(6) The government, now controlled by the House of Representatives, determines who can have wealth – and how much. (7) Climate Change is the legislative priority – no more fossil fuel use.

From government enforcement of auto insurance purchase, closing down small business during COVID while big box stores thrived, inheritance tax transferring family farms to huge agribusiness over time, and much more, lots of wealth in America represents outright theft.

Corporations are nothing more than individuals who have come together to conduct business more effectively then as individuals. They are made up of people like you and I, not not inanimate hulks doing business without human direction.
It is impossible to tax a corporation because they are made up of individuals who produce a product, or offer a service. There are corporate heads who have lost site or original goals and care only about money, spending billions on influence campaigns/lobbyists. Big Pharma is a good example. Do you know how much Google/Alphabet spend on lobbying efforts in DC? More than the individual Military Industrial giants. It was started by two Marxists who successfully controlled information to/from the public. Meta, Google, Facebook all conspired to deny the truth about the Covid-1984 Plandemic and that Fauci’s cure, Remdesivir was killing 40-50% of those it was administered too. The AMA in concert revoked licenses of Doctors who spoke out against the narrative.
As pointed out, there are nefarious actors in high positions within corporate boardrooms, but they are the minority. Most were formed to more efficiently conduct business, control costs by producing diverse components in house rather that buying from other sources. Management, production, content creations, Human Resources, Maintenance, Research & Development, IT, Advertising, Sales, Shipping & Handling, and teams of persons who perform various functions within their scope of work.
Ask the Manager at your local large grocery chain what their average profit margin is. 2%! They make their money on volume of sales, not large profit margins.
It is because corporations are made up of people that you cannot tax a corporation. When a new corporate tax is levied against business/industry, they simply figure out how much to increase the prices of their products or services to maintain the profit margin they have decided meets their needs, and then pass them on to the consumer. Every corporate tax is levied against the buyer, not those in the boardroom as desired by so many who hold entrepreneurism, capitalism, and self-sufficiency in disdain.
Basic principle of liberty: A group of people (corporation) cannot do as a group what an individual is prohibited from doing.
From forced insurance purchase to uneven regulation to tax advantages, it is time to even the playing field for the little guy.
Trump talks about this when he discusses investment groups buying up single family housing, and how they can claim tax benefits and right-downs that individuals can’t. He understands the problem.
He also unwound the force behind Obama care and the non-purchase penalty. Same principle.
We are on the right track, but it will take time to unwind all the forced “free market” relationships in America.

Using a text book definition of corporation does not reflect reality. Not when there are only 4 or 5 corporations in a market your purchase power is limited to what those 4 or 5 offer at their price. 4 or 5 can control the supply of product or set prices together. Look at the meat packing industry. They have been in the news due to the high cost of beef. 4 companies control 85% of the US meat packing market and the largest pork producing company in the world, Smithfield Foods, is controlled by a Chinese company, WH Group. Antitrust laws haven’t been enforced since the ’80s.
Yes the consumer can say no thank you but if the product offered is a necessity to living then the consumer’s choices are limited. Take insulin, an insulin dependent diabetic needs it to live, insulin was patented in 1923 and here we are 103 years later and there are no generic insulins. Plus there are only 3 companies in the world that make and sell insulin, Sanofi, Lilly, Novo Nordisk, with no generic option diabetics need insurance and the current option available is Obamacare, unless they qualify for Medicare or Medicaid. There are no true alternatives to Obamacare outside of employer-based insurance for them.
Corporations are also being used by big government to do things, like surveillance of citizens, that government cannot do. Things consumers have no choice in whether to ‘buy’ the product or service. FLOCK’s reading of automobile license plates, facial recognition software used at airports. Congress making rules and laws that favor corporations giving them tax breaks or taxpayer money without the taxpayer input, the invention of the financial tool called carbon credits. FJB’s green energy scam or the defense industry are dependent on government subsidies contracts or funding. Elon Musk is wealthy not due to the consumer but due to his being the largest private contractor for government and an inflated stock price. Musk’s Tesla makes its money by selling government invented carbon credits to other companies not selling cars. Neither of which are effected by consumer choice. The line between corporation and government has become blurred due to so much of industry depending on government handouts, subsidies or favoritism.
The bottom line is the consumer has the power the majority of the time by not buying the product or service offered, but as corporations and government become intertwined and dependent on each other consumer choice has no effect. They can try to vote their way out every 2 or 4 years but the government/corporations relationship is beyond the power of voting or the consumer’s wallet.
What would be the alternative then?
Unwind all the forced and subsidized relationships outlined above for a start.
Just think of what farming would look like today without the inheritance tax.
Or how much more money you could save if you weren’t forced to purchase auto insurance.
And the giant wealth redistribution from diabetics to big pharma.
And the forced theft of the green new scam.
And on and on and on. . . .
Only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time and Trump has been chomping away.

But you can see how it passed, because on the surface, it sounds appealing to the average voter to be able to vote for a senator.

Unfortunately, from the perspective of younger voters, we do not have the ‘bottom up” individual freedom provided in the Constitution. We have a fully financialized, ‘top down’ feudal peonage system misnamed ‘capitalism’. I think that is why even younger voters who still have common sense are looking for change. Learning, working hard, becoming proficient doesn’t work anymore.
Examples:
Doctors can no longer form independent practice groups – they are almost all top-down employees who cannot treat patients with their best judgement.
Lawyers the same – law firms have consolidated into large firms and a few very large international firms. Lawyers are mostly lower level employees of the government, large companies, and massive law firms.
Speculative financing with risk placed on taxpayers and reward financed for speculators, was restored by Clinton’s repeal of the Glass-Steagall prohibition of banks engaging in speculation. Banks were (intentionally) eliminated as an institution acting to stabilize the economy and resist inflation. A major destruction of ‘bottom up’ egalitarian ‘capitalism’. Banks fired their ‘bankers’ and rolled up to a very large, speculative, company-buying oligopoly of a few large banks within the FED system.
The Supreme Court has done major damage to enhance financialized peonage and the roll-up to a few at the top. The horrendous 1978 Marquette Bank case let banks put creditcard headquarters in Delaware/S-Dakota to charge 30% interest to those least able to afford it, while borrowing money from the FED as low as 1%, and avoid state usury laws protecting State citizens. Many businesses now refuse cash or checks. Very high interest credit cards are locked in.
And the SC has mangled and distorted the so-called “commerce clause” into a grotesque abolition of states rights, and citizen rights (10th Amendment). Most federal “laws” that affect citizens are justified under the ‘Commerce clause’. In Wickard v Filburn (1942), the SC held that an Ohio farmer who grew wheat only to feed his own animals and family (no interstate sales), completely for personal use, violated interstate ‘Commerce Clause’ law because it was worth ‘money’. Since then, anything that could be valued in money was controlable by federal law to funnel it to the top.
Much more important to our long-term cultural and financial health, our best inventors and (software) authors are now made peon-slaves during their most productive lives. The ‘bottom up’ Constitution grant of patents and copyrights to the actual inventors and authors, which produced our technological and manufacturing growth from primitive in 1776 to leadership up to about the 1980’s has very effectively been violated by government theft. The 1980’s were a turning point. THE 1982 Bayh-Dole act ‘gave’ inventors’ inventions to universities from government-funded research. The Government could have just taken a free license for government use, but inventors starting new tech and business had to be stopped (IBM threatned by Intel/microsoft. Newspapers threatened by Amazon, Ebay and internet. etc.) The universities used this to require all students and professors to pre-assign all inventions and software to their State and other universities. Almost all potential tech-inventors and software writers at their best time, subjected to peonage if they wanted to go to or teach at universities. Not just government-funded inventions – all inventions. Anything within their inventive expertise. Universities turned ‘industry’ from Terman-type collaborators into prey, and our technical leadership and new businesses disappeared. Economists can’t seem to figure out why our economy faltered to debt and financialism when inventors and software authors stopped working their tails off, starting in the 1980’s

I wonder if these morons are capable of understanding that, as long as Canada and Mexico exist, we will have borders or boundaries.
Why do we allow foreign-born activists to participate in politics? Why attach any credibility to their political beliefs? They weren’t born here and have no idea what America is about.
No one that claims to be a socialist, communist, marxist, or any other “ist” can swear the mandatory oath of office “without mental reservation or purpose of evasion”. If any person does not wholly support the Constitution including the only processes by which it can changed, altered, or amended then they can honestly take the oath and therefore can not be sworn into any government office.
“ I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.”
On the basis of the oath of office alone there are many in government (including the 3 branches of the Federal government) who should be removed from office and many others that should never be allowed to swear the oath of office.
