According to the NY Post, NPR has cancelled its racial issues  show “Tell Me More” due to lack of interest and any real audience or meaningful corporate sponsorship. (!)

The show, which ran on the taxpayer subsidized radio network for seven years (As an aside, can you think of any other event that happened, oh, about seven years ago, coincidentally timed to the launch of a radio show based on lecturing/hectoring white people about “race” that may have had some influence over an organization that depends upon generous federal government financial support for survival? Remember to write your answer in the form of a question!)

“Tell Me More”,  produced at the NPR headquarters in Washington, D.C.  was a production of NPR News in association with the African American Public Radio Consortium, representing 20 independent public radio stations that serve predominantly black communities.  (more…)

At a meeting held in New Hampshire to address parent’s unhappiness and push back against the “Common Core” curriculum, the meeting opened with a “moderator” setting the stage for the idea that parents who oppose “Common Core” have a hidden (racist) agenda and their concerns about Common Core are unfounded, unreasonable and worthy of dismissal:

“Every teacher that’s using it, is basically saying, this is inspiring …people who are actually using it, like it, again, in terms of local control, you still have local control, if you want higher standards, if that is your genuine point (emphasis mine), then you can go ahead and do the higher standards and the process was indeed entirely transparent…

A teacher who drafted the standards starts to speak:

“I’m not being paid to be here, either. I’m just a teacher who helped write the standards.  And the reason I helped write the standards, and why I am here today, is that I as a white male in society, I am given a lot of privilege that I didn’t earn.

(Via Ladar Levison) My legal saga started last summer with a knock at the door, behind which stood two federal agents ready to to serve me with a court order requiring the installation of surveillance equipment on my company’s network.

My company, Lavabit, provided email services to 410,000 people – including Edward Snowden, according to news reports – and thrived by offering features specifically designed to protect the privacy and security of its customers.

I had no choice but to consent to the installation of their device, which would hand the US government access to all of the messages – to and from all of my customers – as they travelled between their email accounts other providers on the Internet.

But that wasn’t enough. The federal agents then claimed that their court order required me to surrender my company’s private encryption keys, and I balked. What they said they needed were customer passwords – which were sent securely – so that they could access the plain-text versions of messages from customers using my company’s encrypted storage feature. COLORADO – Greg Stoneburner, a senior who just graduated from Central High School in Grand Junction, Colo., said he was told in no uncertain terms that he was no longer welcome at the school after raising a Gadsden flag on the school’s flagpole. Moreover, he told Examiner.com in an exclusive interview Friday, the principal withheld his flag and his diploma until after his graduation walk.

The incident, he said on Facebook, took place on May 9. That’s when he replaced the school’s flag with the yellow “Don’t Tread On Me” banner often associated with the Tea Party as a senior prank. He also posted a paper to the pole that told the history of the flag.

The prank didn’t sit too well with Jodie Diers, the principal of Central High School, who was livid over the prank. Other students, Stoneburner told Examiner, claimed she was angrily yelling to have the flag pulled down when she first saw it. According to Stoneburner, she pulled him out of a scholarship breakfast and told him and his parents the flag was a “slap in the face” to the school. She then said he was “not welcome” at Central High. (more…)

How ironic that the persecutors this time around are the so-called intellectuals. They claim to be liberal while behaving as anything but. The touchstone of liberalism is tolerance of differing ideas. Yet this mob exists to enforce conformity of thought and to delegitimize any dissent from its sanctioned worldview. Intolerance is its calling card.

Each week seems to bring another incident. Last week it was David and Jason Benham, whose pending HGTV show was canceled after the mob unearthed old remarks the brothers made about their Christian beliefs on homosexuality. People can’t have a house-flipping show unless they believe and say the “right” things in their life off the set? In this world, the conservative Tom Selleck never would have been Magnum, P.I. President Obama proclaimed there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups.   The truth begs to differ…. in a very substantial way.

Last week (May 9th) the IRS finally agreed to send the House Ways and Means Committee all of the Lois Lerner emails.   Now we know why.    Yesterday, as a result of a lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch the IRS was forced to turn over those emails.   It should be noted, the scope of the emails turned over by court order to Judicial Watch are far more extensive than the IRS turned over to the House Investigating Committee.

Previously in April, the House Ways and Means Committee sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder requesting a criminal charge against Lois Lerner.  The newly released documents provide even more evidence that warrant DOJ action.

Released by Judicial Watch – (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released a new batch of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) documents revealing that its handling of Tea Party applications was directed out of the agency’s headquarters in Washington, DC.  The documents also show extensive pressure on the IRS by Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) to shut down conservative-leaning tax-exempt organizations.

The IRS’ emails by Lois Lerner detail her misleading explanations to investigators about the targeting of Tea Party organizations.

The documents came in response to an October 2013 Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed after the agency refused to respond to four FOIA requests dating back to May 2013 (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Internal Revenue Service (No. 1:13-cv-01559)).

One key email string from July 2012 confirms that IRS Tea Party scrutiny was directed from Washington, DC. On July 6, 2010, Holly Paz (the former Director of the IRS Rulings and Agreements Division and current Manager of Exempt Organizations Guidance) asks IRS lawyer Steven Grodnitzky “to let Cindy and Sharon know how we have been handling Tea Party applications in the last few months.”  Cindy Thomas is the former director of the IRS Exempt Organizations office in Cincinnati and Sharon Camarillo was a Senior Manager in their Los Angeles office. Previously the Metro Police said they were going to open investigations into the militia members who rallied to aid Cliven Bundy.    Now, it appears the FBI is opening an investigation to identify the same….  

Consider it the “No Cry” list !   A list of patriots who refused to back down.

NEVADA – Clark County sheriff’s officials say they’ve been interviewed by the FBI as part of an investigation into armed supporters of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy.

Assistant Sheriff Joe Lombardo told KLAS-TV that federal agents have opened an investigation into the conduct of supporters of Bundy who reportedly pointed guns at officers during a standoff at his ranch April 12. (more…)

Her recent claims to fame come under the nom de plume of V Stiviano, the “Silly Rabbit” who set up billionaire idiot Donald Sterling.   Apparently at the same time she first met her mark, 2010, she changed her race from “Hispanic” to “black” on arrest records.   

Her most recent public appearances resemble promotional PR around hiring incentives for minority arc welders.    

(Via TMZ)  V. Stiviano is under criminal investigation for allegedly extorting Donald Sterling by demanding money in return for keeping more audio recordings secret … TMZ Sports has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a senior investigator for the L.A. County D.A.’s Bureau of Investigation contacted Shelly Sterling Tuesday … asking for an interview in connection with the extortion investigation.

Donald Sterling gave an interview last week … telling a magazine, “I wish I had just paid her off.”  TMZ Sports first reported … Stiviano claims to have 100 plus hours of recordings of conversations between her and Sterling.

Stiviano’s people told us a week ago … Sterling called her after we posted the audio … asking her, “How can we make this go away?”  We have since learned it was NOT Sterling who initiated the call — it was Stiviano.

Many observers speculated at the time the FEDS could not allow the appearance of the Militia to be the public impression of their decision not to follow through with the Bundy Roundup in Nevada.     

Several issues were concerning.    1.) The “Oath Keepers” within the police department were openly exposed as frauds, and to-a-man willing to go along with the federal agents.  2.) The appearance of the armed Militia groups instantly became a risk to the power of the armed federal agencies and “for hire” contractors who are used to unlimited hostile action against citizens without consequence.

Now This…. [Assistant Sheriff Joe] […]   Lombardo confirms that Metro developed a lot of intelligence about militia members who were present. Those who aimed their guns at officers will be dealt with.

“Yes, there will be consequences, definitely. That is unacceptable behavior. If we let it go, it will continue into the future,” Lombardo said.

Law enforcement sources told us that federal officials are preparing to move against Cliven Bundy, but they might wait months until things die down before making their move.

Metro Police could take separate action in response to the provocations they experienced in Bunkerville and may be working to identify particular suspects.  (full article)
