse.
As the Media Research Center reveals – The nation’s big three news networks are falling right into place for President Obama and the Democrats, blaming the Republican Party for the government shut down by a whopping 21-0 story count.
That’s 21 national stories outlining how it’s the fault of the Republicans, and ZERO stories reflecting the shutdown is any fault of the President or Democrats.   Yet you will still find people who claim there is no media bias.   Whatever. (more…)

Yesterday we shared how POTUS was angry, and gave examples of his “stompy feet” mentality.   However, it’s gotten worse…. much worse.

President Obama gave an interview to CNBC (financial news) you must watch this video and recognize what he’s doing here.   He is intentionally talking down the stock market and the financial sector:

By now everyone is familiar with the incident in New York where a family driving a Range Rover was surrounded by a pack of motorcyclists. Then terrorized. We’ve now watched 72 hours of media reporting on this *incident*, and have had the opportunity to see the bikers, their attorneys, their families and their friends talking on television about it.

Has anyone else noticed there is a stark undiscussed racial component to this story?

Patriotic New Media, and Water-Carrying legacy media  are focused on exposing the wrong aspect of this video.

Senator Reid was asked about why not fund the NIH (National Institute of Health) a partial funding bill sent by the House of Representatives.
Immediately, and correctly, the righteous patriots reacted to the dismissive nature of Harry Reid when responding about children with cancer.   Many saw it as a gotcha moment – but most have missed the “key phrase” he used in this example.
A far more dangerous phrase, and a phrase which outlines the ideological disconnect of Democrats in a larger sense.
Listen closely as Harry Reid explains the Democrat position.  Listen to exactly what he says at the :50 second mark in this video excerpt:

…”what right do they have to pick and choose what part of government is going to be funded”….

Comment Via Michellc – I’ve been witnessing my neighbors and fellow citizens having their worlds turned upside down due to Obama regulations and policies; and I haven’t heard much sympathy coming from him or Washington, but now federal employees are losing a few weeks pay and the violins come pouring out.

Ya know, I don’t think there is a more apropos reflection of this President is tarnishing the office he holds.

The city’s obesity rate among adults has skyrocketed 25 percent since Mayor Bloomberg took office in 2002, city Health Department figures show.
That year, nearly one in five New Yorkers was considered obese. Now almost one in four is.
