I have voted in every election since I was eligible to vote. However, it increasingly appears my vote no longer counts, particularly in my state where the left has absolute control over everything here. President Trump has done a commendable job under the circumstances, but he’s had to fight tooth and nail to get it done. Our country is in trouble. My state just finished a statewide property assessment. The day the Tyler Technologies assessor came to my house she only measured the width and length of our house and asked how many bedrooms and bathrooms are in the house. She did not have any interest if anything had been upgraded or remodeled. I fought the appraisal twice and was able to convince them it was over appraised. Got them to lower it by thirty thousand. I was able to this because my neighbors’ windows reflect sunlight on to my house and causing the siding to melt. I convinced them having to rely on the neighbor to prevent this is considered depreciation.
Just exclude all capital gains on a person’s primary residence no need for messing with “indexing”!!! Is there nothing that can’t be taxed??? Yet billions of our tax dollars are wasted or fraudulently stolen! Need to get government out of the taxing mind set!!!
