Interestingly, as expected, the various social media platforms and internet connectivity therein are sketchy and intermittent as the critical USA midterm election nears.
As we have done in the past, today we solicit reader feedback on the sentiment in/around your area as the midterm election nears. What is your local sense of the tone, voter intent, enthusiasm or lack therein, in the last 72 hours before election day on Tuesday.
This request comes with a very important and specific qualifier, DO NOT USE social media to gauge or report your sense of where things stand. The reasoning is simple; the algorithm you are exposed to is not necessarily the reality of your environment. The information being fed into the data system that holds your specific attributes, is purchased and created specifically to provide you a specific sense.
Whether you realize it or not, your algorithm is the culmination of specific identifiable definitions of your personage and your interests. That algorithm id may or may not represent you, but it is sold and used in order to influence your decision-making on a variety of aspects from commerce (purchasing decisions) to behavioral modification (influences).
As a consequence, the best view of the reality in your vicinity is what you personally experience in real life, not during your travels on the internet. With that thought in mind, what is your sense of the voting intent in/around your proximity?
From my own travels what I can identify with ease is the promoted narrative about abundant enthusiasm for leftist candidates is mostly false. I cannot identify any substantive enthusiasm to vote for the communist agenda of the Democrat Socialists or any other manufactured policy of the political left in real life.
Sure, online and in the media, there is a specific pipeline of information operating at maximum output to promote a blue wave premise. However, in real life -during my travels- I do not see that same level of enthusiasm claimed by oppositional advocates.
To the contrary, the datapoints and behavior of the political left indicate they are ‘trying’ to generate the illusion of something, as well as create some self-fulfilling prophecies. The appearances of President Obama in Detroit on behalf of Al-Sayed is an example. Obama is only deployed to get out the black vote. If the Muslim Brotherhood candidate was ahead in Michigan, Obama simply wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, the proverbial lawn sign indicators do not lend favor to a blue wave narrative.
That said, Georgia and Texas will be interesting to watch play out. Both of those states have been targeted by the various BLM, and DSA level operatives for several years. However, while they have succeeded in Georgia, they have not had a similar success in Texas – despite the lone star state being specifically vulnerable due to the Bush camp’s comfort with the larger socialist cause.
President Trump, DHS, ICE, DOJ and HSI have done all they can to trigger fear amid the professional population of election operatives who deploy fraudulent ballot operations as part of their electoral strategy. The Lawfare alliance has been spending billions to counteract this election integrity operation. It is yet to be determined which one will ultimately end up tipping the scale amid the various illegal voter systems.
What we can judge with some accuracy is the sense in our vicinity. What is the intent of our family? What do our neighbors say? What is the sense within our local community? These are measures of real sentiments that can be adequately assembled to provide a larger predictive sense.
Taking the social media network and subsequent algorithmic feed out of the equation, what is the reality of the sentiment in your area as best it can be judged?

Leftists in Panhandle are adding USA flags to campaign signs. I wish “they” who put weight behind Donalds would have looked further. Glad to see Mr Personality, DeSantis, get out of Tally. He contributed to many current issues.
Lee County has 45.5% Early Voting turnout of Registered Voters.
3 to 1 Republican at this moment.
Momentum is fierce here. I worked early voting for 6 days and work the General Election on Tuesday. Every day we have had increased voter turn out.
Democrate 59,691 – Registered to vote 110,383
Republican 115, 440 – Registered to vote 251,608
No Party Aff. 46,114 – Combined with other Registered 146, 319
Other 6,101
I think November 3rd will be a busy day. We have a governor race and 3 amendments on the Ballot that are bringing the voters out this Midterm.
Democrats are not smiling
Republicans are Smiling, high spirits and optimistic
The Crazed Creature the D’s are running for senate is quite the charmer. /s
Martin county as the norm is solid red.
For the 2024 General Election in Lee County, 163,266 voters cast their ballots during the early voting period (October 21 – November 2, 2024), which accounted for 41.08% of the total 397,437 votes cast. Trump won the county with 64% of the vote.
That 2026 early turnout is massive. That is over 40% more than in the presidential election year. If this can be replicated throughout the country, the Dems, fake media, and fake pollsters are in for a big surprise.
Tomorrow Brett Baier will call all the races for the Dems.
Sometime Wednesday the 2028 ads will start.
Southern New Castle County Delaware. Lots of signs for both Repub. & Dem candidates all over the roads. Have not seen any signs in front of homes, unlike 2024. I especially like the signs the Republican candidate for US Senate Mike Katz has put up: “Fire Chris Coons!”. I am hopeful, but Chris Coons has a lot of money backing his current run. I will be voting straight R on Tuesday. Praying for all the R candidates in the country.
Hi Guys:
I am in S/E Texas. About 35 miles West and a little south of the center of Houston. My little city (about3500) calls itself a 2nd Amendment City. It is mostly Hispanic and Black in population. I am white. Every now and then I see a Hinojosa or Talarico sign, but it is mostly Abbott and Paxton here. Houston is as BLUE as blue cities get. The current Mayor is actually pretty reasonable and strongly believes in Law Enforcement.
Here in Carroll County, MD, we had over 10,000 early voters (big jump) and we are traditionally a red county. However, we, like so many others, have been invaded. Most aren’t happy with Gov Moore and the dumocrat’s attempt to ‘stop Trump’ with a constitutional amendment to go bat-crap crazy drawing congressional districts.
Trump did much better in MD than expected. His call to vote is resonating. Those in line with me were of the same mind-set and had no problem expressing it.
I believe God is hearing our prayers.
I work across 3 states… .. Low energy, no enthusiasm, many repubs sitting this one out *to teach the repubs a lesson* because of cost of living and no arrests of establishment crooks.
They are seemlngly pissed about costs, no arrests, election integrity wasnt fixed, fraud is rampant…. on and on. Several dont care anymore and are just *waiting for the Lord to come back.*
I told them that there will be plenty of arrests once the dems get back in charge but of our side. They dont blame Trump but are pissed at the system.
Please dont shoot the messenger. I have ran into people still wanting to fight but they are in the vast minority.
Would those 3 states be NY, NJ and CT, lol?
Darlene “vote for me, I’m Lindsay’s sister” Graham may be in trouble in SC. Dems are dumping big $$ into chameleon “Dr.” Andrews. And there are many who actually are that stupid.
Democrat stranglehold state- It is really quiet where I live. There are very few yard signs in people’s front yards. I have noticed a few more American flags in the neighborhood. The shopping centers are busy and gas has dropped signifyingly. Even when the gas prices were at their highest of $4.69 traffic wasn’t any less than it is now. Most of the people I know and myself included can’t wait for this election to be over.
In Central Mississippi, they are flooding social media with ads for Scott Colom, some of the worst attack ads and absolutely no reason to vote for him. And a lot of shenanigans going on voter wise too, I had to reregister as I moved a few years ago and although I registered in time, I haven’t received my card. I was able to look it up online and found out that they have my address wrong, funny that, even though I sent in a voter registration form and it was filled in via PDF file. It could be a simple entry error, but now days I trust no one. I don’t care for Cindy Hyde-Smith, she’s a product of the RINO establishment, but I hold my nose and vote for her for impeachment insurance for President Trump.
Nevada, as of October 1, 2026 has 2,506,232 registered voters out of a population of 3,310,833 people and the State mailed out 2,091,418 ballots (the others, like myself, opted-out of receiving mail-in ballots) and of those the State has so far, as of Friday, October 30,
received 430,626 mail-in ballots returned of which only 423,821 have been accepted (the 5, 532 have to be cured) and so far
in-person voting Statewide is 43,296 people.
The mail-in ballots have to be post-marked (not mailed, but actually dated by the post office) November 2 and must be received by Friday, November 6 or they will not be counted.
Local news and TV ads actually told people that after a certain day last week to not mail their ballots but to bring them into a polling location otherwise they might not meet that date-stamp deadline. That was good to see.
The registration of voters as of Friday were
Democrat 678,600
Republican 660,470
Independent American Party 102,673
Libertarian 18,017
Non-partisan 1,006,232
‘Other’ 40,240
It’s going to come down to if those non-partisans (who usually have always leaned voting Democrat) decide to vote for the Republican party or will they fall back on old habits and just vote what they have always done.
Tomorrow we go set up the polling location for Tuesday and I am assigned to date stamp those who will use their mail-in ballot but get it date-stamped Tuesday and dropped in the box there at the polling location. The local polling places have had good steady streams of senior citizens coming in to vote so it will be interesting to see if the in-person voting vs ballot drop-off voting will be the deciding factor; but really out of over 2 miliion ballots mailed and not even 1/4 of those being returned is saying sometihing about what Nevadans think about using the post office to vote, which is a good sign. Hoping for a busy, no drama in person voting Tuesdays for everyone !
Two encouraging signs, during poll worker training there were younger, college age kids being trained. In all previous years it was us retired folk working the polls. The other is there is also a lot of the young Turning Point people door knocking to get out the vote. That is also a first, so nice to see.
In church today, we had a 15-20 minute pep talk at the end of the service referencing Christians and voting.
Here is my personal take on the matter after hearing the message:
Out in Pensacola Fl, places are busy lines for any restaurant, stores crowded, records set for Halloween spending, (but all social media says cost of gas and Iran war are deal breakers.) As you say Sundance, I ignore social media, voted and pray for the best outcome because our future is at stake. I follow captain Seth Keshel for the reality on the ground for midterms along with you Sundance
Lots of talk about voting in the mostly Red suburbs east of Memphis. I live in a bit of a bubble, but my sense of it is that conservative voters around here know what awaits them if the Dems take over.
The Honest Poll by the guy who ran Rasmussen didn’t have good things to say. I’m not having a good feeling but I know people who will vote Rep in person.
Not many signs of anyone outside the campaign tents or highway ramps… maybe I’m not venturing out too much… in blue Broward.
I am in CO and while I have my doubts in the statewide elections, I know we will hold our county red again. I think we might get a few ballot measures passed for our kids but otherwise people are exhausted with what’s happened here. Praying for the nation and for our president. I believe we will keep the house and senate. I am a grassroots activist and pray people are awake.
We early voted on Friday afternoon . For that polling station, there was a line taking 40 minutes, not too unusual for the 2nd to last day of early voting. My area is primarily D’s, in NC.
I’m in a red area. (SW Virginia.) Not a lot of political activity, but dems are definitely winning the yard sign battle. Almost zero signs for republicans. Right leaning / conservative folks I talk to are somewhere on the spectrum of bewildered / betrayed by the Trump’s second term. “This isn’t what I voted for” is the common sentiment.
Not saying they’ll stay home or switch sides (although red hats famously don’t show when he’s not on the ballot), but there’s very little pro-Republican energy. The Dems I talk to are really mouthy and they vomit up their political opinions seemingly with the assumption everyone agrees with them.
There’s probably a lot of underlying issues but Iran is the big one. And Trump just being Trump. When you make a Faustian bargain, you at least hope to get what you were promised.
