(CNSNews.com) – The Iranian Christian pastor who was acquitted just  two months ago on charges he converted from Islam to Christianity and  freed from prison has reportedly been re-arrested in Iran.

Sources close to Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, including the British  group Christian Solidarity Worldwide and the American Center for Law and  Justice (ACLJ), say the Iranian Christian pastor was reportedly taken back  into custody on Christmas Day. (more…)

For three days we have shared the story of The Journal News / LoHud.Com and their decision to publish the names, addresses, and contact information of lawful gun owners.  Today they doubled down on stupid;  However, you can sense in the writing of it, they are only just now becoming aware of the potential backlash.  

Here is what they have written today, in response to their initial article, initial decision, and the feedback received so far:  (we inserted some feedback throughout  /SD)

WHITE PLAINS — Thousands of people, many from outside Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties, have taken to their computers and phones in rage after The Journal News posted an online database of local gun permit holders.

The database, legally obtained from the county clerks’ offices through a Freedom of Information Act request made after the shootings in Newtown, Conn., that left 20 children and eight adults dead, has been called irresponsible, dangerous and leaning toward intimidation by several online pundits.

Notice how they insert the affirmative position they have done nothing “illegal”, and then pull into that affirmation the dead victims in Newtown.

Social media played a big part in the exponential spread of the story, whose map has been recommended more than 20,000 times. Two Facebook posts linking to the story on Sunday garnered 346 comments as of this evening. That’s in addition to 167 comments posted directly to Facebook.com/LoHud since the story published. Yesterday we shared an article from a Gannett Publication “The Journal News” located in New York.   Many persons were, and are, outraged this media publication sought to publish the full names, addresses and contact information of lawful registered gun permit owners – essentially handgun owners.

The lead up article is HERE, and their article with interactive mapping is HERE.

The political ideology of the publication is abundantly evident in their articles, and to a larger sense visible within the editorial board who would advance such a decision to publish information.    They hold far-left views.

Their decision to publish the registered gun ownership visibly exemplifies one of the most vocal arguments by Second Amendment advocates who rail against registration.  Namely, f a political decision to confiscate was ever carried out only those who have lawfully abided by registration laws would be subject to confiscation.   But there’s more. There is absolutely no doubt a negative opinion toward Israel is an ideological qualification for any Cabinet Level position within the Obama Administration.    Having Zbignew Brzezinski out front is just further affirmation of this.   Brzezinski has been a part of Obama’s ideological life since the early days at Occidental College, through his Columbia University *cough* mystery thesis, and into the administration as a Senior Foreign Policy Advisor.  (In the picture below Zbignew Brzezinski is the guy with the gun, the bearded guy wearing the beret peering over his shoulder is Osama Bin Laden)

(WFB) As questions swirl around the prospective nomination of Chuck Hagel as President Barack Obama’s next defense secretary, the White House has begun mounting an effort to defend the former Nebraska Senator.

As part of that campaign, Zbigniew Brzezinski appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” early Thursday to push back against charges that Hagel is a poor choice for the job.

Brzezinski told the MSNBC anchor team, which includes his daughter Mika, that Hagel’s “critics, they would like to plunge the U.S. into some new wars, promptly, and not always for U.S. national interest.” (more…)

Saw this report earlier…. according to someone “in the know”, mom was about to commit junior to a facility, and the same source says she volunteered at the School which  junior was jealous of.  *Note I’m not posting pictures of that guy again*

NEWTOWN, Conn. – The gunman who slaughtered 20 children and six adults at a Connecticut elementary school may have snapped because his mother was planning to commit him to a psychiatric facility, according to a lifelong resident of the area who was familiar with the killer’s family and several of the victims’ families.

Adam Lanza, 20, targeted Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown after killing his mother early Friday because he believed she loved the school “more than she loved him,” said Joshua Flashman, 25, who grew up not far from where the shooting took place. Flashman, a U.S. Marine, is the son of a pastor at an area church where many of the victims’ families worship. (more…)

(Reuters) – Unburdened by re-election worries and empowered by law to act without Congress, U.S. President Barack Obama could will take action to “improve” background checks on gun buyers, ban certain gun imports and bolster oversight of dealers.

Prospects for gun control legislation intensified in the wake of the school massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, as more pro-gun rights lawmakers said on Monday they were open to the possibility while Obama and three cabinet members met at the White House to discuss the subject.

Having just won a second four-year term, Obama does not need to fear alienating voters who favor gun rights and he could press ahead without lawmakers on fronts where federal law enables executive action.

Speaking in Newtown, where a gunman on Friday killed 20 children and six adults in an elementary school, Obama vowed late on Sunday to “use whatever power this office holds” to try to prevent such massacres.  “Because what choice do we have? We can’t accept events like this as routine,” Obama said at Newtown High School.

His administration has the power to issue executive orders or new rules, options that Obama is likely to consider in combination with possible new laws. […] (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – A bill to restrict the use and sale of weapons like the high-powered Bushmaster .223 that coroners said had killed many of the children at Sandy Hook, would be introduced in the next session of the US Congress, promised senior Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein “It will ban the sale, the transfer, the importation and the possession. Not retroactively but prospectively. And it will ban the same for big clips, drums or strips of more than 10 bullets,” she told NBC News, adding that she expected Mr Obama to support the bill.

The move – which would essentially revive the Bill Clinton-era assault weapons that was allowed to lapse in 2004 – is expected to be highly controversial with the powerful gun lobby and politicians whose constituents cling fiercely to their Second Amendment gun rights. (more…)

The net is flooding with conspiracy theory about this shooting.   Most of them are total bunk.  However there are major issues with the initial, and evolved reports; and indeed something is not passing the sniff test for me either.   One website has begun collecting a list of all the discrepancies (here).   

We are going to thin it down to the pertinent ones; can you think of any to add to the list?  Starting with…. why the pictures of a 20 year old shooter as a child?   Where’s the recent pics? 

1.)  According to the official story, Adam Lanza was found with his older brother’s ID, and it was not stolen. However, older brother Ryan–who officials say is very cooperative–claims not to have even seen his brother since 2010. Where would Adam get this ID?

2.) According to the official story, Adam Lanza was wearing a black outfit with a mask and bulletproof vest. Why would he want to hide his identity, and why would he wear a bulletproof vest, if he planned to kill himself? (more…)
