A short interview with The Wall Street Journal via Monica Langley:
For those who were not reading in October when we shared: “Candidate Marco Rubio Gains an Additional Master“, you might want to refresh; because much of what was covered in that Halloween 2015 review is now coming to pass.

Vetting a candidate is a process of deep research into the history, activity, associations, affiliations and prior background of a political candidate. Marco Rubio is the least publicly vetted candidate in the race, and there’s a very good reason for that.
Whenever the media are not deep into a GOP candidate’s background, it’s generally because the information therein holds more value for their ideological use at a later date.

Modern political vetting is done by private entities, private investigative teams, generally outside the official campaign administration of opponents. That type of research is called opposition research, or “Oppo-research”. (more…)
This has definitely been on of the most interesting election cycles in the past 40 years, and it’s no where close to being over yet. However, once this primary is decided, it would be great to discover who thought combining Glenn Beck with Ted Cruz would be a good thing.

However, additionally worth noting is the under representation of several electorate flags (ex. cell phone users) which would add confidence the impression that even with these results, the size of Donald Trump’s support is understated.
This baseline polling probability is enhanced when you review the Margin-of-Error for the sub-groups. Obviously, all of this is exceptional news for Donald Trump with a week left before Iowa caucuses… (more…)

Most of you knew this was going to be a wild ride. Heck, many knew back in June 2015 when candidate Donald Trump entered the race this was going to be unlike anything we’d ever seen. Boy howdy, was that ever an understatement
Going all the way back to the spring of 2014 those who didn’t fall into the emotional chasm, which surrounds candidate advocacy, saw the makings of a really strange situation possible. Today many of those possibilities are now front and center.
In Iowa…. candidate Ted Cruz takes to the stage next to Glenn Beck to accept a quickly structured endorsement to stem the electoral collapse. If pictures are worth a thousand words, the look on Senator Cruz’s face is, well, priceless:

And really, who can blame him….. poor Ted eh’?
After all, the endorsement comes from a man who uses a radio and media platform to continually decry “identity politics” yet uses the event to proclaim his anointed candidate based on what else, ethnic identity: (more…)
