I write this not as a partisan, but as one American who has been engaged in extensive political research for five solid years.   The picture in our current banner is reflective of my feeling right now:  Hands outstretched toward the heavens asking “why”?   Not why did Mitt Romney lose, but why cannot our citizenry see what they just did?

By now most of you know my approach at understanding events, and their surrounding outcomes.  Events that create both intended, and unintended consequences.

That approach is research; pure research to understand the specifics of the circumstances and understand the mindset behind the people within the events being portrayed.

The “why” is more valuable than the “what”.

So I hope you will digest this analysis with the understanding this is not a series of guesses, projections, or predictions.   This is merely assembling the puzzle bits – organizing them, placing them into their logical pattern of connectivity – then standing back and looking at what is factually evident within the assembly. Seriously?   That’s the plan, or, well, the latest version, of, um, well, the newest plan?  A “Secretary of Business”.

THE HILL – President Obama says he would like to establish a “secretary of Business” if he wins a second term.   In an interview with MSNBC, the president said he wants to consolidate a number of business and trade-related agencies, creating a “one-stop shop” for oversight.  (more)

Yeah, right.   Because, well, the Energy Dept has done such a great job of making us “energy independent”; and the Education Department has done such a great job of raising education standards and controlling costs;   and the “Commerce Department” has done such a great job of eliminating market barriers and trade restrictions;  and the “Regulatory Czar” (Cass Sunstein) has done such a great job of eliminating burdensome regulatory restrictions and red-tape.

For those not keeping track, Ayman Al Zawahiri is the #1 al-Qaeda leader (now that Bin Laden is dead) and he is calling all Muslims to help the Syrian “Rebels”.   Yep, it appears the Obama administration is now supporting al-Qaeda….

(Reuters) — Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri has called on Muslims to kidnap Westerners, join Syria’s rebellion and ensure Egypt implements sharia, SITE Monitoring reported, citing a two-part film posted on Islamist websites.

“We are seeking, by the help of Allah, to capture others and to incite Muslims to capture the citizens of the countries that are fighting Muslims in order to release our captives,” he said, praising the kidnapping of Warren Weinstein, a 71-year-old American aid worker in Pakistan last year.  (read more)

[W]hile speaking of trade, the talk turned once again to domestic issues such as education and jobs, with Obama accusing Romney of supporting companies that shipped jobs overseas.

Romney shot back with, “I’m a son of Detroit. I was born in Detroit. My dad was head of a car company. I like American cars. And I would do nothing to hurt the US auto industry.” The candidates got into a verbal sparring match over whether Romney had called for a managed bankruptcy in Detroit or not, with Obama saying, “Let’s check the record” [he was specifically referring to this op-ed]. The Middle East – Let’s cut to the chase so that a broader understanding is possible.

Look at a map of the Middle East:

The first understanding is to know the “Modern West” was accepting of mass migration from N-Africa through Tunisia and Libya into Cyprus, Italy and on to Europe for decades.  This migration was/is the beginning of their substantive multi-cultural issues they are now facing socially and economically.

Long story short…. Eventually Europe wanted the spigot turned off because the “undesirables” were not assimilating correctly and they could not afford the resulting problems.   The ruling fascists in Libya (Gaddafi) and Tunisia (Zine El Abidine Ben Ali) now held “leverage” over Europe.    Quackdaffy and Ben Ali became the gatekeepers.
