On Thursday’s “Your World,” Neil Cavuto repeatedly pressed Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson for specifics on what Democrats would be willing to cut as part of a budget agreement. For her part, the Texas congresswoman insisted on focusing on “revenue generation.”

[liberal/progressive policies and ] public efforts to transform the mental health care system to be more humane, to characterize mentally ill people as “Just thinking differently”, and characterizing mental health care as some form of evil, we now have a system that makes it virtually impossible to get folks like Lanza the care they need.

Deinstitutionalization policies driven by “do good” liberals and the federal government put focus on limited bad acts. Kesey wrote a story based on his LSD induced observations in one VA mental hospital. [One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest]   Once his story was put into film, his small example falsely characterized the bulk of mental health care as dehumanizing and made it impossible to force the Lanza’s of the world to get treatment.

According to ABC News, Ryan Lanza, the older brother of 20-year-old Connecticut school massacre perpetrator Adam Lanza, has told police that his brother has Asperger Syndrome and another “personality disorder.” ABC News reports:  Neighbors described the younger man to ABC as “odd” and displaying characteristics associated with obsessive-compulsive disorder. As you may remember, on March 29th we were reviewing another “exclusive”  ABC release of George Zimmerman at Sanford Police Dept. when we noticed something odd, the video was/is actually a recording of a monitor.  Initially we thought that meant it was not an official release.  We were wrong.   ABC was given a digital Hi-def copy from the outset.

We now know that ABC was the first to posess a digital copy of the actual CCTV recording.  But they chose instead to use a lesser quality, and far lower definition, video.  (This is what they aired)

This insanity actually started last April – Jesse Jackson: Trayvon Martin Would Not Have Been Killed If He Wasn’t Suspended From School – ergo Suspensions are RACIST – No More Black Suspensions…

It Advanced In August – With President Obama issuing an “executive order”  establishing the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African-Americans.  Effectively placing “quotas” on school discipline based on race.

It continues today……  (CNSNews.com) – “Students of color, students with disabilities and male students” are suspended at a disproportionate rate than their peers, in “potential violation of civil rights laws,” an Education Department official said Wednesday at the first ever congressional hearing on the so-called school-to-prison pipeline. (Via Big Government)  Local Lansing Michigan hot dog vendor Clint Tarver was catering for Americans For Prosperity during the right-to-work demonstrations at the State Capitol on Tuesday, when two men rushed into the tent. In a video interview with Breitbart News, Clint claims one of the men wore a “Devil Mask.”

When reporter Lee Stranahan describes a Guy Fawkes mask, Tarver indicates that it sounds like that is what the assailant wore. Tarver was shown a photo of a Guy Fawkes mask after the interview and confirmed that it what the attacker who kicked over coffee machines and began attacking the tent with a box cutter, was wearing. Newsbusters – All three networks on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning ignored the violent assaults by union protesters in Michigan, instead vaguely insisting that activists were simply “voicing their anger” at the “showdown raging in the heartland.” The morning shows on Wednesday allowed little coverage of Michigan at all, a mere 72 seconds out of eight hours of programming.  (read more)
