PRESS RELEASE – […] Today, the Governments of Israel and Lebanon made a bold decision to agree to a framework that builds a realistic path out of endless conflict. This agreement establishes a clear and structured process to restore Lebanon’s sovereignty, disarm Hizballah and dismantle its terrorist infrastructure, and enable Israel to return to its borders once that threat to its citizens is removed. It also creates a trilateral Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), facilitated by the United States, allowing the two sides to implement this Framework. For Lebanon, this Framework provides a genuine pathway out of a long crisis. For Israel, it creates a verifiable path to removing the persistent threat on its northern border.
The United States commends the courage of the two sovereign governments for taking this step to break the cycle of violence once and for all. The United States will remain fully engaged and commit significant resources, including an immediate $100 million in humanitarian assistance in coordination with the U.N.
“The United States also reaffirms its intent to improve the capability and capacity of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) to more effectively establish sovereignty throughout Lebanese territory. To that end, the Department of War is prepared to reimburse the LAF with more than $30 million under existing authorities and appropriations to support the President’s vision for an enduring peace in Lebanon.
We intend to work closely with our regional partners to implement this Framework and deliver a brighter, more secure future for Israel, Lebanon, and the whole Middle East.” (read more)

Everybody looks like they are at a funeral.
They are. Hezbollah are dead men walking. Just like Hamas. They both lost their benefactor.
The mindset of terrorists generally involves killing as many people possible on their way out. Suicide bombers come to mind.
No, these people are to cowardly to do they—they leave that to the poor people they brainwashed.
They do. Sure don’t look thrilled to be getting out of a “crisis”… maybe they are losing big kickbacks?
Then why are we handing out 100mil plus 30 more? Sick of handing money to foreign countries!
Looks like a funeral. My first thoughts as well.
Perhaps their understanding of the hard work to come is overclouding the moment.
May God Almighty bring about His vision for these neighbors.
God bless you, President Trump – and Secretary Rubio!
Yes it wasn’t a happy moment! Israel was just a bit too arrogant
Really? Who fired first?
To me they seem overcome by this moment.
They’ve been at war for years and years and with all kinds of interference from others, especially from Iran (mullahs and IRGC), who have made an industry of hate. Both countries have suffered greatly.
It seems they are likely also somewhat shell-shocked to see the Iranians being taken out. They’ve been running the table in the neighborhood for a long time and now what is left of them are dead men walking.
Probably — like us — these people are well aware of the upcoming midterms and then 2028. The lesson for all of us is the peace is fragile. Without President Trump, things could turn yet again….
Lousy photographer.
A pro would’ve gotten everyone’s attention and/or taken a few frames and swapped out better faces where needed.
But I wasn’t invited. : )
That was right before the Turkish coffee was served.
Half of them are not even looking in the camera. The cameraman could have at least gotten their attention.
Hezbollah (Hizballah) is IRAN.
Laundering 100 million payoff through the UN?
This is good news.
It’ll be a steep up-hill fight, but it’ll at least be on a verifiable path and it puts the IRGC and their bloody terrorist proxy hizballah squarely in the crosshairs.
And Israel will win.
So how does this help reign in Hezbollah?
Lebanon will be strengthened to eliminate Hezbollah (who are losing their cash flow from Iran) who operate in Lebanon without permission from the elected Government (who have been too weak to kick them out). Now, with US help, Lebanon will secure their borders. And Israel will withdraw as this happens.
That leaves Lebanon to fight Hezbollah. Hezbollah won’t leave on their own accord.
That is incorrect as long as President Trump is running the show.
It seems one avenue is that he is encouraging Syria to step up and help take out the terrorists.
President Trump means it when he says there will be peace in the Middle East. He has put his reputation and authority on the line to achieve it. This when he could be retired and spend his time playing golf. (I say that for people who don’t seem to realize the 24/7 work he does toward this end, and which is a vital part of Making America Great Again).
I don’t trust Isreal to honor the agreement. The rep from Israel seemed pretty pompous. The woman looked like she didn’t want any interaction with him. He waged war on her during negotiations. Rubio was quite comforting to her at the end
Dear God knows all that is done supposedly in secret, it WILL be revealed when the Lord returns.
That is a great hope to have . . .
and in the meanwhile, Israel is given an opportunity to back away yet again . . .
and who are the people of Hezbollah that are causing Israel to have to retaliate by blowing things up in Lebanon?
Praying that as much as possible that they will just be actual human beings who decide they want to live their best lives, take care of their parents and elderly grandparents, rebuild their homes, plant crops, not be a party to suffering anymore but to be able to rise up every morning and say “Thank you, dear God, for this day.”
The people that are Hezbollah, are they truly all mad robot-drone terror mongers to be fed into the maws of the war machine like so much scrap metal at the local recycler? There are surely human beings there, who want to set free themselves, too, if the mullahs in Iran are losing their grip on power, they just want to walk away.
The Israelis have never really explained the tragedy of October 7th and how that was able to come to pass and until they do, I feel skeptical.
I wouldnt trust the jihadist Hezbollah and Iran
A new world.
This will last about a week.
Well, it will be one week of fewer people suffering and dying. That’s something.
And then it will lead to another week of peace, and so on.
This beats what has been going on.
Another $100 million of tax payer money out the door.
If there’s a chance?
That’s a drop in the bucket compared to Somali fraud just in Minnesota alone.
Besides, what good is money if we allow the Red-Green Axis to succeed?
What good is money when your government pisses it out the window to the tune of 40 trillion dollars?
The answer is that it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.
The government borrows money just to make the interest payments on the debt which will soon be the largest budget outlay
“For Lebanon, this Framework provides a genuine pathway out of a long crisis.”
I pray to our Lord that Lebanon grabs hold of this opportunity!
🙏
Amen
Amen.
Little Marco continues to impress……
He impresses me every time I hear him speak.
What it comes down to is he is giving himself to the fight for a more decent world. He is closely following and committed to President Trump ‘s vision.
Yes, indeed he does!
I can believe either the Bible or the U.N. about future events. Which has a better track record on being right?
Good. Now let Lebanon and its soldiers do the dirty work of wiping out Hezbollah instead of our boys. I want to see the whole Middle East countries get off their asses and do what they should have done years ago.
Smash the Islamists back into the stone age and enjoy peace. Although I have read in my little black Book that these folks have been fighting forever, Good against evil, Christian versus Muslim, etc.
Reminds me of the dark and brain-washed white people in this country (not the working Black folks) who blame everybody else for their problems (except for the Democratic Party that created it) and demand reparations. Those screaming the most aren’t slaves and I, my parents, my grandparents and even my great grandparents weren’t slave owners. But facts don’t matter to these people.
Marco Rubio should definitely get the “SECRETARY OF STATE AND EVERY OTHER TITLE HE HOLDs” award. You could not pay me enough to do his job and I pray for him (and family) as well as every other cabinet member who is bringing the good fight, the MAGA fight to save our future generations from Islamic destruction.
Comments about the signers not looking very joyful are correct. These two countries have been in an arduous negotiation and I am sure they are tired.
SoS Rubio is becoming a real warrior of diplomacy and peace while committed to action if necessary. I am hoping that somehow he will be the next President of the United States. He has learned a lot from his experience as SoS and also by watching the boldness of action by President Trump. I also hope I am not wrong. Time will tell.
The successor to President Trump will have to be able keep everything achieved by President Trump and his great cabinet in place.
SoS Rubio has also handled multiple positions simultaneously and has never shown fatigue. Sound like someone else we know? While there is only one President Trump, SoS Rubio is definitely coming in a close second in my book. Always the gentleman but nowhere near weak.
He is more suited to be POTUS in my opinion. Something about Vance is askew. Something to do with facade that I have tried but can’t shake off every time I hear him speak. If it would take more time to give the man a chance to prove he’s better than Marco Rubio, I am still here waiting.
Rubio would be a better successor to President Trump. Vance has shown in these talks that he is weak, shifts with the wind, and there is something about him that seems fishy IMO. He could take more action to get Thune reigned in and pass the Save Act, but he doesn’t. Could it be that he hopes if the GOP loses the majority in the midterms, and Trump gets impeached, he will become POTUS?
Hezbollah won’t disarm unilaterally and they continue to cause an ongoing national trauma for their hostage country – Lebanon. The fact is that Shia Hezbollah is more powerful than the national army. But this might change with Israeli and US intelligence and air support for the Lebanese Army and a very weakened Iran.
That’s the plan.
Leadership in Syria is fairly new. President Trump seems to want them to step in as well.
I don’t see how the internal politics in Lebanon can lead to any sort of unilateral “disarming” of Hezbollah. It will be an excuse for Israel to continue to occupy and bomb Lebanon.
Israel is fighting Hezbollah -not Lebanon. Hezbollah has been stronger than the Lebanese Army for decades meaning that Lebanon can’t take control of its own territory in the Hezbollah strongholds in the south near the Israeli border. Iran can’t fund Hezbollah to anywhere near what they could 6 months ago, nor does Iran have spare munitions to give Hezbollah. Now is the time to strike if Israel and Lebanon are to be rid of Hezbollah and if the Lebanese government is to finally assert its sovereignty over the areas dominated by Hezbollah. Hezbollah were also critical supporters of the Assad regime, so there will be no love lost with the Syrian regime. There is a real chance for peace on Israel’s north if Hezbollah can be dismantled, and there is an Abraham Accord partners in Syria and Lebanon.
With the increase and improvement of Drones, Israel needs a bigger buffer zone. Southern Lebanon needs to be emptied out.
This conflict was pressured into peace by the national interests of Europe, China, Canada, the US, South Korea, Japan, the African bloc, the Gulf States, India, and pretty much every single country that had a voice on the national stage. And yet it still took this long to resolve. Shows you how powerful and influential a certain state in the Middle East is…. Pretty fascinating stuff.
Please explain the how this conflict had anything to do with the national interest of ANY of the countries you listed.
This is great. Yes, the representative from Lebanon looks like a hostage. The only way to stop the terrorists (other than the obvious) is to strongly dissuade nations from hosting them. This is yuge.
I’m also okay with the obvious.

Shotgun wedding… nobody looks too happy here
“Complete chaos on the streets of Beirut, as Iran-backed terrorists riot in the streets.”….
Hezbollah reacts to Israel-Lebanon agreement:
👇
Pretty straightforward about the difficult situation in Lebanon.
David Daoud did also say on his Twitter account though:
“I’m going to make an effort to set aside my characteristic cynicism and pessimism for one second here and say there is one silver lining — the pilot zones.”
And
There is some pushback beginning to happen by the Lebanese Army:

Just now, Lebanese soldiers taking the gloves off with Hezbollah in Beirut! This is a strong response and will be vital going forward. Happy to see it!

Rubio was right. Iran is behind all the destabilization in the Middle East.
It looks like US policy is to hit this from all sides. I hope some progress can be made
Hezbollah (Hizballah) is IRAN.

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah to al-Mayadeen: The Lebanese government cannot enforce the Washington agreement — “Without Hezbollah, nothing will pass.” Fadlallah vowed to block implementation, said Hezbollah will hold its weapons, and accused Washington of torpedoing Pakistan-sponsored talks. He called the government’s concessions a gift to Israel with no effect on the ground and warned Netanyahu not to rush announcements to Israeli society.
Hezbollah Lawmaker Fadlallah to Al-Mayadeen: The group will confront any measure taken by Lebanese authorities and hold on to its weapons even more

Lebanon wants peace, Israel wants Lebanon.
Bullshit. Everyone except Iran wants Hezbollah gone. Lebanon wants it’s country back
😂 😂 😂 Ohhhh, you’re serious… 🤣🤣🤣 that’s even funnier. Isreal wants the bombing and instigation to stop.
I guess if we ever get peace, we’ll see if Isreal wants peace or not.
Is there a representative of Hezbollah in the photo?? I would assume that they must be a party to this agreement??
Islamic Terrorism can be fought by killing as many terrorists as possible, and killing the leader involved especially the so called “cleric” that sanctioned them.
Who is the person on the left in the picture with a hat?
Whose the guy in the baseball cap and why is he wearing it?
Dear Montana Artist,
Chatgpt told me he is Daniel Holler, a State Department counselor. The hat is a commemorative America 250 birthday hat given by President Trump.
Was it Bill Clinton who got the Israeli Prime Minister or President to sign “The Camp David Accords” with the Head of Gaza, Yassir Arafat?
Maybe this time, with Lebanon, the US and Israel all signing on, the agreement will last a little while longer?
Hamas has not been disarmed, that was agreed to in Oct 2025.
Egypt or Jordan was supposed to disarm them.
Nobody has done anything, so why is everybody pretending?
Hamas and Hezbollah are waiting for regime change in DC.
Ive watched 60+years of ”agreements”.
Whitcoff and Kushner made these agreements like they make real estate agreements.
Agree in general on broad issues and leave it to the lawyers to work out the details.
Hamas, Hezbollah, and their master IRGC, are not rug merchants or real estate subcontractors.
They do appreciate the time out and the USA browbeating Israel.
Why is hands-off Hezbollah the number one item in the ‘agreement’ with the IRGC?
Hezbollah is part of the IRGC.
We would still be fighting nazi germany and WWII if real estate developers had been talking to and making agreements with nazi germany.
There is no substitute for victory.
Simple Trumpian common sense. To solve a problem you must hold accountable those who are responsible. Hezbollah attacks Israel. Israel responds. Wash, rinse, repeat. Until Iranian funding is cancelled and the Lebanese government takes control, the problem remains. Hezbollah won’t like it, everyone else will.
