CLAYTON • There will be no announcement Sunday from the St. Louis County grand jury hearing the Michael Brown shooting case, sources have told the Post-Dispatch.

The grand jury is to reconvene Monday. – A decision was widely expected this weekend, but the grand jury is still gathering information. Barricades went up outside the county Justice Center and county police headquarters in Clayton on Saturday in preparation for an eventual announcement.
Protesters have been preparing to take to the streets if Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson is not charged in the fatal Aug. 9 shooting of Brown, 18, during a confrontation in a street beside an apartment complex. Police have been readying for increased protests, and Gov. Jay Nixon has called in the National Guard for extra protection of some locations.
SECRET BY LAW  – Whatever the grand jury decides, how its members arrived at their decision — and the votes for or against an indictment — will remain secret by law. (more…)

UPDATE:  Multiple sources tell CBS News that the announcement of a grand jury decision in the Michael Brown shooting case is not expected before Monday.

A 12-member jury is weighing whether to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who is white, with fatally shooting Brown, a black teenager who was unarmed, on Aug. 9.
The case triggered months of protests on the streets of Ferguson, some of which turned violent. Some activists are calling for widespread changes in the way police officers interact with the community, race relations and socioeconomic factors that led to the unrest.
To that end, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon appointed 16 people to the Ferguson Commission, which will study the issues and recommend action steps in a Sept. 2015 report. (link)

Tonight the Ferguson Protestors caused a serious car accident with their road blocking nonsense. They charged into the street and a motorist had to take evasive action to avoid hitting anyone. The driver slammed head-first into a light post.

Early in the Ferguson protesting a group of professional communists and antagonists from Chicago arrived on scene to exploit the Mike Brown shooting outrage.

Today within an article highlighting school closings for Monday and Tuesday in/around the Saint Louis/Ferguson area you find the following disturbing mentions:

[…]  School district representatives from several north St. Louis County districts say they’ve been requested by law enforcement to close for two days immediately after the announcement to keep buses and excess traffic off streets in the event of unrest.

Children in Jennings don’t have bus service. Most of them walk, making Anderson even more concerned for their safety.

On Thursday, Anderson said a group of adults wearing masks and claiming to be from Chicago were passing out fliers to students as they walked home along Cozens Avenue. The street has an elementary school, the junior high and high school.

Riddled throughout President Obama’s Executive Order speech last night was something more than prosecutorial discretion and/or non-deportation.  Extensively disbursed throughout the proposal was a claim of lawful “work/employment status”.

[…]  Now here’s the thing: we expect people who live in this country to play by the rules.  We expect that those who cut the line will not be unfairly rewarded.  So we’re going to offer the following deal:  If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes – you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation.  You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law.

Later in the speech Obama condescendingly referenced the way he views the work of illegal aliens:

…[…] Are we a nation that tolerates the hypocrisy of a system where workers who pick our fruit and make our beds never have a chance to get right with the law?
