The Republican Machine Continues To Play Decepticon Role – Grow Government and Destroy Conservative Freedom Opposition…

In the final analysis the intellectually honest observer would admit the GOP and the Democrats are generally aligned in favor of government control of Healthcare and Immigration, ie. amnesty.

In a recent New York Times article titled “Chastened G.O.P. Tries to Foil Insurgents at Primary Level” you find a typical narrative; Tea Party is EXTREME and GOP is moderate. Searching for an outlier to use as representative Tea Party imagery the Times select Virginian whacko Richard H Black to broad stroke conservatives, while framing ‘moderation’ as the best political course.

Nothing is more annoying than the constant drumbeat to connect outliers in the Alinsky-ization of grass roots concern. Isolate, Ridicule and Marginalize. Then wash, rinse, repeat.

mcconnell-cornynWhat the GOP fear more than defeat against democrats is losing internal power over Big Business and Big Government. Establishment class Republicans, like those found inside the rolls of the Chamber of Commerce, will fight for their own power hungry ideology with a desperate intent.

(Times Excerpt) […] In House and Senate races across the country, many of the traditional and influential centers of power within the party are taking sides in primaries, overwhelming challengers on the right with television ads and, in some cases, retaliating against those who are helping the insurgents. In Mr. Black’s case, one by one, powerful Republicans started backing his rival, Barbara J. Comstock, a member of the State House of Delegates. First Mitt Romney endorsed her. Then came Citizens United and the president of Americans for Prosperity, the group financed by the wealthy Koch brothers. (more…)

I Am Brainstorming Some Kentucky Billboards….. Wanna Help?

Will be outlining some particulars tomorrow about a specific Treehouse movement / objective in Kentucky.    We have been conversing with some young and energetic boots on the blue-grass ground and much organization is still to be worked out.

However, I am in discussions to blitz a message in March and April.   The theme is:

“Smidgens of Kentucky Unite”

The sub message is:

“DITCH MITCH”

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to come up with quick catch phrases around the *PRIMARY Theme* “Smidgens of Kentucky Unite”; which can/will be expanded to “Smidgens of America Unite” for 2014 primaries beyond Kentucky.

Conceptually using the negative emotion toward the IRS, the negative emotion toward dismissiveness, and reinforcing a righteous outrage. (more…)

Ditch Mitch – New Kentucky Poll Shows Trouble For Mitch McConnell

McConnell and BoehnerA new Rasmussen poll shows McConnell stuck in a 42% to 42% tie with Alison Lundergan Grimes (D-KY).

This is an extremely weak position for a Republican in Kentucky who is universally known, and it’s not likely to improve. More money has already been spent in favor of McConnell and against Grimes yet McConnell remains frozen in the low 40s.

This is exactly why we have been calling on him to retire for over a year.

If Mitch McConnell is the Republican nominee, he will lose the general election and cost Republicans the seat.

McConnell will also force the party to spend millions trying to save him — money that could otherwise be spent winning seats in other states. (more…)

The Rebel Alliance Is Destroying The Death Star – Grassroots Conservative Patriots Out Fundraising Establishment GOP Machine….

New York Times Headline:  “Rebel Conservatives Excel in G.O.P. Fund-Raising, Heralding a Tug Right“…

Gadsden_flagWOLVERINES !

(Via New York Times)  Insurgent conservatives seeking to pull the Republican Party to the right raised more money last year than the groups controlled by the party establishment, whose bulging bank accounts and ties to major donors have been their most potent advantage in the running struggle over the party’s future, according to new campaign filings and interviews with officials.

Baby Newt

The shift in fortunes among the largest and most influential outside political groups could have an enormous impact in the 2014 election cycle, as the warring Republican factions prepare to square off in a series of Senate and House primaries around the country and as Republican leaders seek to rein in activists who they believe have fractured and endangered the party with policies that alienate independent-leaning voters. The Kentucky Primary Race – Mitch McConnell VS Matt Bevin

(Via SCF) There is no Senate race in the country that is more important than the Republican primary election in Kentucky between Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and conservative businessman Matt Bevin (R-KY).

Bevin_Family

The outcome of the Republican primary in Kentucky will determine the direction of the Republican Party for years to come.

If Mitch McConnell wins, the party will continue to drift away from its conservative principles and become increasingly hostile to the grassroots. But if Matt Bevin wins, the establishment’s stranglehold over the party will be broken and power will be restored to the people who elect these politicians.

We have several things to report on this race and we hope you will take a few minutes to read this important update. (more…)

Against All Odds – Conservative Matt Bevin Talks To CNN About Taking On Mitch McConnell

Matt Bevin, who was recently endorsed by Freedomworks, does a great job in this interview explaining why he’s running against Mitch McConnell and dodges a few landmines while he’s at it. (read more)

Ugh, Ugh, Ugh, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz Tell Sean Hannity: We’ll “Stay Out Of Any GOP Primary Race That Involves Incumbents”…

Last night Sean Hannity interviewed Rand Paul and Ted Cruz together on his 10pm Fox show.   The discussion included points of contrast between conservative principles and establishment Republican positions.

However, the very last question put to both of them was whether or not they will help up and coming conservatives with endorsements or support in the GOP primary races?

Rand Paul said: “I will stay out of any race that involves an incumbent“.   Looking toward Paul, Ted Cruz responded: “I’ll likely do the same“.

Treehouse Prediction – If Mitch McConnell Loses In Kentucky Primary Race, House Speaker John Boehner Will Retire…

A recent article at The Hill talks about the possibility of Eric Cantor seeking Speaker of The House position in 2014.    We believe the possibility of the determination will actually be made in May of this year based on one single election not that far away from Ohio.

If Matt Bevin can successfully remove Mitch McConnell from the Decepticon ranks one of the shockwaves will be the ground quaking under the other chamber’s leadership.

Boehner - Cantor- McCarthy - House-GOP-leaders-FYI – The Speaker of the House does not need to be a politician.   Nor does The Speaker need to be an elected member of the House.   By constitutional framework the House Speaker can be anyone, any U.S. Citizen.

I would suggest Mark Levin should be the next House Speaker.

WASHINGTON DC – Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has cleared the way for Eric Cantor (R-Va.) to succeed John Boehner as the next Speaker.

Ryan this week said he’s not interested in becoming Speaker, preferring to head the influential Ways and Means Committee in 2015. Boehner has repeatedly said he’s not retiring at the end of this Congress, but that hasn’t tamped down speculation that the Ohio Republican is considering retirement.

The Hill recently surveyed dozens of Republicans in the House and the consensus was that the only lawmaker who could defeat Cantor is Ryan. (more…)

Expected GOP Immigration Reform Creates Angst – We Answer The “Why Now” Question…

Jim Hoft at GateWayPundit asks:

Democrats are hemorhaging over Obamacare and the destruction of the US health care system. One-sixth of the economy is affected and millions of Americans were repeatedly lied to by Democrats in order to get the law passed. So what do Republican leaders plan to do this year? Pass amnesty.

Boehner with GOP Leadership

On its face it does seem ridiculous.   However, there really is a good reason for The Republican Party to approach it.   Notice it’s the “Republican Party Leadership” doing this push -meaning, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell- not the rank and file.

“There is definitely a growing mood of confusion and aggravation among conservatives in the House over the immigration issue right now,” one House GOP aide said in an email to Breitbart News, adding that many on the right find the “political logic” of riling up the party’s base so close to a low-turnout midterm election baffling.  “Do we really want to just give up the midterms like this?” the aide asked.   (via Breitbart link)

Here’s what’s going on. (more…)
