My grandmother related a real life, sad story from about 1930.
A few doors down from my grandparents home lived an older couple. If they had any kids, they were grown. They did have a parrot. The husband, Will, was a proud owner of a new LaSalle and loved to keep it gleaming. Battle axe Mrs. Will was always calling for him. In that pre AC era, the whole neighborhood was subjected to her hollering, “Will? Will! Come in here, Will!” It was nearly constant.
Yes, you’re getting ahead of me. When Mrs. Will wasn’t around, Will got no slack as the parrot would imitate the Mrs., “Will? Will! Come in here, Will!” I have no idea how long this continued. Finally, Will could stand it no longer, and instead of driving off to parts unknown in his new LaSalle, he went into the celler and blew his brains out. That solved that problem, but likely created several new ones.
Many decades later, my grandma was still sad in recalling this real life nightmare. I wonder if Mrs. Will ever wished she had done things differently…

One of my primary sources of information has been the comments section here at the Treehouse. Sundance’s highly detailed information on subjects, in which he is an expert in, makes this site well worth visiting on its own merit, but the vast variety and reach of Treepers is what truly makes it exceptional. It is in effect, a human form of a web crawler that ferrets out information algorithms purposefully hide.
Though I have only started commenting here myself a short while ago, I have been coming here for a few years to scour the comments, and rarely have I walked away without being a little wiser. When I sometimes found myself short on time, I would simply ctrl f Dutchman on each page as a shortcut to the some of the most informative comments and interesting conversations.
I miss his insights and wonder if anyone knows what happened to him.
Our beloved Dutchman went to be with the Lord a few months back. We all miss him.

It was at Dutchman’s request that I post a long post about our President that had been shaped over a few weeks. I’m self conscious about it’s length and tweak it periodically, but one day at a time I remember the times he kept asking me to post it and I’ll say, “well, one more day for Dutch”.
We crosstalked a few times, maybe even disagreed, but, like you, I mostly gleaned from his wisdom. I am also a Hospice Doc and it was hard for me to watch him as he shared his struggles with cancer without being able to walk with him more directly.
We’re all walking to the Jordan River together whether we believe it or not. Dutch gave freely until his last breath.
Yes, it was heartbreaking. I do miss him. He was here before I was and I have been reading here for over 10 years.
Some of y’all are like family. I am glad you and a few others are still around. ❤️

I’ve been here since Pres. Trump campaigned the first time and Dutch’s posts always helped me get my balance back. The whole treehouse did. Many here are long term residents from way before me and all are good to follow.
This site and I miss them both.

If “nuclear inspections” of the rubble are to take place, then Iran knows that other nations (including the USA) will now spend lots of money to unearth the uranium. Once they do so, it will then be considerably easier for Iran to dig the rest of it out. And, with it … to hasten to Build a Bomb, and with it Wipe Out Israel, and hopefully then trigger the Nuclear Counterstrike, which maybe will qualify in Allah’s eyes as “Armageddon,” at which time the “12th Imam” will reappear.
Remember: To these madmen, nuclear weapons are not a “deterrent.” They are a tool, to be used to bring about Nirvana.
Iran will be in charge of digging out the uranium. Expected to take 1-2 years.
After it is dug up it will need to be down blended by Iran, meaning the labs we destroyed or partially destroyed will have to be rebuilt. These same labs for downgrading the U can be used to upgrade it to bomb material at a later date. This could take another year or two.
Somehow in that 2-4 year period the International inspectors who really are not sure how much U Iran has, are going to make sure that Iran doesn’t cheat.
Who the heck is going to be overseeing Iran dig it up? That doesn’t sound like a good plan at all. One to two years? Right on time for the 2028 elections and Pres. Trump to be out of office. The delaying tactics strike again. How predictable.

Over on the TGP there is an article about a Minnesota federal judge appointed by George Bush who has quashed a grand jury subpoena in regard to Watz, Frey and Ellison. The judge stated the investigation into them is retaliatory. I should be at a loss, but I am not.
If a Grand Jury decided to issue a subpoena or an indictment, then its duty and role to do so is Constitutional. This is not a thing for any non-elected “Federal Judge” to second-guess.
I would repeat this observation: that this is a matter which Congress must address!
You see, “Article 3” defined only one Court. It then left the task of creating all of the rest of it to Congress, which the first Congress did in the so-called “Judiciary Act.” The Supreme Court is at the top of this food-chain, yet the Supreme Court did not(!) create it. All of the various subordinate Courts and their Judges exist under this Congressional architecture.
We should not now expect “the SCOTUS” to remedy these problems, because many of them are architectural. Judges are able to exploit these weaknesses only because they still exist.

I came across this article on Substack. It talks about a secret scheduled meeting in Dublin Ireland, August 2026, regarding Peter Thiel, Ted Cruz, Elon Musk, Scott Bessent and 222 others.
