In addition to the intense disinformation campaign from corporate media, the disinfecting sunlight from visible alliances is now exposing the entire DC-based UniParty political apparatus.

As apoplectic Paul Ryan supporting ‘conservatives’ gathered today to discuss how to protect the right side penthouse suites of the UniParty, the left-side residents have agreed to support the unified endeavors.

Erick Erickson, famous for his “Jeb Bush is the most conservative governor in history” comment, leads the charge to support Cruz from the right-wing punditry of the UniParty apologists.   The insufferable idiocy of the Erickson wing is best highlighted by reviewing the words in their collective statement as presented after their meeting:

[…]  we intend to keep our options open as to other avenues to oppose Donald Trump.  Our multiple decades of work in the conservative movement for free markets, limited government, national defense, religious liberty, life, and marriage are about ideas, not necessarily parties. (link)

Well, there you have it.  Decades of work for free markets, limited government, etc.  In the proverbial words of Dr. Phil: “How’s that been working out for ya“?  Because it’s been hell on everyone else.

Let me begin by saying I am convinced candidate Donald Trump will get the 1,237 delegates he needs, so this outline could be just an intellectual exercise.  However, last night on Sean Hannity RNC Chairman Reince Priebus discussed the delegate math and state of the GOP race headed toward the presidential nomination.

RNC Chairman Preibus and Speaker of the House Paul Ryan are best friends having grown up in the same town in Wisconsin and attending High School together.  Please focus your  attention to the specific wording he uses @05:34.  Close attention:

[…] “And you want people to at least say, when they walk away, OK they played it straight; that’s what’s really important in this process”…

We pointed out on February 25th the five times (in 24 hours) prior to the Houston CNN debate, including on the stage itself, when Reince Preibus stated emphatically the “presidential candidates were applying to join the party“.  Meaning from the RNC position the party apparatus is external to the presidential candidates, who are trying to join the RNC team by winning the nomination. The most jaw-dropping part of the story that accompanies this ad is the fact the media seem oblivious to what the message is.

Having watched the news cycle today there’s not a single pundit who has identified the intensely brilliant messaging within the 15 second video:

This ad was not just targeted to domestic consumption. This ad was directly distancing Donald Trump from Clinton’s failed and massively botched “Russian Reset“. The message was more for Putin to see than for U.S. media to discuss.

A common response to the shenanigans of the RNC/GOPe from the comments:

Major Chris Dickson USA (Ret):  “I just informed the RNC that after voting for over 46 years as a Republican, having served on Staff for U.S. Senator Dan Coats (R-IN), and having run as a Republican for the General Assembly, immediately following the Indiana primary I am leaving the Republican Party and going Independant. They no longer represent my core values because all they do is “Rubber-Stamp” everything Obama shoves at them!”

That’s exactly what the RNC hope you’ll do.

The goal of the RNC is to drive out those who don’t agree with them so the party remains with a small closed circle of narrow-minded sycophants. Then they close the party election to registered republicans, and you’re permanently locked out.

If you want to be able to effect change, you have to begin thinking of U.S. politics in general, and presidential politics specifically, as an insurgency.

Being part of a political insurgency means you accept the role of eliminating the RNC apparatus you dislike, by taking a more strategic approach and destroying them from the inside. Hence, the Trump approach, and our support for it. (more…)

Despite the John Kasich campaign admitting they did not provide enough signatures to give Kasich legal access to the Pennsylvania primary ballot, the state law only keeps the candidate off the ballot if it is legally challenged.

Previously, team Rubio in Pennsylvania filed such a challenge and Kasich was legally kept off ballot.  Today the Rubio allies withdrew their petition (legal challenge).

As a consequence Ohio Governor John Kasich will be allowed on the PA ballot despite not having met the signature threshold for placement.

Well, if the RNC/GOPe were attempting to keep up pretenses, it appears that’s all gone now.  During a CNBC interview Curly Haugland explains the RNC will select the republican nominee for president and the primary voters are irrelevant and inconsequential peons to be summarily dismissed.

Mr. Haugland is very transparent about it the RNC/GOPe intents; even going so far as to say he doesn’t even know why the RNC go through the process of holding primary elections [@3:26].  (watch video all the way through)

Candidate Donald Trump had an incredible set of victories on Super Tuesday 2.0 with victories in North Carolina, Illinois, Missouri and Florida.  Candidate Donald Trump has now effectively swept the south.

However, the results from Florida, especially Florida, provide an excellent example of the strength of Trump’s coalition and the scope of what’s possible in a general election.

Florida is a melting pot of regional migration from all corners of the U.S.   Indeed, there’s a joke in Florida about how there’s no real home-team sports because the residents are from everywhere else in America, cheering for their old home team.

A native Floridian is a scarce breed, that’s why they’ve historically been called “Florida Crackers“.  Named from the original Florida settlers who used whips to herd cattle and cut through the palmettos and bladed saw-grass, with a resounding “crack” from the knotted end.

Additionally if you were to overlay the size of Florida geographically on a map you’d find it would cover the entire U.S. eastern seaboard from Georgia all the way to New York city.  At over 800 miles tip to stem Florida is a massive state with transplanted residents from all of the other states within the continental republic. Sunlight is The Best Disinfectant

Two days ago – two men, actually two professional antagonists, showed up wearing armbands supposedly ‘spoofing‘ Donald Trump with Nazi comparisons.  However, things were not as they seemed.

The men who wore armbands touting Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump were actually the same pranksters who sported “Settle for Hillary” shirts at a Hillary Clinton event earlier this year.
