This afternoon, President Trump announced via Truth Social that he is banning CNN, MSNOW and Politico from the White House press pool.
(Via Truth Social) – “I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive.” Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant “reporting” FAKE NEWS! Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America. The DC Circuit Court of Appeals has already shot down the injunction placed on Trump for removing the AP from the Oval Office. Air Force One, and Mar-a-Lago. The only place that the AP can go is the East Room.
So any preliminary injunction on this placed by an activist district court judge will be quickly appealed and meet the same fate under the same Circuit court.
Lets see if by the end of business on Monday a lawfare judge says you can not do that.
The proper response should be, “your courtroom does not dictate who enters the White House, or who boards AF1”.

President Trump certainly has a right to ban them from the Press Pool. The reporters can fly commercial airlines to President Trump’s events. They can stand in a hallway when Trump’s team has a press conference. There are lots of ways to “ban” them without jeopardizing the First Amendment. Just a little creativity is all that’s needed.
