President Donald Trump attends a FIFA reception in New York City ahead of the World Cup final.
.
Our President never rests! The FIFA brought great sportsmanship and tremendous fans. President TRUMP is the people’s President. I pray our Heavenly Father keeps a close eye on the Man in The ARENA!!
Xx oo
I didn’t get past your first sentence.
“Our president never rests!” And I hit like.
Love of the USA fuels his energy! Best President in my lifetime and many more!
What I loved, is seeing and hearing all the fans and players, from all over the world, enjoying America and Americans….
And Ranch dressing!
And biscuits and gravy. And air conditioning! Was a great PR move.
Don’t t forget the ice cubes in your drink and water.
and the free refills!😂
A new converted from Winn Dixie to Aldi opened in town, went in today.
The new stores have a duel row of glass top freezers as you approach the check out, the last items in one next to the ice cream are—-a pack with 4 XL ice cubes in them.
Had to stop and chuckle, will ask next time if they are a big mover, McD’s is next door, they hand you a 4# bag at the drive thru window for a buck.
Are you in Boise Idaho? J.R. Simplot (McDonalds/Micron) has a home on a beautiful, well-grassed hill where kids (and me) can buy blocks of ice and slide down the long hill in the summer. It’s a kick. Of course, you have to climb up.
Yay, Aggiegirl! My honey thought I was crazy watching clip after clip of our visitors seeing the America that we know and LOVE!
Their foreign media’s lies about our country (same as most of ours) were crushed like bugs on a windshield doing 100+ mph!
I love and appreciate our country just as much as anyone else but watching those clips REALLY brought it home.
Yes!
Their happy faces told the story.
Spot on about the lying mnedia.
🙂 We like happy!
And Texas cowboy hats!
Loved that!
They did love Texas 🙂
This has been such a huge success for PDJT. The players enjoyed themselves so much, they loved the stadiums, they loved the fans an they loved the Country. The best part was that the Country did not have to invest in any infrastructure as everything was in place already. But the most amazing thing was how the people of the world who cam here were in awe of how great our people are and how great our Country is. And it probably was one of the best World Cups ever and I am not a soccer fan but I was glued to the TV.
I have to give a shout out to FOX for airing on antenna Tv, I was glued as well, only because I didn’t have to watch on cable, stream, or go to a bar. It was smart on their part.
Wasn’t there an article recently about BBC wanting to flood YouTube with their version of point/counterpoint type of reporting? They had no interest in anything of the sort until all the European folks started posting about how Americans, and America weren’t anything like what they had been told.
Their apple cart has been upset, and they are losing control of the narrative.
Free PR, and it didn’t cost us anything.
I am so glad he brought the World Cup to the USA. It showcased our wonderful country and introduced us to some fantastic players, teams and fans. What a success!
For those who may not have seen this.
Patriotic tears!!
God bless America and PDJT!!! ❤️🇺🇸
Over 100,000 welcomed home the Norwegians. Pretty incredible.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_zHXEe1f4Ec
I had never watched a soccer game in my (long) life, and I have not missed many of these WC matches (not games 😉). Even the player drama was fun once I caught onto it.
Norway was my favorite team and I think Erling Haaland is now a global super star.
Aaah, Erling. Gotta LOVE Erling. I still have not read a good reason for why he wasn’t in attendance for the welcome party, I found that baffling. He was at the Palace but not the outside venture. Some say he had a fashion show in Italy and others say he had to get home to his girl-f and kid, some say he had the food poisoning. Seems to me if possible he would have been w/the team? Just weird. One other player was MIA as well.
I hope someone will repost the video, it was removed due to copyright infringement, it was Haaland visiting a home for Autistic and other type challenged folks. The twist was the residents got to ask him anything unscripted, and oh my gosh it was one of the best videos I have ever seen. It was kinda like the scene in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest where they were doing group therapy. Haaland was absolutely incredible answering their questions and simply hanging out being a regular guy. So many smiles and so much love had by all. I am upset it was taken down. Everyone should see it. The residents and Haaland were PURE GOLD.
I was a tad bummed the video produced and used for advertising by Christopher Nolan for the Odyssey. Haaland needs to make all the money he can while he can, I don’t disrespect him for that, but jeez, he sold himself to Hollyweird. Ugh.
I don’t know how to post a pic but the Viking carrying the stuffed raccoon with a liquor bottle off the plane was epic!!! ❤️❤️

Raccoons are like humans w/fur.
The guy needs to be doing ads for the benefits of drinking Raw Milk.
That’s it! Thank you!
The video is a program called Zero Filter, if you find it please post.
This it?
https://www.reddit.com/r/popculturechat/comments/1uxzn5p/zero_filter_interview_with_erling_haaland/Nevermind, that one’s been removed, too
Wow!
soccer was the starting point –
the rest was pure American gold!!
⚽️ 🇺🇸 😁 👍🏻
Amen, zoom! You are dead on.
Was this the greatest World Cup because of the players or was this the greatest World Cup because of America?
The latter….duh. 🤓
Messing with you a bit. The US of A really shined and the reality of the situation is that is was all natural. No prep, nothing staged just good folk welcoming others as we do.
Gotta love it.
They couldn’t have done it without us!
Whar shocked me the most was the videos I watched of the visitors from other countries who visited our stores or our restaurants and couldn’t believe the amount of food we have available. And then they looked at our homes and saw how big they were and how they all had AC. GOD BLESS AMERICA
Yes.
It was the greatest because of Americans.
The world got to see the real America: its people.
They got to see how genuinely open, welcoming, friendly and free Americans are.
I think we created a lot of pro-USA ambassadors and hopefully they take home and spread the goodwill they discovered here to their own countries.
God Bless the
USA!
Great post, and yes, patriotic tears!
I would cry every time I watched one, a brilliant move to bring this cup here. We are a wonderful and generous country, was overcome with emotion every time.
thank you!
No Scotland, No Party.
Hope he brought a breathing mask with him due to all the raging Canadian wildfires and smoke.
My husband is in Chicago for work and he says the air is absolutely terrible
I’m in Michigan-haven’t left the house in days 😕
I’m going to be totally mean to Canada and Mexico right now, but the U.S. totally stole this show. And we barely even do soccer. Three hosts for the World Cup, but only one of them is on everyone’s lips right now.
Congratulations to the gazillions of planners, workers, ticket takers, plumbers, health professionals, cops, bartenders, waiters, cab drivers, and every single average citizen who welcomed our visitors with a generous spirit.
And congratulations, President Trump. I think the ease and joy with which we hosted these millions of visitors was as big a display of power in its own way as our military triumphs. He not only made it happen, he made us a metric ton of money with all those people coming here and spending. I didn’t see this coming, but it really does make me proud.
President Trump said to FIFA prez at the reception that they should bring FIFA to USA again without Max & Canada! I brust out laughing! So Truummmpp!!
The U.S. hosted the mens’ Club World Cup exclusively last summer. Kind of a preview.
Ok. Didn’t know that.
I was living in Brasil in ’94 when they won the world cup which was also held in the US. I think there is a much larger recognition worldwide of the different kind of nation we are this time around. What a president! What changes he has wrought in such a short timeframe.
Go President Trump! The man the myth the legend! God bless and may you keep him safe. 🙏🏽
I was pulling for USA, Scotland, and Norway, now I don’t care who wins the game. Our country won bigly and it was awesome to witness. Thank you President Trump!
Similar, but I have a soft spot for Argentina. I love they beat England- it just didn’t seem right having England winning on our grounds during our 250th anniversary 😉.
And my kids were huge Messi fans 17+ years ago, especially after getting to see him play live way back in the beginning. It was an awesome story arc– seeing the old guy make the 2 assists to win the game. Never surrender!
I follow soccer like a toddler listens to their parents, but I would have to pick Norway as a fan favorite team from all the videos of their actual fans. I wonder if the fans are as energetic during regular season.
Dunno, it is said that in Norway they do not promote “winning” until they are around eleven years old, until then they play for fun and exercise. Other countries push the kids w/the hopes of them becoming the meal ticket. I imagine after this summer the fans will be very active.
Gotta love entire seating sections of fans participating in the Viking row.
6,000,000,000
Viewership.
Wow!
Soccer has its place obviously in world sports but for me ice hockey rules supreme! Anybody can run but if you can’t skate well you can’t play hockey.
It weeds out the weak.
Love that they placed YMCA at the end of the event!
I hear ya Bessie2003! A tribute to the man Victor Willis founder and lead singer of the band.
I did too. What a high and laugh that gave me.
In other news I tore my meniscus two weeks ago been without air for two weeks. Finally got a new hvac system installed yesterday. Soccer ghey
I know how your knee feels …. had the same.
Got in for surgery in 2 weeks time was like new.
Got down off the recoup table they haded me crutches, they hung in the garage newver used ;…. still 🙂
Hopefully, when they go home, they will strive to make their countries more more like US
What I love most about the world cup is not that foreigners were impressed by planned spectacle, but by ordinary Americans and America. Most of us didn’t even know it was happening and did nothing out of the ordinary to impress anyone.

oops…wrong thread..
Open your eyes. Just like in Washington, D.C.: billions are at stake.
Wherever billions are generated, corruption and mismanagement are present. Just like how the mafia runs its operations.
Only children should still believe in fairy tales.
Are you children?

Smoke from the Canadian wildfires is blanketing New York. A sign of fate? A divine message?
I met the former head of FIFA in Switzerland and he warned how dangerous the World Cup in the US would be. I expressed my incredulity but he was adamant. These European “experts” have a distorted and media developed view of the US.
Will be interesting to see the final game and wonder how PDJT will handle Spain politicians who may be present for the game.
Is PJDT trying to swipe the cufflink?
There have been many reports of arrests for child trafficking and the rescues of children at or near FIFA venues. Interestingly, I have attempted 5 times to post links to the Miami arrests involving the Tristan brothers, the Kansas child rescue, Miami arrests of child traffickers and none of these could be copied and pasted.
