Defending Hillary At All Costs Creates New Lows For Journalism….

At first hitch last night I thought this was some weird parody; however, after visiting WFB today we note unfortunately, it’s not.

A randomly innocuous, comfortably invisible, woman in the Dallas area wrote on her Facebook page an opinion that “A Female Shouldn’t Be President”.

Dallas screen grab

Now, it is important to reiterate here the Facebook writer is just, well, no-one really.  Just your average woman going about her life and sharing an opinion on Facebook with her friends and family.

What happens next really exemplifies how low journalism in this era has become.  A CBS outlet sent a reporter to track down the woman and shove a questioning camera in her face.  (more…)

Marco Rubio Announces Presidential Bid….

Florida Senator Marco Rubio has announced his official entry into the 2016 Presidential race.

Miami (CNN)—Sen. Marco Rubio cast himself as the forward-looking candidate to lead the nation toward a new American century when he announced his presidential bid Monday, framing the election as a “generational choice” for Americans.

Marco Rubio - enters race

“Grounded by the lessons of our history, but inspired by the promise of our future, I announce my candidacy for President of the United States of America,” Rubio told supporters at Miami’s Freedom Tower.

Rubio’s candidacy will lean heavily on his personal story as the son of Cuban immigrants and argue that the American Dream seems unattainable for many because “too many of our leaders and their ideas are stuck in the twentieth century.”

“My candidacy might seem improbable to some watching from abroad,” Rubio said. “In many countries, the highest office in the land is reserved for the rich and powerful. But I live in an exceptional country, I live in an exceptional country, where even the son of a bartender and a maid can have the same dreams and the same future as those who come from power and privilege.” (more…)

That Didn’t Take Long – NY Mayor De Blasio Doesn’t Endorse Hillary Clinton – Immediate Threats Toward Him From Team Hillary…

The tone of the same old Hillary Clinton political outlook did not take long to surface. Today on Meet The Press New York Mayor Deblasio was given an opportunity to endorse Hillary 2016. De Blasio said he would not yet endorse her:

Hillary Clinton Will Announce Today…

Hillary clinton shoe duck 2NEW YORK […] She’s been on the national stage for a quarter-century, though because of all the drama, it feels like we’ve lived through several lifetimes with her. Along the way, she’s reinvented herself more often than Madonna. While the spectacle of an aging hoofer trying to keep up with the kids is riveting, the kicks aren’t what they used to be and the odor of desperation is unavoidable.

A presidential campaign headquarters in hipster Brooklyn — really? Announcing on Twitter — really? As Joan Rivers might have advised, Oh, Grow Up!

The sweaty effort to appear fresh reinforces the suspicion that Hillary senses danger in the argument that she’s awfully close to her expiration date. It’s not merely a matter of age, though she will be 69 come next Inauguration Day, which would put her close to Ronald Reagan’s record.

The real issue is Clinton fatigue, a national exhaustion from having been-there-done-that too many times. Her husband’s popularity counts for something, but she’s already milked that cow dry.  (read more)

Why Is Hillary Running For President ? Ready For Hillary Super Pac Not Sure Either…

The undertone message in this interview response seems to be that a bunch of Über radical feminists want her to run because of her gender.

Laughable Bias – Liberal Media Meet At Podesta Home For Pro Clinton Strategy Session…

New York Times, Washington Post, HuffPo, Politico, WSJ, AP, Bloomberg Reuters and McClatchy reporters gather at Washington DC home of John “Skippy” Podesta to begin construction of media narrative for Clinton 2016 Presidential bid. That media bias question? Nah, nothing to see here, move along, move along….

Podesta and ClintonNEW YORK — Hillary Clinton’s campaign team held an off-the-record dinner Thursday night in Washington, D.C., for roughly two dozen journalists and staff members at John Podesta’s house, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The dinner signals that the Clinton team is trying to engage with top reporters in the days before the Democrat’s expected announcement of a 2016 presidential run. It also suggests the new campaign team is looking to change course from the toxic relationship with the press that plagued the 2008 race.

Podesta, the campaign chairman and a seasoned cook, made a pasta with walnut sauce for the dinner guests, which included reporters from The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico, The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, Bloomberg, McClatchy, Reuters and several major TV networks. Disconnected Media – John Hinderaker (Powerline Blog) Makes The Point Using NYT…

Powerline Blog makes the point we find ourselves drawing repeated attention to.

By now everyone is familiar with the media narrative claiming the Republican party is shrinking. According to the talking points – conservative beliefs are now only held by a narrow party of old white people and no longer relevant.

congressional map 2014

However, just because our side sucks at pointing out the obvious, *cough* SEE MAP *cough*, doesn’t mean the obvious is not evident or correct; we just don’t have good candidates and pundits that can highlight the obvious and talk about it.

However, we do have great grassroots advocates who know how to assemble the truth and make splodey heads.  Good people like John Hinderaker can highlight it – READ HERE

Rand Paul and Ted Cruz – Is it Stupidity, Naiveté or Selfishness?…

If you look at this picture taken during the 2013 non-shutdown government shutdown, you might think Utah Senator Mike Lee and Texas Senator Ted Cruz are two conservatives of a similar mindset – each willing to support the other.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee lg

However, if you forward the time machine a few months later you’ll find another optic.

This time it’s early 2014 and Senator Rand Paul and Senator Ted Cruz are discussing the pre-mid-term State of the Union with a rather alarming message.  Neither one of them was going to offer support to any non incumbent GOP challenger in primary races. (more…)
