Yet, the courts and judges and certainly any good constitutional lawyer, would argue…where was the predicate to begin collection and spying on an alleged criminal?
it goes to predicate. “I think”…or “I believe” is no substitute for a prosecutor going before a judge in a real court, where due process does exist and shows the judge. these are the findings of a grand jury. There is more than just probable cause. A normal court judge would of course, demand the prosecutor elaborate what LED IT TO BELIEVE A CRIME WAS COMMITTED. And if it was not from the bank for instance in a suspicious activity report or from a eye witness, or from the IRS perhaps who would see money and banking irregularities to substantiate these deposits, or perhaps an insider at SPLC who reports evidence of crime…well then the court would likely respond: no, you may not spy on this person. You have not established a predicate that a crime has been committed. That is how the justice system SHOULD work. It protects all of us, in doing do against unlawful excercise of search and seizure abuses. And that is so very important.
So I ask the question again. Show me one single case where a criminal conviction has been proven and the evidence was collected by the secret 702 program. And if it WAS, then show what information informed the prosecutor to seek these special secret unconstitutional authorities to spy and collect.
I am NOT defending this jackwagon to be clear. But it is very important to understand that these secret powers are still very much active in this administration. There are no reasons to believe this administration is handling these powers responsibly.

I don’t believe there is a worry here. We have established a long time ago that bank accounts are not 4th Amendment privacy zones (hence the demand for Swiss accounts). Opening an account requires personal information with an oath in blood practically. Any attempts to interfere with the government’s monitoring of your account or transactions are criminalized. The SLPC took active steps to attempt to hide account activity from the government. That’s easy to spot in a non-4th Amendment zone.
