However, if you just look at the datapoints that have surfaced since June 11th, there is a greater likelihood of some kind of western kinetic activity that can be carried out in order to stimulate more opposition to Russia. Western Europe (Britain, Germany and France, in particular) have been doing their best to provoke war with Russia and frankly, they deserve to be attacked. Mr. Putin has shown tremendous restraint and this fact should receive more recognition, in light of what the EU has been doing.
Just look at Europe’s history and it is clear that they view war as a general purpose remedy to resolve all sorts of financial, social and other sorts of problems, as well as general civil unrest. The fact that the US is part of NATO, only makes them bolder and more inclined to “poke the bear.”
What “US Intel” should be doing, is assembling an itemized list of the EU’s various threats and provocations and giving this list wide circulation.

European citizens have to use public warming centers during the winter. A UK agricultural minister told British citizens to embrace eating turnips. NATO has exhausted its military capabilities. I haven’t seen the stories about 60,000 migrants invading the Russian enclave at Kalingrad…

I do not believe the casualty ratios reported by the West. The Zelensky regime continually refuses to exchange dead bodies, and the few times it has the ratio has been about six dead Ukrainians for every dead Russian.
The West has bankrupted itself in Ukraine and exposed NATO as a paper eagle, with the only result being a smaller Ukraine.
From a Russian perspective I see very little minor about those results.
Putting the Russiagate template over this one, as we know the DS playbook is limited, I’d suggest such stories are part of a contingency plan in case the Trump Administration try to end the griftskrieg in Ukraine. The MO will be very similar, any attempt to withdraw support will be met by a claim that Ukrainian’s chance of certain victory are being threatened, and/or that Europe is being put at needless risk.
Just as the COVID lockdown provided justification for why Biden ‘won’, the recent flood of pro-Ukraine stories are attempting to create the public perception that Russia has no conventional means of achieving a military victory. Once this has been achieved then any attempt by the Administration, to end the war, can be framed as a betrayal, helping Russia, and reigniting the MSM’s concern about ‘unpatriotic’ behaviour from its leaders.
A request to investigate corruption in Ukraine triggered an impeachment circus, now any future/current move to impose diplomatic realities on the conflict will lead to a similar result, especially if it can be framed to improve the chances of getting a Democrat majority in Congress.
