As a nation we are in an abusive relationship with government. However, specifically Alaska is in an abusive relationship with Senator Lisa Murkowski, and their codependent enabling of her political existence is creating serious harm to the rest of the nation.
Senator Murkowski says she will not support the nomination of Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to fill the full role of U.S. Attorney General.

Almost 50 years ago, I was in favor of the ‘women’s movement’.
One of the selling points had been, for women in medicine, law and politics etc….is that ‘women would be tuned in to the needs of women’… (whatever that is/s today). and the big issue of the day, was making ‘birth control pills’ easily available which led to the slippery slope of abortion. Other than that and, overall, today, maybe childcare, there has been little focus on the ‘needs’ of women…other than a disparity of health care and occasionally, domestic violence. And the occasional wage disparities between men and women.
That appealed to the late blooming baby boomers.
JMO, today, I look at people like her, and Collins…Hillary, ‘Dr. Jill’, AOC, Whitmer, Hochul, Spanberger, Crocket, Corey Bush, etc…there are very few that are non socialist/commie…and if they left politics, I would not miss them.
Personally, I want to see someone who is dedicated to getting the job done and not taking the tax payer, for a free ride for the purposes of self enrichment by cowtowing to their ‘donors’ off of K Street….

To fully understand Murkowski’s actions regarding this nomination and so many other issues you must accept that she is just fulfilling the role assigned to her by the “republican” branch/wing. The “republicans” function in our system of government is to play the role of the bumbling incompetent opponents that only manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The same role the Washington Generals play for the Harlem Globetrotters.
Murkowski is just one of many “republican” character actors in our government that have been very successful in aiding and abetting the anti-American agenda of the Uniparty through a facade of bumbling attempts to do right for the American people. Each and every election cycle the “republicans” loudly proclaim “We tried but just could not get it done. You just need to send us back so we can try again, and again, and again.”.
Do not be surprised when they do not succeed, once again, because Murkowski and her fellow thespians play their parts so well that they succeed at failing to succeed once again.

Interesting that Murkowski did not complain when Merrick Garland went after Latin Mass Catholics in Front Royal or when pro-life grandmothers were put in jail but is upset about “the statements that have been made to anti-abortion groups.” Really upset about words supporting prolife, but not about anti-life forces putting grandmothers in prison or targeting First Amendment freedoms? What a hypocrite.
We need a reliable, non-leaking, task force of loyal investigators to the Constitution and the wellbeing of this country to do a deep dive into every Senator’s and Congressman’s affiliations and any monies coming from our adversaries throughout the world. Or even those within. Nothing done illegally.
The Chinese have already bragged about buying Congresspersons and Senators. Those that have received funds knowingly must be held accountable.
If you read her comments carefully you may take away the fact she will not approve anyone the President puts forward. Murkowski say we need an AG that will check the worst instincts of this Administration. In other words a Dem/Rino ally.
If I were President Trump, I would put forward a succession of MAGA warriors as Acting Attorney Generals until the end of his term. Tried and true, not like those of his first term.

Her (s)election to the US Senate in 2010 over Joe Miller, the Tea Party winner of the R primary, was the most blatant election theft of all to date. Even more audacious than the 2020 rig.
They got Alaskans to accept that 100,000 voters brought their pen into the election booth and wrote in her name while only 90,000 pressed the tab for the R Joe Miller who had defeated her in the primary, and only 60,000 for the D.

Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., on Friday announced he would support Todd Blanche for confirmation to the post of Attorney General.
His support likely saves Blanche’s nomination, which has been on thin ice for weeks. Both GOP Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, have announced they will oppose him.
Speculation had abounded that Cassidy may join them in an act of revenge for President Donald Trump backing his primary opponent. But Cassidy threw cold water on that prospect in remarks on the Senate floor.
“This is not a referendum on President Trump. It is a decision regarding Mr. Blanche in very specific circumstances.” he said.
“All considered, I will vote for Mr. Blanche.”
“Mr. Blanche is not perfect, and he will tell you this. But the choice is not between perfection and Mr. Blanche,” he added. “It is between Mr. Blanche and another acting attorney general who may not run the department effectively under President Trump, and who indeed may not be as good as Mr. Blanche.”
Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas previously dropped their opposition to Blanche after he provided them with written assurances on the end of an abandoned “anti-weaponization fund.”
