(Via Doug Ross Journal) Today’s news tells us that Senator John McCain is going to be stumping for Thad Cochran in Mississippi, in his Senate primary runoff with State Senator Chris McDaniel.
John McCain, Mitch McConnell, Haley Barbour, and Thad Cochran against Sarah Palin, Rick Santorum, Chris McDaniel, The Club For Growth, FreedomWorks, Senate Conservatives, talk radio’s Constitutional Conservative Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and throngs of teenage volunteers.
The Cochran campaign, beleaguered by his own words about doing indecent things to animals, not knowing what happened to Eric Cantor in Virginia, and testaments to nice guy Obama and from Harry Reid, are bringing in more examples of the problem in Washington to fight the liberty message of the people of the State of Mississippi. Despite Mitch McConnell raising a million for them last week; and despite the entire weight of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on their side; the Thad Cochran camp realizes they are about to get crushed next Tuesday, so the Republican establishment hire’s Democrats in an effort to manipulate the election -get Dems to the polls- and avoid defeat.
Tell me again how voting for Allison Grimes is worse than Mitch McConnell ? Go ahead… I’m waiting…
( Via RiehlWorldView ) I know it’s not fun to pick on people for their age. Unfortunately, Thad Cochran’s refusal to let go of power all too long past his prime mitigates my concern in that regard. Sources on the ground in MS tell me the Cochran campaign is looking increasingly cartoonish in trying to eek out a win in what most are coming to realize is a lost cause. So, no, it doesn’t surprise me that Team Cochran would hire a Democrat named “Scooby Doo” to work for him at this point.

A Democratic political operative says he is working with Mississippi Conservatives PAC to drum up votes for U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran.
James “Scooby Doo” Warren said he has put together a get-out-the-vote GOTV plan and is “putting it in place across the whole state.” Warren said he is not working with the Cochran campaign itself but for the PAC and Bishop Ronnie Crudup Sr.
Crudup is the pastor at New Horizon Church, which shares an address and chief financial officer with a newly formed super PAC that ran print advertising in the primary supporting Cochran. (link)
Treepers, it’s important to remember the reality faced within the IRS scandal. It is a painful reality, but one that must be faced.
The Democrats have no concerns with the IRS being used as a tool to crush the grassroots Tea Party, that’s a no brainer. However, it’s also important to remember, as we have continued to outline, there is no basis to think the GOP has any more of an issue with it than the Democrats.
The entire political establishment, who thrive on the status quo, are at risk from grassroots efforts to disrupt their place -and control- at the trough. Pat Caddell outlined this accurately before (watch this video):
The establishment class have goals coordinated by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Tom Donahue. ObamaCare, Amnesty and Common Core are all part of their goals.

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire owner of Bloomberg LP, and Sean Parker, co-founder of Napster, have each contributed $250,000 to Mississippi Conservatives, a super PAC supporting the Mississippi senator in his Republican primary runoff. (more…)
