I saw an interesting theory that the big (deeper pockets) AI guys are calling for regulation because it will make it difficult for the smaller guys to compete and would put the smaller guys out of business. It would also make it very difficult for any new companies or startups to enter the space.

President Trump is trying to introduce the American System wherein gov’t has an equity position in critical industry and compel domestic manufacturing so the middle-class can thrive.
