Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer will change the Senate rules to pass legislation with a simple majority.  They will not eliminate the filibuster rule per se’, they will simply enact a 51 vote threshold rule for legislative passage.  (Reasoning to follow)

Once the immediate needs of the individual constituency of democrat coalitions is paid off, (Amnesty for Latino’s, Gay Marriage for LGBT, etc) the machinations that include Harry Reid will move by fall 2013 on Carbon Taxation programs.  Together with the EPA Regulatory arm a system of “Carbon Trading” will be instituted prior to the run up to the mid-term 2014 election, hence the fall 2013 kick off just like Obamacare fall 2009. Puerto Rico voted yesterday to become the 51st state – Barack Obama said he would honor their vote.

Almost 80% of the island’s electorate took part in the referendum, the fourth in the past 45 years.

With almost all the votes counted, almost 54% voted to change the island’s relationship with the US.   And in reply to a second question on what future they favored, nearly two-thirds wanted full statehood… (more…)

I write this not as a partisan, but as one American who has been engaged in extensive political research for five solid years.   The picture in our current banner is reflective of my feeling right now:  Hands outstretched toward the heavens asking “why”?   Not why did Mitt Romney lose, but why cannot our citizenry see what they just did?

By now most of you know my approach at understanding events, and their surrounding outcomes.  Events that create both intended, and unintended consequences.

That approach is research; pure research to understand the specifics of the circumstances and understand the mindset behind the people within the events being portrayed.

The “why” is more valuable than the “what”.

So I hope you will digest this analysis with the understanding this is not a series of guesses, projections, or predictions.   This is merely assembling the puzzle bits – organizing them, placing them into their logical pattern of connectivity – then standing back and looking at what is factually evident within the assembly. (Excerpt Via Pat Dollard)   A rep from Jarrett office was in today. She gave us a finish line pep talk and then afterwards, heard her saying how Jarrett is very excited about a 2nd term agenda and a big part of that agenda is to punish everyone who opposed them during the first term and the campaign. Strange that everything was “Ms. Jarrett wants this, and Ms. Jarrett is looking forward to that”. You hardly heard Obama’s name mentioned by her which I guess reinforces what people are saying. Valerie Jarrett really is the power in the White House. I know that when her representative showed up it was like royalty was visiting. All the big dogs were lined up to meet her and acting real friendly and they gave us a heads up an hour before and told us we better “put on a good show” while she was here. (more…)

A recent CIA “press briefing” has led to a new, but not unexpected, evolutionary narrative explaining the insufferable incompetence and obfuscation surrounding the Benghazi slaughter.

What better administrative “cover” for the falsehoods, lies and intentional administrative spin on the murders of four Americans than to hide behind the guise of the Central Intelligence Agency.   Vis-a-vi:  “we had to lie because it was all secret and stuff”… Seriously?   So this is the strategy now to hide the incompetence?

Before you read this excellent consideration by Clare Lopez outlining the serious possibility for Turkish involvement in the Benghazi attack, it is important to remember how close President Obama is to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.   Erdogan is a severe islamist and both Obama and Erdogan are very friendly.

What she outlines in this report is extremely alarming to consider, given the nature of President Obama and Erdogan’s personal friendship and given the nature of Turkey’s involvement with the Syrian uprising.

According to an October 27, 2012 report, Libyan witnesses from the Benghazi neighborhood where the U.S. compound was located told reporters from the Associated Press (AP) that “150 bearded gunmen, some wearing the Afghan-style tunics favored by Islamic militants began sealing off the streets” leading to the facility “around nightfall.” (more…)

For any other President, with any other media, at any other time in our nation, this story alone would lead to impeachment…..   Congressional Oversight Committee has specific fact-based proof that President Obama collaborated with the Dept. Of Energy to steer green energy/stimulus funding money into Nevada to support Harry Reid’s 2010 election.   They openly admit as such.

WASHINGTON – President Obama claims that political considerations did not influence the Energy Department’s green energy loan program, but newly-released internal emails show that his administration subsidized Nevada companies in order to help Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., win his 2010 reelection campaign.

“And these are decisions, by the way, that are made by the Department of Energy, they have nothing to do with politics,” Obama said last week when asked about the green companies that have gone bankrupt despite receiving taxpayer support. (more…)
