The hilarious agenda of Fox News and their GOPe objectives was evident again this evening when Harris Falkner interrupted live coverage of a Belgium police terror-hunt interview/presser to go back to Fox News Sunday and the pre-recorded Rubio interview.
Falkner (6:02pm): …“Well, I’m,.. I’m sorry to cut you off but we must return to Fox News Sunday and the interview with Marco Rubio”… ROFLMAO ! Whoopsie.

Trump is the only one working. It’s glaring. He’s not just working, he’s been chugging along lapping the field day-in and day-out for months now. Nobody is attracting the people like Trump. Nobody.

Several people have queried why they would be getting Ted Cruz campaign donation requests/solicitation directly from Breitbart, and/or getting donation requests from Ted Cruz on Breitbart letterhead.
The answer is simple, yet perhaps like me you never knew.
The Breitbart Media Group is financially backed and funded by Hedge-fund billionaire Robert Mercer. Mercer was/is the originating financial backer for the Ted Cruz “Keep the Promise” (KtP 1, KtP2 and KtP3) Super-PACs. Mercer is also the financial backing behind Cambridge Analytica.
Cambridge Analytica is the receiver of the contact information provided to Breitbart when you participate in their on-line Presidential Poll.
In essence, when you participate the Breitbart poll, you are sending your personal information into a data-base controlled by the proprietary interests of Robert Mercer, Cambridge Analytica. The Ted Cruz campaign then uses the data collected to fund-raise on behalf of the Campaign. (more…)
A new poll from Oklahoma shows what a disconnect there can be when using samples of “likely voters” (full poll data pdf below). Donald Trump leads with 27%, Ted Cruz second with 18.3%, Carson in third with 17.5%, Rubio fourth with 16%.
A tightening field with Cruz gaining from Carson’s slips. While Trump leads with all demographics, genders and age ranges (dominating the youth vote), the internals show Carson and Cruz base is within “very religious” segment of the Oklahoma electorate but only minimally stronger than Donald Trump – which is interesting. Overall Oklahoma looks like a four person race.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton remain the top choices for president among Oklahoma voters, according to an exclusive News 9/News On 6 poll.
If Oklahoma’s March 1 primary elections were held today, 27.1 percent of state Republicans say they would vote for Trump. Clinton controls nearly half of the Democrat primary vote, 46.6 percent, according to the poll. (more…)
The media narratives are nothing if not predictable – The latest NBC Poll (pdf below) reflects the preferred media candidate shifting. Ben Carson on the decline, Ted Cruz rising with the assist of disenfranchised Carson supporters, Rubio steady mid-range and Jeb comfortably playing possum.
Captain Obvious says: if you look at longer term NBC/Survey Monkey polling you find this current poll positioning is essentially right where the top-tier was in August just before Operation Hummingbird kicked in.
What that reflects is exactly what we’ve been outlining. The shaking of the field is nothing more than media grabbed the candidates like a snow globe – shook em’ up – and now the race settles right back where it was originally when the debates started. See: (more…)
A large sample national poll conducted by IPSOS for Reuters (full pdf below) reflects an increasingly obvious reality – Donald Trump is the dominant candidate with a vast and growing support base.
Significantly, the data also shows: five times as many independent voters choose Donald Trump over Marco Rubio and/or Ted Cruz.
Political followers have noticed GOPe strategy modified and they stopped attacking Trump directly. Instead they shifted their marginalization approach by trying to attach Trump to candidate Ted Cruz.
Every effort by Team Trump should be made to keep Ted Cruz at arms length. We have previously outlined the reason(s) why Cruz’s electoral strategy is doomed to defeat. There is no winning electoral map within the campaign strategy of Ted Cruz which is based on a very narrow slice of the electorate. (more…)
Under the Paul Ryan approved bill -American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act of 2015– the FBI director would be required to certify the background investigation of each refugee from Iraq and Syria. And only refugees from Iraq and Syria. And if you are Syrian and you walk into Turkey to begin applying for refugee status, presto, the bill doesn’t cover you.
The SAFE ACT requires the FBI, along with the secretary of Homeland Security and the director of National Intelligence, to certify to Congress that each refugee is not a security threat. The legislation also requires the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General’s Office to independently assess the refugee approvals.
However, the bill is largely meaningless and well beyond toothless. Senator Sessions (R-AL) noted refugees and migrants from nine different countries have been implicated in terrorism incidents over the past year. “Ignoring this reality, the American SAFE Act allows the president to continue to bring in as many refugees as he wants from anywhere in the world,” Sessions said previously.
Perhaps the SAFE ACT would be better named the Kerry/Taylor You’ve Got A Friend Act. However, pay close attention to the GOP representatives who are “out front” selling the ruse. Pay attention to them, and pay attention to who they are endorsing:

Today two independently gathered polls reveal an almost identical result. WBUR and Fox News each conducted a poll in New Hampshire (both pdf’s below). Both polls show Donald Trump extending his lead in the state, and both polls show support for Ben Carson collapsing, or at least retracting significantly.
(Via Fox) Donald Trump leads the race for the Republican nomination in New Hampshire, while Bernie Sanders edges Hillary Clinton among Democrats.
That’s according to the latest Fox News poll, released Wednesday, and conducted since Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris. (more…)
Arguably the battleground state of Florida is where the primary will be won or lost in March of 2016. The 100 winner-take-all delegates are the key prize toward primary victory on the GOP side of the presidential race.
The latest poll (full pdf below) from Florida shows Donald Trump growing his lead from September over home state competitors Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush. Several of the internal metrics are interesting, including Trump being the only candidate to extend a lead over Clinton since Joe Biden is removed. Head-to-Head Trump beats Clinton 49 to 40:
