Whether Mark O’Mara will seek another attempt to delay trial now the Fifth District Court of Appeals has ruled in his favor -regarding the Benjamin Crump deposition- is an unknown variable. However, after numerous person to person conversations today it would be a good thing if he did. A very good thing.

After confronting roadblocks head-on, we are close to bringing forth a super-nova blast of sunlight, perhaps as early as late tomorrow. (cautious optimism) If we’re lucky, and God Willing, the information we should be able to share will lend a whole new perspective toward events scheduled to occur on Thursday / Friday. {{fingers crossed}}

Regarding the District Court of Appeals, we can confirm, with specific certainty, the three judges involved in the decision/ruling for the Writ of Certiorari: Lawson, Evander and Cohen, are considered the three absolute best. They are not only isolated from pressure they are highly likely to know exactly what is going on with the Zimmerman case as a whole.

Several recent developments are really beginning to highlight what happens when Radical Alinskyites take hold of political power. What we are all seeing in the national headlines, and the stories the liberal media are trying to ignore, is confirmation of how anti-American the progressive left actually is.

•  Today we shared with you how the man in charge of making sure racism is appropriately addressed in this country had to quit his job because he was told to carry out a racist leftist agenda.   Do not sell this factual story short on the importance scale.   Sure the media will not report it – But it is actually a fact.

When we revealed the Miami-Dade School Police Department cover-up, we were contacted by a well known writer who wanted to commend the Treehouse community for our dogged pursuit of truth. Additionally, they were astounded at the information revealed within the six sworn affidavits – and asked for a phone call.

Reluctantly, after much back and forth, we decided to go ahead and make the call. In essence the writer wanted to reconcile how they had never seen any of this information in the Main-Stream press – they considered it explosive, and couldn’t fathom why the Miami Herald had never followed up on their FOIA request about the burglary.

As a consequence of this phone call I was begged to contact the Main-Stream media and provide the information – Not to do so was framed as not doing everything possible to help the Truth, and as a consequence George Zimmerman.   Zimmerguilt eventually dictated my acquiescence. (more…)

Typical – The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) demands to know if their brother Islamist had his civil rights violated by the way law enforcement responded to his attack.   Citing the fact Chechen,  Ibragim Todashev, was shot 7 times after he became violent during FBI questioning about his relationship to the Boston bombers.

(Fox 35 Orlando, FL)   An advocacy group is demanding a civil-rights investigation into the death of a Chechen immigrant shot by an FBI agent in Orlando last week during questioning into his ties to one of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects.

During a news conference Wednesday, a Council on American-Islamic Relations spokesman said Ibragim Todashev, 27, was not only unarmed the night he was shot, he was shot seven times. (more…)

Blogger Matt Forney has an honest presentation about a local murder in his community, and the insufferable Media / Law Enforcement Political Correctness in their approach toward the community affected.

Syracuse, NY — Authorities have charged two teenagers in the May 23 attack and subsequent death of a 51-year-old Syracuse man outside a South Side market.

A 13-year-old and a 15-year-old have each been charged with first-degree manslaughter in the killing of Michael Daniels, Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler and Mayor Stephanie Miner said at a news conference Thursday night.

Daniels was standing alone outside Los Amigos Market at the corner of Cannon Street and West Brighton Avenue around 9:40 p.m. on May 23 when when he was attacked by a group of teenagers. Police said the teens repeatedly punched Daniels and then kicked him in the head while he was on the ground.

He died a day later at Upstate University Hospital.

Fowler said the two teens were taking part in “Knockout,” a game in which people randomly target someone on the street and try to knock the person out by punching them.

Don’t you just love the mainstream media, how effortlessly they omit and contort stories that don’t fit their prefab worldview? I grew up in Syracuse, so I can provide a local perspective on this. (more…)

On the heels of the recent reports about the Dept. of Justice beginning to crack down on Free Speech, under the auspices of protecting civil rights, we need to focus attention like a laser beam on the potential collapse of freedom.

We are the only site that (I’m aware of) willing to tell people about the Federal Dept Of Justice – Community Relations Service (the CRS).   As is the case with all progressive endeavors, the initial function of the CRS was sold to the politicians who fund it, as an entity organized to insure community racial cohesion.

However, it quickly devolved into an entity whose sole purpose was to use Politically Correct leverage, and cultural Marxism, to protect the image of racial minorities from the public visibility of their own behavior. (more…)

Might sound like an odd headline, perhaps one that makes media diminishment so easy.   But that actual headline was from the same news outlet who broke the story of John Edwards actually having a love child from a long time extramarital affair with a mistress who worked on his campaign – and whom he covered up living with, while using campaign donations and finances, and all while running a Presidential campaign.

The point?  You never know who is going to discover any individual truth;  And the truth doesn’t care about the constitution of who finds it, any more than it cares about the feelings or sensibilities of those who would be affected by its existence.  It just is. (more…)

FACT:  Eric Holder approved and affirmed a phone records subpoena claiming Fox News journalist, James Rosen, was an unindicted co-conspirator to domestic terrorism charges.  He then went judge shopping to get the subpoenas validated;  two judges said NO, the 3rd agreed to approve.   Holder said after reading about it in the Washington Post he regrets doing it.  

However, prior to that coming out,  on May 15th Holder went before congress and said:

“with regard to potential prosecution of the press for disclosure of material, that is not something that I have ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be a wise policy.”

A flat out lie.  No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.   He was “involved in”;  He had “heard of”; and he did “think it was a wise policy”;  After all, he approved it.

But according to the White House, Holder was being truthful. (more…)

First a few general house keeping fyi’s.  My sincere apologies for anyone who felt slighted by sending a Twitter DM and not getting a response.  We barely use Twitter; The auto-twitter feature that dispatches post notifications is on auto-pilot and we rarely go to the actual Treehouse Twitter home page.  Only yesterday I became aware of the DM feature and upon checking the ‘envelopey thing’ realized people had submitted notes that sat unattended.  Again, my apologies.

Brass Tacks on the Zimmerman case:

Meet The Clockers:   The revelation that Trayvon Martin’s phone holds a video he made of a homeless man being beaten by Trayvon and his team of co-horts is, well, a big deal.  A VERY big deal.

This means the State of Florida has known since, well, lets be generous, June/July of last year, that they possessed evidence of a crime.   Obviously, it appears they did nothing about it – most likely because it would have presented itself as a diminishment to their case and the narrative of innocent, skittle carrying, teenage Trayvon.

However, now the video is known by both the Defense and the Prosecution, and by consequence the media, I’m sure someone would want to follow up on the criminal activity the video documents.    Someone, anyone, right? (more…)
