Page Croyder spent nearly 21 years with the Baltimore State’s Attorney’s Office before retiring from that agency in January, 2008.   After moving to Baltimore and becoming a city prosecutor, she served as a trial attorney, Chief of the Charging Division, Chief of Personnel, and Deputy State’s Attorney.

[Marilyn Mosby’s] case against the two arresting officers rests upon an “illegal” arrest.  She says the knife that Freddie Gray was carrying was legal.  But the police task force examined it and said the officers were indeed correct, the knife was spring-assisted and therefore prohibited.
It’s Mosby who made the “illegal” arrest, and could be charged under her own theory of “false imprisonment.” And sued to boot, since she forfeited her immunity from civil action by doing the charging herself. (link)

We continue looking through the direct action filing, the probable cause to arrest determination, as outlined in Mosby’s own words – and comparing her words to the factual evidence she is seeking to hide.  What we are finding is jaw dropping.
Mosby claimed:

[…] “Despite stopping for the purpose of checking on Mr. Gray’s condition, at no point did [Officer Goodson] seek nor did he render any medical assistance for Mr. Gray.” (link)

Obviously AG Lynch has a vested interest in this case.  It would be embarrassing to the administration, to the AG, and to the larger professional grievance community, if a poorly constructed case -built with a racially embedded narrative- were to be exposed to sunlight.
Not only is the case based on activism and agenda, but the likelihood of the case falling apart has increased exponentially over the past 72 hours.

..”They Shot That Boy For No Reason !”

Earlier today the police approached a man on the street in Baltimore suspected of carrying a firearm. Before the police could reach him the man took off running. During the pursuit the suspects handgun either fell, or was dropped, as he fled. The suspects gun went off when it hit the ground. Fortunately no-one was hit by the discharge. The man was tackled by the chasing officers and then, out of an abundance of caution, transported via ambulance.
No police officer fired their weapons. No-one was shot. The only firearm discharge was from the fleeing suspect as his firearm hit the ground.
Now watch this video of how a female “eye-witness”, injected her perception of the event, and quickly reported it to the media and enraged the community.  Passionate, angry, tearful and adamant about what she witnessed.

Of course, none of that is true.  Nothing she is describing actually took place.
This should be a case study in how unreliable agenda witness statements actually are.

Considering the jihadist attack in Garland Texas, it will not take long for the professional left to begin espousing the familiar tome: “free speech, but“….
There is no “but” in any sentence about “free speech”.  It is, it exists, -or-, it is not, it does not exist.  It is that simple.

The fact that a simple event depicting pictures of Muhammad needs to spend $10,000 to hire security -IN AMERICA- should be the real story.  The fact that a simple event depicting pictures would be considered “controversial” -IN AMERICA- should be the sub line of the real story.  Alas, these simple considerations will be lost amid the “but” crowd.
“But”, free speech does not protect offensive speech – is another familiar, perhaps the most frequent, refrain from the “but” crowd.  Insufferably wrong.   The only speech that needs first amendment protection is “offensive speech”, if your speech wasn’t controversial or offensive it would not need protection. Creepy Weird Level = Eleventy !

NBC FLORIDA – A Florida man is suing a hospital after his amputated leg was found in the trash.
According to the Miami Herald, the Key Largo man went to Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables to have his leg amputated below his knee. The hospital then threw the leg away instead of incinerating it, which is the normal practice.
The man found out about the incident when homicide detectives knocked on his door and asked him why his leg was found at a waste management facility with the man’s name tag still attached.
Hospital officials have not explained how the mistake was made. Doctor’s Hospital released a statement, saying in part (read more)

Democrats have controlled the City of Baltimore for Decades. The Mayor, Police, City Council, and all officials are liberal Democrats. The Maryland state legislature is under Democrat control; for the past eight years they had a Democrat Governor, and 6 out of 8 congressional districts are Democrat officials.
Yet, who do they blame for the problems in Baltimore? …..Wait for it…. why a Republican Governor who just won election at the beginning of this year of course.
