RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) — Senate majority leader Harry Reid hasn’t been very vocal about the cattle battle showdown in recent days, but says “it’s not over.”
Reid tells News4′s Samantha Boatman his take on the so-called cattle battle in southern Las Vegas. “Well, it’s not over. We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over,” Reid said.

Senator Reid had just wrapped up a speech and question and answer session with students at UNR. (link)

Attorney General Eric Holder said he was careful not to allude to a racial component when criticizing Congress’s treatment of him last week.
Eric Holder thinks people who accept his statement with the intent and context are stupid, or gullible, or both. He is now claiming his race speech to Sharpton’s audience, was not about race. The intellectual dishonesty is mind boggling.
WASHINGTON DC – “I didn’t say there was a racial component. I was very careful not to say that,” Holder told The Huffington Post on Monday.
Last week, Holder told a civil rights group he and President Obama’s administration have been subject to “unprecedented” and “ugly” attacks. He asked what attorney general or president in history had to deal with the same.
Instead of race, Holder said he was alluding to the “breakdown in civility” and the ability to cultivate relationships in Washington. (more…)
Politico has an interesting summary of the Israeli / Palestinian talk collapse filling in some timelines to the analysis we previously presented. Even if you are not a global political news junkie it’s worth the read.

While the Politico story doesn’t directly outline the ego of John Kerry as the impetus for the framework, and subsequent collapse, it’s still there and you can catch glimpses of it throughout the article.
Even among senior Obama aides, there’s disagreement about how wary the president actually was all along about taking another shot at the peace process, how much distance he was really trying to keep, and how much of his actions were about humoring an ambitious Kerry’s swing at the history books.
As we previously shared the entire construct of the Kerry spearheaded peace talks originated from Secretary Kerry’s desire to be something legendary, and do something on a grand scale worthy of his own opinion of himself.
John Kerry was not so much interested in the construct of Israeli security, or foundationally finding a substantive ‘two state’ solution; for Kerry -the ideologue- he wanted to carve the mold, and then watch the global media cast the brass bust.

In a rather direct conversation former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson talks about her decision to leave CBS News.
Some of the interesting aspects she discusses are how CBS was uninterested in airing numerous reports on scandals that surround the Obama administration and White House. She also talks about how the White House would call CBS to pressure the network to stop airing information, and how even her print reporting would find White House officials calling to express their concerns.
As unbelievable as this appears, this is a genuine Democrat Congressional Candidate.
CALIFORNIA – The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department admitted that they mistakenly shot and killed a Good Samaritan who was trying to help his West Hollywood neighbor being held hostage at knifepoint earlier this week.
John Winkler, 30, a production assistant on Tosh.0, was killed on Monday, April 7 when deputies responded to a call of a suspect with a knife in a West Hollywood apartment complex around 9:29 p.m., according to a release from the sheriff’s department. The L.A. Times reported that Winkler was trying to help his neighbor who was being held hostage.
When deputies arrived, a man “bleeding profusely from the neck” rushed out of the apartment with Winkler trailing behind him. Deputies were told the suspect was a white man wearing a black shirt.
Winkler fit the description.
Three deputies fired their guns, hitting both Winkler and the stabbing victim.

You do know that both Democrat and Establishment Republicans are going to force you to accept amnesty – right ? On the Moonbat side of the aisle it’s all about pajamas and fee-fee’s. On the Decepticon side of the aisle it’s all about the U.S. Chamber of Commerce demands.

Regardless of the majority view of Americans on the issue, representatives from both parties are going to force Comprehensive Immigration Reform into this pre-election cycle construct.
Unless and until you accept your compliance is not an option, you will continue to be surrounded by stories of torn families, desperate hunger strikes, and dire warnings about the earth’s dying baby panda population. Just because your selfish self is destroying universal fun life and you don’t care about the innocent victims.

(Via Dana Loesch) […] Those who say Bundy is a “deadbeat” are making inaccurate claims. Bundy has in fact paid fees to Clark County, Nevada in an arrangement pre-dating the BLM.
The BLM arrived much later, changed the details of the setup without consulting with Bundy — or any other rancher — and then began systematically driving out cattle and ranchers.
Bundy refused to pay BLM, especially after they demanded he reduce his herd’s head count down to a level that would not sustain his ranch. Bundy OWNS the water and forage rights to this land. He paid for these rights. He built fences, established water ways, and constructed roads with his own money, with the approval of Nevada and BLM.
When BLM started using his fees to run him off the land and harassing him, he ceased paying. So should BLM reimburse him for managing the land and for the confiscation of his water and forage rights? (more…)
(Via Jim Hoft @GWP) A Fitting End to a Disastrous Reign – Today outside the White House Kathleen Sebelius bid farewell to the president, officials and guests after resigning as head of Health and Human Services. And, as she bid farewell, she looked down at her notes and told the audience,
