This story, today’s headline, and how the Treepers review it, is what makes the Treehouse different – As pointed out by Treeper Woohoowee the House Report is an example of presenting information “as if” the desire of the GOP is to reveal the Truth – It is NOT.   The GOP report completely skips the issues of 9/11, 9/12, 9/13 and 9/14 2012 and instead focuses on the “why did the administration change the narrative” beginning 9/15/12.

The congressional report completely skips the heart of the matter in a politically motivated attempt to rebut a series of known lies, misleading statements, and false claims.  In doing so, the report, and those who wrote it, do a horrid injustice to the quest for TRUTH.

However, we hold no predisposition of avoidance.

A Typical Media Report of the Congressional finding looks like this:  House Republicans have concluded that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was responsible for cutting security at the consulate in Benghazi ahead of last year’s attack there, and that the administration lied about why it downplayed terrorism as the cause of the assault. We call it “his money” because in the world of all things progressive they view wealth, or income, as belonging to the State.   Progressives in a larger sense view wealth as a static amount of available resource, a single pie to be divided – the Scarcity mentality.

Therefore all production value, the income earnings of your labor, actually belongs to the State, and they alone will determine how much of their money you are allowed to receive.  It is, in its most direct sense, the essential tenet of fabial-socialism;  Which is, as you know, the essential ideology of modern progressives (Democrats or Liberals defined).

WASHINGTON – President Obama’s 2014 budget calls for a trillion dollars in new taxes, almost twice as much as previously thought, The Washington Examiner has learned.

“Of the more than $1 trillion in new taxes, about $800 billion is raised through the individual income tax system, about $125 billion comes from new excise taxes — including new taxes on tobacco and financial companies,” a source familiar with the president’s budget explained. “The remainder comes from reverting back to the 2009 estate tax parameters and other miscellaneous tax increases.” […]   (link)

FACT:  The last federal budget actually signed into law took place in September of 2007 for fiscal year 2008.  It was signed by President Bush.

FACT:  Since then, and due to the Democrat party spending objectives, not a single day of the Obama administration has been with any budget restrictions at all.

FACT:  The ‘spend at will’ Democrats had full control of both houses of congress and the White House for Fiscal Years 2009, 2010, 2011 and they never passed a budget.   The Senate never even proposed one, and the Obama budget proposal only got 2 votes in 2011, and -ZERO- votes in 2012. (more…)

(Via Freedomworks)  I am currently in my freshman year of high school and the incidents are happening more frequently and I believe are more severe.  As you can imagine, the ongoing pressure and bullying has been disturbing to me, my friends and my family.

Just before the 2010 Midterm election, I was on the front page of the local newspaper for my political volunteer work and my teachers noticed. One of my seven teachers made it very clear that she dissaproved of my civic engagement. In a period of two months, my Geography teacher frequently would take me aside after school for a few minutes and tell me how stupid, wrong and misguided I was for being Republican. The harassment with this specific teacher got so bad, I had to switch schools halfway through the year.  At this time I was only 12 years old. To my knowledge, this teacher was not disciplined at all for her actions. (more…)

Cairo: Egypt’s prosecutor general on Monday ordered the arrest of five prominent political activists accused of inciting violence against President Mohamed Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood, a step the opposition decried as a reversal for democracy.

The move seemed certain to deepen mistrust in an already polarised political landscape, further complicating Mursi’s efforts to build bridges with his opponents before parliamentary polls the opposition has threatened to boycott.

Those ordered arrested included Ahmed Douma and Alaa Abd El-Fattah, a leading blogger who became a symbol of the uprising that overthrew President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. Also ordered arrested were Karim al-Shaer, Hazem Abdel Azeem and Ahmed al-Sahafi. (more…)

EGYPT – Islamic hard-liners stormed a mosque in suburban Cairo, turning it into torture chamber for Christians who had been demonstrating against the ruling Muslim Brotherhood in the latest case of violent persecution that experts fear will only get worse.

Such stories have become increasingly common as tensions between Egypt’s Muslims and Copts mount, but in the latest case, mosque officials corroborated much of the account and even filed a police report. Demonstrators say they were taken from the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in suburban Cairo to a nearby mosque on Friday and tortured for hours by hard-line militia members.

“They accompanied me to one of the mosques in the area and I discovered the mosque was being used to imprison demonstrators and torture them,” Amir Ayad, a Coptic who has been a vocal protester against the regime, told MidEast Christian News from a hospital bed. (more…)

EGYPT – Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi warned Sunday of taking unspecified measures to “protect the nation” following violent clashes two days earlier between opposition demonstrators and Muslim Brotherhood supporters in Cairo.

“I am president of all Egyptians and I will not allow anyone to tamper with the nation,” President Mursi said in statement posted on Twitter, adding:

“If I am obliged to do what is necessary to protect this nation, I will do, and I fear I am about to do that.”

OHIO – She admitted voting twice in the presidential election last November, and now, Obama supporter Melowese Richardson has been indicted for allegedly voting at least six times. She also is charged with illegal voting in 2008 and 2011.

The 58-year-old veteran Cincinnati poll worker, indicted Monday, faces eight counts of voter fraud. Two others, one of whom is a nun, have been charged separately.

Richardson had admitted on camera to a local TV station, “Yes, I voted twice,” claiming she was concerned that her vote would not count. She also said there “was no intent on my part to commit any voter fraud.” (more…)
