(Huffington Idjits) Less than one week after the mass shooting which left 12 dead at a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., the Denver Post reports background checks for people wanting to purchase firearms in the state have jumped more than 41 percent.

“It’s been insane,” Rocky Mountain Guns and Ammo employee Jake Meyers told the paper, saying there were already 15-20 people waiting outside the store when he arrived at work Friday morning, just hours after the massacre.

Over the weekend, the Colorado Bureau of Investigations approved 2,887 background checks for people seeking to purchase a firearm, according to the Post.

The spike follows an example set in Arizona, where gun sales soared following a shooting which left six dead and 13 wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, according to Bloomberg.

That report cited data from the Federal Bureau of Investigations, which found one-day sales of handguns in Arizona jumped 60 percent two days after the shooting. (more…)

(Via PJ Tatler) Fresh off of handing a “diversity” award to outspoken Jew-hater Dawud Walid, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is moving on to a new outrage by launching an attack on the U.S. Constitution.

The current issue of ISNA’s bi-monthly magazine Islamic Horizons carries an article about ISNA’s demand for gun control.

Specifically, the article, with the unambiguous title “ISNA Seeks Gun Control,” cites the shooting of Trayvon Martin to explain their opposition to S. 2188, the “National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012,” and S. 2213, the “Respecting States’ Rights and Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012.”  (continue reading)

Consider this an ongoing experiment that you will have exclusive front row seats to watch fall apart.   Generally we prefer to just watch things play out, and wait to the end to share the story.   But this one is different, and so far 22 days in, the Prog-Marxist refusal to name or confront the problem is getting, well, predictibly interesting.   Here is the backstory:

New York City spent $50 million to re-open a huge public pool on June 28th. In less than a month there have been at least four major mob attacks. The pool also experiences daily violence and chronic problems with patrons defecating in the pool.

One of the latest mob attacks was a racially motivated assault of a thirteen year old white girl by older black teens.   The perps gloated on the internet about the crime, (story and video below) so we know they were all black.   However, the New York media is desperately censoring the race of the perpetrators in all of the pool mob attacks, and McCarren Park issues.     Typical Cultural Marxism in Prog-Central New York City. A young Irish woman on vacation in New York City was walking home with a friend when a thinly built black male walked up to her and smashed her in the face with a masonary brick completely at random.  The assailant appears to have committed the attack simply ‘for the fun of it’.   The young lady is undergoing facial reconstruction.

CBS New York –  Alisha Jordan came to play Gaelic football in a local woman’s league. Her friend and roommate, Rosie O’Reilly, told CBS 2′s Lou Young her injuries are horrifying.

“The front of her skull is crushed. They’re doing re-constructive surgery where they’re putting a plate in her skull to hold it together,” O’Reilly said. “She has 15 stitches between her eyes. Her teeth are broken.”

Oh yeah, nevermind, I forgot they don’t investigate “hate crimes” for federal prosecution when it’s “his people”.    Think for a moment……, the robbery was successful, they had the money, the victim was tied up, he had no idea who they were,…… So why light him on fire?

Oh yeah, and let me just clarify the article for the part the media will not share; the victim was white, the guys with the hoods who lit him on fire were black.

JOHNSTOWN Pennsylvania — West Hills Regional Police continued to search this morning for two men who allegedly robbed a Lower Yoder Township man Thursday night, tied him up and set him on fire.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim, who is believed to be in his 40s.  He was taken to West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh with severe burns, West Hills police Chief Andy Havas said.

The man told police he was working in his garage in the 100 block of Norton Road when two black males with hoods over their heads entered the garage at about 11 p.m. He said one of the suspects hit him in the back of the head with a handgun. (more…)

The Jackboots are coming !

The ATF’s Fast & Furious scandal has now led to Eric Holder being the first Attorney General ever found in contempt of Congress.  However, had it not been for whistle-blowers, the ATF’s arming of Mexican drug cartels would probably still be a secret.

Now a video memo from ATF boss Todd Jones has been leaked to the public by an unknown ATF employee. The video shows Todd Jones threatening agents not to go outside the chain of command.

Jones states, ” if you don’t find the appropriate way to raise your concerns to your leadership, there will be consequences.” Congressman Chuck Grassley sent Todd Jones a letter saying that the statement *”appears to be a threat” against potential whistle-blowers.

*Appears to be?  Appears to be?   I would love to get Zurich Mikes’ opinion on this policy implementation video from a Compliance Officer’s perspective.

Getting On The Enemies List – This column has already told the story of Frank VanderSloot, an Idaho businessman who last year contributed to a group supporting Mitt Romney. An Obama campaign website in April sent a message to those who’d donate to the president’s opponent. It called out Mr. VanderSloot and seven other private donors by name and occupation and slurred them as having “less-than-reputable” records.

Mr. VanderSloot has since been learning what it means to be on a presidential enemies list. Just 12 days after the attack, the Idahoan found an investigator digging to unearth his divorce records. A WFTV report shows some aspects of the autopsy performed on Trayvon Martin. FULL AUTOPSY REPORT HERE – The autopsy revealed bruising and cuts to the hands of Trayvon Martin consistent with the statements and accounts of George Zimmerman.   The autopsy also revealed that Trayvon had THC in his blood and urine consistent with marijuana use.

In addition the autopsy report revealed moderate beginning signs of brain damage, and mild liver damage associated with prolonged use of DXM or in street lingo “Lean “ in an otherwise healthy young man.  2006 ABC NEWS – It’s more than a drug; it’s a culture. It’s what’s known on the street as “Lean,” a highly addictive cocktail of cough syrup, Juice or soda, and candy (see Watermelon Juice, Skittles, Robitussin) so potent it makes you “lean” over when high.

We have previously outlined extensive research into Trayvon’s well known drug use as discussed with his peers, and the well documented social converstions with his friends about his drug lifestyle.  These are not subject to interpretation.   They are factual and truthful.
In addition, it should also be noted this is the same autopsy Trayvon Family Attorney Benjamin Crump filed previous court orders (March 6th-7th) to keep out of public review.  Crump filed filed injunctions to seal school records, attendance records, disciplinary records, and law enforcement contact records as well as the autopsy.
We have outlined the lies, falsehoods and specific manipulations by various parties associated with the false narrative.
