Juvenile delinquency in Florida’s public schools declined dramatically during the last six months of 2011, the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) announced today.

Delinquency referrals in schools throughout the state declined 16 percent compared to the same period the year before.   School referrals declined in 46 of Florida’s 67 counties, with Miami-Dade recording the biggest numeric decline (353 cases or 60 percent) in school-related delinquency.  A school-related referral is an arrest for a juvenile misdemeanor or felony committed on school grounds. We call it “his money” because in the world of all things progressive they view wealth, or income, as belonging to the State.   Progressives in a larger sense view wealth as a static amount of available resource, a single pie to be divided – the Scarcity mentality.

Therefore all production value, the income earnings of your labor, actually belongs to the State, and they alone will determine how much of their money you are allowed to receive.  It is, in its most direct sense, the essential tenet of fabial-socialism;  Which is, as you know, the essential ideology of modern progressives (Democrats or Liberals defined).

WASHINGTON – President Obama’s 2014 budget calls for a trillion dollars in new taxes, almost twice as much as previously thought, The Washington Examiner has learned.

“Of the more than $1 trillion in new taxes, about $800 billion is raised through the individual income tax system, about $125 billion comes from new excise taxes — including new taxes on tobacco and financial companies,” a source familiar with the president’s budget explained. “The remainder comes from reverting back to the 2009 estate tax parameters and other miscellaneous tax increases.” […]   (link)

FACT:  The last federal budget actually signed into law took place in September of 2007 for fiscal year 2008.  It was signed by President Bush.

FACT:  Since then, and due to the Democrat party spending objectives, not a single day of the Obama administration has been with any budget restrictions at all.

FACT:  The ‘spend at will’ Democrats had full control of both houses of congress and the White House for Fiscal Years 2009, 2010, 2011 and they never passed a budget.   The Senate never even proposed one, and the Obama budget proposal only got 2 votes in 2011, and -ZERO- votes in 2012. (more…)

(via Mediaite)  On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012.

In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her.

Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department:

He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there, that they were going to be attacked, ‘please they needed more security,’ and they were ignored. And I don’t appreciate everybody going to bed and going to sleep and not taking care of the guys that they put in harm’s way, one of them being my son. (more…)

CAIRO (AP) — A mob threw rocks and fired birdshot Sunday at several hundred Christians marching in a protest against Egypt’s Islamist government after the funeral of four Christians killed in sectarian clashes over the weekend.

The Christians were chanting slogans against Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, just as several thousand did earlier during the funeral service nearby in the Coptic Orthodox cathedral in Cairo.

The attacking mob, described by witnesses as residents of the area, forced the marchers to take shelter inside the sprawling cathedral complex. They also showered the protesters with rocks from the roofs of nearby buildings, according to witness Ibrahim el-Shareef. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Friday that unless nominations start moving swiftly through the Senate, another round of dramatic rules changes may be in the offing.

The Nevada Democrat said that while he was “happy” with the modest rules changes adopted in January on a bipartisan basis, the number of pending judicial nominations led him to warn his colleagues of the potential for the chamber’s rules to be modified at any point in the year, not just at the opening of a new Congress.
