Color me curious.  How many places and what products can you use Food Stamp EBT cards for?  Seriously, honest question.   I had no idea that you could purchase jewelry, tattoos, buy gas, get nails manicured and hair done etc.
I thought the Food Stamp program was to give poor people  food.   Stupid me.
Daily Caller – Massachusetts Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick has vetoed the state legislature’s attempt to ban the use of EBT cards — or food stamps — to purchase items such as tattoos, porn and jewelry.
Patrick vetoed the reforms Sunday while signing the state’s $32.5 billion budget.
According to the Boston Herald, which first reported the veto, the governor berated the legislature’s stab at banning the purchase of specific items like manicures, tattoos, guns, porn, body piercings, jewelry, and bail by saying the move was “political grandstanding” at a time when such reforms are already on track elsewhere. If you have not read the books (trilogy), you should.   If you haven’t watched the movie, well, that’s good too.   Both Treeper Sibilj and Treeper DiwataMan remind me of these two characters; they are quite good dot connectors and in a most unusual way they are keenly on the same trail from two different angles… quite similar.   Life imitates art.
DiwataMan has a construct of what he calls a conspiracy theory – Sibilj has a prediction for where this is headed.   The theory is really close to dead center mass – The prediction is, well, unless things change quickly, at this point, a virtual certainty.

[comment] Why are people claiming that other people are claiming O’Mara is going to throw or lose the case purposefully?  Has Sundance or anyone claimed that?  My position is that, albeit conspiratorial, this case will go to trial no matter what and the powers that be are going to make sure that happens. The main reason is that no one then but a jury will be responsible for impending riots, everyone has covered their butts.
Has O’Mara had anything regarding this case that would allow him to file to get the case thrown out? Will he have a SYG hearing? I bet he will but I bet it will also fail, it has to fail or else that judge who would throw the case out then would be the one to have to answer to all of his little buddies as to why he just allowed the State of Florida to be put into a position of potentially losing billions of dollars, lol, nobody want to be that guy, this thing is going to a jury and the decision to make sure that happens probably occurred when Bondi and Scott got together.  (continue reading)

Black Entertainment Television (BET) aired a Trayvon Martin Exclusive hosted by Emmitt Miller on April 20th.     April 20th is the same date of the First Bond Hearing for George Zimmerman and nine days after Mark O’Mara took over as lead defense attorney (4/11).

Pam Bondi phone call to Tracy and Sybrina – Listen to what she says – Remember Pam Bondi and Benjamin Crump are personal friends from the Martin Lee Anderson case.   Bondi was the State Prosecutor and Crump was the Anderson family civil lawyer suing the state of Florida and Bay County.  It was Bondi who talked Rick Scott into selecting Angela Corey as the prosecutor of George Zimmerman.  Ugh, ugh, ugh….. It’s a trap.
Also note how Benjamin Crump lawyerly parses his words regarding Trayvon’s school records.  We know Trayvon was excessively tardy, absent 53 days in the current school year, and serving his Third 10-day suspension at the time he was staying in Sanford.

I’m nobody, and this is just my opinion.   Disregard it, take it with a grain of salt, consider it irrelevant.  I’m certainly not in your shoes, but for what it’s worth:

George, STAY IN JAIL !  – Sometimes the worst thing you can give your opposition is exactly what they want.  The entire bond construct, including restrictions, are beyond ridiculous and absurd.
Save your money, stay in jail.   Take control and use the situation to your advantage.    Use the money you would have spent on freedom to hire a media team to get the truth out.   Frame your own narrative.   Yeah, you have $211,000 to defend yourself against the onslaught, but tell your story. Judge Lester is specifically and intentionally using his power to manipulate the Orlando court system, in a flawed ideological effort to avoid being on the wrong side of those political forces who can bring him down.  It appears George Zimmerman is being set up to fail with the current Bond Ruling.

The Judicial Order establishing bond has been structured and worded with the specific intent of “using” the legal system to produce a  “desired outcome” (key words “using” and “desired”).
IMHO  –  Representation from “outside” Seminole County is needed asap, and serious consideration should be given to keeping GZ in jail for the moment.   Safer ten-fold. (more…)

(The Washington Times) — Federal immigration authorities have begun granting tentative legal status to illegal immigrants under President Obama’s deportation halt — and in some cases are even ignoring the administration’s eligibility rules to stop deportations for those who shouldn’t qualify, according to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, said he’s learned some illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. less than five years have had their deportations canceled, even though Mr. Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet A. The Daily Caller posted a story earlier in the week about President Obama, through the USDA, promoting the increased dependency on government through the use of food stamps.   This, despite the fact that federal spending on the food stamp program has increased  100 percent under President Barack Obama, the government continues to push more  Americans to enroll in the welfare program.
(from the article) The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has embraced entire  promotional campaigns designed to encourage eligible Americans to participate in  the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamps.
A pamphlet currently posted at the USDA website encourages local SNAP offices  to throw parties as one way to get potentially eligible seniors to enroll in the  program. (more…)

WASHINGTON – Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday blasted his fellow members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) for staging a walkout on a contempt vote by the House against Attorney General Eric Holder.
“Today the Congressional Black Caucus and other liberal Members of Congress judged the Attorney General by the color of his skin, and not by the content of his character,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “I am disappointed my colleagues would rather engage in a political stunt to distract the American people from knowing the truth behind the Attorney General’s disregard of the law and disrespect of congressional oversight to provide requested documents.”
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee last week moved to hold Holder in contempt, charging he had not cooperated fully with the committee’s investigation into the controversial gun-tracking operation known as “Fast and Furious.” The full House voted 255-67 on Thursday to hold Holder in contempt, but House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and many other Democrats joined the (CBC) in staging a walkout during the vote. (DEADLINE) Coming off its least-watched month in primetime in 20 years in May, CNN has taken another big ratings blow: The cable news network has registered to its lowest-rated quarter in primetime since 1991.
For this year’s second quarter, CNN hit a low among total viewers and the key adults 25-54 demographic, with all primetime programs posting steep declines. The network averaged 446,000 total viewers and 129,000 in the 25-54 demo in primetime. Compared to last year’s second quarter, that’s down 35% and 41%, respectively.
Rival Fox New Channel, meanwhile, with 1.79 million primetime total viewers on average, was down 1% from its 2011 second-quarter numbers. FNC lost 14% in the 25-54, bringing in 355,000 viewers. MSNBC was down 13% in total primetime viewers, with 689,000 on average, and down 17% in the 25-54 with 217,000. The quarter ran March 26-June 22. (more…)

It really doesn’t matter what aspect of progdom you are looking at, the inherent failure, nay – constitutional inability, to recognize the obvious, is the commonality in all things progressive.   Really, I’m not kidding; nor am I being snarky or curt, it’s just factually true.

Prog companies spend hundreds of thousands, if not millions, on marketing analysis and various consultants to help them understand what is occurring within their business model because they operate from a detached reality view toward their customer.
Prog companies believe that all their customers are also progs.  It is just how they view the world.   It’s weird.
But when stuff does not make sense to them, or their business model weakens or begins to fail, they pay a lot of money because they have to exit their comfort circle for advice or they will fail.   It’s true, and I can give you countless first hand experiences.  If progressively run companies maintain only advice from like-minded progs when they are suffering, they will fail.  100% of the time.   Guaranteed.
It is what’s happening to Facebook right now.  They are still stuck in the prog circle aka doomsday-predictive, circling, echo-chamber of progdom.   But this post is not about Facebook.   This post is about a brick and mortar company.   And what you are about to read, free of charge mind you, is an example of everything above.
