What is surfacing now, five years later, is a stronger understanding of just how the establishment medical complex determined the safety and efficacy protocols of the COVID-19 vaccination. They had theories, they had speculation, they had scientific discussion; but ultimately, they did not know to what extent the vaccine was safe – and statistically it wasn’t safe.
Looking back on recent history, the COVID experience stands out. The lessons from observing the government’s response, and how people reacted to it, have influenced our perspective on many topics related to liberty and freedom.
I turn to faith, read the gospel and recognize in more than a few ways the COVID experience was a generational test.
It is generally accepted that somewhere around 60 to 70% of Americans accepted the COVID vaccine, although a great many of those who took the vaccine did so under tremendous pressure, essentially under duress and without fully informed consent.
There really was no way to apply “informed consent” to the process because the ‘information’ that should have supported the consent was skewed, shaped and in many instances intentionally manipulated. Again, the pressure for compliance to the process was extreme; beyond extreme. I said at the time we had never seen such a pressure campaign on any topic or issue as aggressively oppressive as we endured during two-years of COVID vaccination compliance pressure.
I do not fault anyone who took the vaccine. In fact, I hold great empathy toward those who now live with the hindsight question of their life potentially being shortened. Everyone has been impacted by this medical experiment and the subsequent sociological implications in the aftermath.
A few days ago, a person wanted to discuss Dr Anthony Fauci’s testimony with me. I never bring up the subject of the COVID vaccine; not ever in personal discussion. However, if it is brought up to me, I will engage carefully, honestly and with empathy. I was asked about Fauci taking the fifth amendment and his previous grant of immunity by Joe Biden.
My response was short, purposeful and direct. Why would Anthony Fauci need criminal immunity? A lengthy reframing of the question resulted from my friend, who essentially then repeated it. Again, I responded, “why would any agent of the United States govt even begin a thought process that immunity for criminal activity would be needed?”
Silently, inside my mind I wonder if perhaps I’ve spent too much time learning about the way Russian people think. They are like American mid-westerners of old; the questions are much shorter and more direct; there is no pretense.
Why did Fauci need immunity? Why indeed. Someone knew something, eh?
That sense, the one we all carry that alerts us when something just doesn’t add up, doesn’t sit right, doesn’t reconcile unless we pretend something else exists in the sentence to explain the stuff that doesn’t reconcile. The stuff inside the sentence we create in order to explain or justify is the nonexistent stuff, the pretending stuff. Take the pretending out of the thought, and suddenly you know the answer. [Again, now you are thinking like a Russian.]
We are in an abusive relationship with government. The COVID-19 experience created a shortcut to show us just how extensive and abusive that relationship is. How many Americans have physically been harmed in this example, and how many millions more are suffering the downstream consequences of continued codependent denial.
COVID-19 was the embodiment of the truism: “when push comes to shove.”
How far are you willing to go -what pain are you willing to suffer through- to retain your definition of liberty, freedom and sovereign control. Is there a price? The COVID-19 experience gave us all the uncomfortable answers….. and now the discussion necessarily gets quiet in mixed company.
Many people are angry. Many people have every emotional right to be angry. The scale of vaccine compliance suffering runs the gambit from collapsed friendships to lost jobs, broken marriages, to painful isolation and yes, to death itself.
There is no way to measure cold anger at a scale not entirely visible.
Several years ago, CTH said to gently avoid touching the sensitive nerve of those vaccinated, there is no way for them to retreat from the decision. Done is done.
Genuine human empathy must be applied generously, while simultaneously a pragmatic perspective must be maintained.
Each person can define and judge but choosing to express that judgement is a different matter entirely. Remember, for the vaccinated all discussion is zero-sum.
As the revelations about the vaccine administrators, their thoughts, their severely compromised and corrupt activity continues to surface, it is worthwhile reminding ourselves that some people need to retain cognitive denial in order to avoid seeing the vaccinated person in the mirror.

To take it a step further @ Jaye, the CDC first had to change the definition of a vaccine (essentially watered down to that of a therapeutic) in order to cover these mRNA injections that do *not* prevent disease. The injections then had to be administered under an Emergency Use Authorization in order to absolve big pHarma from legal liability for their experimental drugs. To accomplish this, the medical industrial complex automatically rejected all other treatments that would render an emergency authorization unnecessary (and therefore, unlawful) allowing millions of patients to die of neglect.
Finally, the mRNA experiments were approved and added to the *children’s* vaccine schedule, in order to retain their legal liability shield for injuries and deaths going forward.

Had a co-worker during peak COVID shenanigans and he and his parents were from Communist Russia. His affect was bleak. I asked him about his parents, what happened to them prior to them immigrating here, in light of what we were all going through with the vaccine mandate. Interesting conversation. Ultimately I decided to move out of state, like lots of other people, and I remember him asking me: what if the gov’t never stops coming after you, what if you go through all of this trouble and in the end you cannot stop it? I told him, then they will have to put a bullet in my head. He was somewhat surprised at that.

I absolutely regret getting the clot shot. Thankfully, I haven’t had any ill effects (that I know of). I was effectively forced by my employer at the time (one of the other big pharmas) to get it because they were a government contractor and they had to get everyone vaccinated. I began to be concerned when I drove up to the company inoculation operation and noticed an ambulance parked in the background of the car parking lot where we sat for 30 minutes (doors unlocked, please — we don’t want to break your windows if you pass out). We had lots of lectures about PPE and distancing and how to cover a sneeze, but never once did they trot out an actual scientist or medical doctor who would explain how the mRNA stuff was supposed to work. That should have told me all that I needed to know.

Listening to the CNN tape above brought back such anger. Everyone of us who refused the vaccine have paid a price in our private ad professional lives and I am sure many of us, myself included still suffer the loss of relationship–for me, with my son and his wife. We all knew eventually this day was coming when the truth would come out but the anger of listening to how Dr. Mercola, among others, was vilified, targeted, and mocked has not diminished but intensified.
Looking back, scientific theories and medical speculation seemed to have its most legitimate place in the early days when there were some reported issues on the clotting front and the corresponding impact on treatment protocols. This was in the relatively short period of time where people generally seemed to be trying to get a grip on those differences amidst the first few reports that accompanied photos of caskets in Italy appearing to be stacked up like cordwood. The lack of robust efforts in many places for proper context may have appeared to set the tone for what followed.
Once it became clear that this was not Ebola but was a particular strain of a “coronavirus“, one would’ve hoped that treatment protocols and other prevention/minimization of impact approaches would’ve taken hold. At that point, there seemed to be simply no cause for treating this like viral Ebola calling for the quarantine measures at the level that were advocated for and then mandated from governmental bodies.
I seem to recall Fauci in particular appearing to disavow masking of the kind that came into vogue, as this was a “virus” that thus would be able to permeate. That would have seemed to make superfluous and even ridiculous the masking that ended up being in fashion. However, when masking became the symbol of “doing something“, even hospitals where they had apparently eschewed masking for generations related to lack of viral efficacy reportedly started being in lockstep in their aggression about it.
Places like Sweden and Florida (after they opened back up) were standing as examples over the long interval of (mask-free) normal-sized gatherings before a purported vaccine would even be rushed into production. Even in places besides those, whatever somebody was going to be doing over the period of time – – almost a year – – between the initial shutdown and the vaccine rollout to stay alive would’ve seemed to have made more sense on a prevention and personal / herd immunity front. That could include trying not to let your immune system tank and treating early — maybe leaning a little more on the isolation front for a few days or a week — rather than powering through it.
Later reports seemed to indicate that any other approach or protocol on the hospital treatment front could’ve potentially knocked down remdesivir as a front line hospital approach. Also, anything else found to be effective reportedly may have affected — and possibly even negated — the “emergency” status that allowed the purported vaccines to go out and be deployed the way they were. Thus, many scientific theories and medical speculations at the time – – such as people not even catching the virus, let alone passing it along to others if they received the shot – – may be viewed with that as background context.
I recall having heard this first take from Fauci, which amounted to “all the things that we say each year”. When the messaging seemed to go definitively the other way so soon, that seemed problematic and telling to me.

Interesting, For Now, I just submitted a copy an email that I wrote in April of 2020 and that is one of 7 quotes that I used from Fauci. His story kept changing in early 2020. My Fauci quotes are from January 26 until April 12th and it shows even in the early going he was making things up as he went along.

With that said, and I have mentioned this before, but I have background in biological sciences with more than layman’s knowledge of virology, immunology, cell biology and genetics. The moment learned anything about this virus it was A-bomb level alarm bells. The moment I learned anything about this “vaccine” it was H-bomb level alarm bells. I made a pact with my better half that we would be homeless, starving and jailed before being forced to take that jab.
Akh: You are spot on. This was not a hard call for me. Their own data that was posted to the CDC daily showed no risk to those under 65 and over 6 months old without comorbidities. And the death rate for infants was consistent with annual flu (it is sad, but true, that some of the little ones will succumb annually). And the louder the squealing from the likes of CNN, the more obvious the “no” was for me especially when they gleefully broadcast BLM marches where, apparently, covid would not spread.
I am forever grateful to this community of commenters who during the crazy days would post articles and videos of the “counter” opinion. It helped me hold firm when the shots came out to not risk it. Caught Covid a couple of times, it sucked, but was back at it after a few days. I now keep ivermectin inventory and take a little each week as a prevanative.
Unfortunately, the kids “had to” for school and the wife “had to” for work, but none of them ever took a booster.
Think hard. How many people do you know over 65 that do not have comorbidities?

Regarding the notion of “vaccine hesitancy” – the very phrase connotes all the insufferable posing as if to care for the people being approached – that would include Mayor Bowser of DC trotting along with “Dr. Fauci” when they went to visit folks in Anacostia where it seemed there was a lot of that “vaccine hesitancy” in that DC neighborhood. The gentleman near the end of the video clip made an excellent point, “why is it being incentivized?”

I come from a large family with 11 living siblings. Out of the 11 only four decided that they should follow the science. And they were deathly afraid of the rest of us. I think maybe they still are a bit. I haven’t said a word to the four who succumbed. And none have mentioned it to me lately. But some of them didn’t want me in their house, etc..
I have always been a researcher of all things health related and when I decided I wasn’t taking the shot I knew there must be some other way to boost my immune system and keep myself as healthy as possible so that if I did get the Covid, it would not impact me as much.
I couldn’t get hydroxychloroquine so I made my own tonic water from the fever tree bark. I took ivermectin paste from the Tractor Supply. Until I discovered the liquid. I took all the other immune boosting things I could think of like zinc and quercetin and vitamin C, etc.
The biggest impact on my life was that I became disgusted with my Church because they went with the science and made us sit 6 feet apart and wouldn’t let us drink coffee together, etc. Also, I’m an avid Bridge player and was hired to go on a 48 day cruise to help with the games, starting March 13. Which coincided with the time when the bans went out on cruise ships. Then the local club where I played five days a week wouldn’t let anybody in who was not vaccinated. One man who was unvaccinated went to the club anyway, and then got Covid and had to tell them. They made a huge example out of him and banned him from the club forever.
The ACBL would not allow anybody to play in tournaments unless they were vaccinated. So I lost three years of my social life and my Bridge life. But I did not bow to the vaccine.
And I’m very happy that I didn’t, especially when I see people around me getting strange forms of cancer and having strokes. I don’t know that they’re having these diseases because they got the vaccine, which I know they all did, or not but it’s very sad to see my friends and family suffer.

I know many people that never got the jab yet stated they did… We (spouse, children) did not get the jab.. Wonder how many thought they were getting the jab and got saline instead.. When it escaped, we learned that all of our rights could be suspended, by a Declaration of Emergency by our President. So, we really didn’t have any rights.

A very thoughtful post, thank you Sundance. I’ll share my personal anecdotal grief around the situation.
I was raised by parents who were skeptical of Govt. interventions. In fact, as a child I was not given as many vaccines as my peers. I’m quite healthy (partially as a result I believe), and carry my parents’ skepticism. During the pandemic, I worked for a Fortune 50 health care company. Naturally, the pressure to vaccinate was insane. We were unlawfully threatened by the companies Chief Medical Officer … I recorded it in preparation for my anticipated wrongful termination lawsuit. I filed for a religious exemption and clearly documented my rationale. The pressure campaign continued but they granted my exemption on the final day before my stamped vax card was due for submission.
My father took the vaccine. I believe it was at the urging of his 2nd wife, but ultimately he should have stood up and said no. That was his responsibility. My family was essentially cut off for 2 years…my children opened Christmas presents on the porch outside while the vaccinated families of his wife were permitted inside to celebrate the birth of a Savior they no longer looked anything like. It’s been a painful journey, that cost my father a good deal of respect amongst his own blood. I mourn the years, holidays and happy memory’s lost, replaced instead with pain and sorrow at the decision to abandon the values I thought we shared. I empathize with the vaccine-injured (my father and his new wife included); perhaps the burden I (and many like me) bear is a deeper scar, even more difficult to treat. These are wounds given by those who, as this article so astutely notes, are unwilling to look honestly at the vaccinated man in the mirror.
I had a second cousin whose wife and two teenage sons all took the 1976 swine flu shot.
His wife went into a vegetative state, almost died, and made it back to a wheel chair for the rest of her life.

I know in my family the biggest argument for taking it was trust in Donald Trump. At the time, I dug up every single research article I could find on the mRNA technology and how it was being used. I concluded that it was a “gene editing” (sorry, I’m not a doctor nor a scientist) technology. I warned everyone in my family to not take the jab. One of my sisters listened and refused it. All of my adult children listened and refused it (one lost her job in public school). Back then I was listening to the Cardiologist Dr. McCullough and several others who spoke out against it.
It was astonishing to see the number of miscarriages and deaths that followed (especially turbo cancers and the young athletes dropping dead). It was extremely sad. I wondered if this was the “great delusion” spoken about in the Book of Revelations. And then the mainstream media invalidating the VAERS database. And even as recently as a few years ago, when I went to see the Oncologist, I was scheduled on a day/time where the waiting room was particularly empty (and I wondered, since I was unvaccinated, if that was on purpose…). Now, the Oncology waiting room is overcrowded with very sick people and when I go in, I think, “I’m the healthiest one here”. Sad. So very sad.
What remains to be seen now… what is the birthrate post covid vaccinations? Has it signifcantly dropped? Have people been “sterilized”? Are more babies dying in utero and post birth? Is the damage generational since the genome was attacked? I don’t know.
What I do know is that there are still people pushing vaccines, especially the new flu vaccine (which I’m sure killed my mother), and there are still people with a hatred towards anyone who does not comply. Compliance… that’s not an American virtue. What happened? It did make me understand how so many Germans complied with the Third Reich… I mean, how could you turn in your neighbors to the Nazis?

The former, which included the Founding Fathers, understand that human beings are, by nature, selfish, sinful, and even evil, if left to their own devices, while the later believes in the “inherent goodness” and eventual perfectibility of mankind, if only they are properly led by those who possess an “anointed” knowledge of the way things “should be”. These are the so called experts who generally end up in positions of authority in various governmental agencies, because they believe themselves to be smarter and better than everyone else around them, even though they have usually never actually accomplished anything of merit or worth!

I think our founding Fathers thought out a brilliant plan when they formed this government. It was the Statehood.
