FACT:  Eric Holder approved and affirmed a phone records subpoena claiming Fox News journalist, James Rosen, was an unindicted co-conspirator to domestic terrorism charges.  He then went judge shopping to get the subpoenas validated;  two judges said NO, the 3rd agreed to approve.   Holder said after reading about it in the Washington Post he regrets doing it.  

However, prior to that coming out,  on May 15th Holder went before congress and said:

“with regard to potential prosecution of the press for disclosure of material, that is not something that I have ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be a wise policy.”

A flat out lie.  No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it.   He was “involved in”;  He had “heard of”; and he did “think it was a wise policy”;  After all, he approved it.

But according to the White House, Holder was being truthful. (more…)

Trayvon was 17, smoked dope, sold drugs, drank “lean” drug cocktail with frequency, burglarized homes, video’s himself and peeps beating homeless guy, bought sold guns, participated in organized MMA street fights, kicked out of school three times, kicked out of his Mom’s house, no parental supervision, and put on bus – sent to Sanford FL with a rolled up baggie of marijuana stuffed between his butt cheeks.

Now that he’s been shot and killed, his family attorney, Benjamin Crump, says shooter trial is “the civil rights case of the century” – while playing the “race-card” 24/7……

Well it appears we now have TWO people in the media asking the “right” question.  Last week Chris Wallace, now Charles Krauthammer:

“I think there is a bigger story here that will in time come out. The biggest scandal of all, the biggest question is what was the president doing in those eight hours. He had a routine meeting at five o’clock. He never after during the eight hours when our guys have their lives in danger, he never called the Secretary of Defense, he never calls the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he never called the CIA Director, Who does he call? But five hours in he calls the Secretary of State. And after the phone call she releases a statement essentially about the video and how we denounce any intolerance. It looks as if the only phone call is to construct a cover story at a time when the last two Americans who died were still alive and fighting for their lives. Hazmat crews are on the scene of a CSX cargo train derailment near Baltimore, Maryland, just outside of the nation’s capital.  Witnesses reported an explosion and several buildings in the immediate area collapsed.

BALTIMORE — One person was injured in a train derailment and explosion in Baltimore  County that sparked a fire, sent shock waves throughout the region and caused  precautionary evacuations.

Baltimore County fire  officials said a CSX train derailed in the area of the 7500 block of Lake Drive  near 66th Street in Rosedale at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday after it collided with a  truck. (more…)

Last month we brought you the story of John Heinz Kerry’s new strategy for diplomacy.  {It was part of our “stuck on stupid” series}  In essence Ketchup Boy’s primary strategy is to put Western Businesses in the Middle East, subsidize their efforts, and hope that the jihadists will take off their suicide vests in favor of picking up a spatula (taking a job).  

At the time Kerry said:

“[W]e’re not going to solve this challenge of terror and of extremism and of people finding an alternative if we’re not reaching out to people, talking to them, bringing them to the table and trying to work through major, perceived differences,”

[…]  “I believe we have to create a new paradigm, frankly, to deal with this.”

[…]  He repeated that the new paradigm combines economic diplomacy with “significant diplomatic outreach.”

Et tu Bobte’ ….. You know things are seriously headed in the wrong direction for the Modern Liberal Establishment when even CBS’s Bob Schieffer stands aghast:

Schieffer probably runs up there in the stratospheric water-carrying media close to the same level of Mr. Tingles (Chris Matthews). So when you see propagandist sympathizers like him begin to doubt Dear Leader, you know trouble exists.

This is really an epic display of prog-logic. I’m generally neutral on Juan Williams because he’s a centrist about 25% of the time. But sometimes his liberalism needle just gets fundamentally stuck-on-stupid. This is one of those times.

Watch how Williams spins the framework of Attorney Eric Holder approving and authorizing the direct Rosen subpoena. The non-judicially reviewed subpoena targeted all of Fox news reporter, James Rosen’s business phone, personal phone, email, and phone records of his entire geographic family including his parents, under the auspices of Rosen being an unindicted co-conspirator to criminal activity; The charge: Domestic Terrorism.

Yet here’s Juan Williams on one hand saying the charges are ridiculous – and obviously done to target a journalist under the most horrible of intentions – yet on the other hand saying it’s really not Eric Holder’s issue, and Holder can/should investigate himself.

*Note* Holder approved of the filing by the Asst Attorney General;  He approved of the charge, the content, and the scope of the investigation.   Holder signed off on the affidavit authorizing it.    Hello?….. Holder already approved the aspects Williams is saying Holder should investigate….
