With Acting DNI Bill Pulte coming into office, several people have requested my simple guide to identifying media leaks.
This reference resource is based on historic patterns and generally has an 80/20 accuracy rate. While there are some leaks that cross through the data pattern, in the aggregate this basic outline has shown to be correct.
The leak source identification can help interested political observers understand the motives and objectives.
When you see the term “exclusive” in the originating media report, this guide increases in accuracy:
- The State Department leaks to CNN
- The CIA leaks to The Washington Post
- The DOJ/FBI leaks to The New York Times and Politico
- DHS domestically leaks to the Wall Street Journal
- The National Security Council leaks primarily to Axios and Politico, NYT secondary
- The Pentagon leaks to Fox News and the Wall Street Journal (Axios more recent)
- Kash Patel leaks to John Solomon – Just The News
- ¹DNI leaks to the Wall Street Journal, however:
¹The ODNI gets a little complicated due to the structure of the ODNI. Each intelligence agency has a liaison office inside the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Generally, the topline guide above overlays with the desk assignment.
Example 1: CNN gets an ‘exclusive’ leak related to the DNI; the leak sourcing is therefore most likely to be the State Dept Desk inside the DNI office. (State Dept leaks to CNN)
Example 2: Washington Post gets an ‘exclusive’ leak related to the DNI. The leak sourcing is directly from the CIA liaison desk inside DNI. (CIA leaks to WaPo)
This is the consistent pattern that established itself over the past 20 years. It is generally accurate on an 80/20 basis. Meaning 80% of the time the origin of the leak can be identified this way with accuracy; 20% of the time it is not.

Why not fire all the liaisons and make the agency directors report directly to the DNI, say weekly. Cut out the middle man so to speak. If the liaisons are leaking, problem solved. If not put the blame directly on the directors. Let them be responsible for and explain the leaks.

Copied and stored for future use. Sundance’s insight is amazing. I have been reading this page for 10 years. The first five years with skepticism(hoping he was right, but not really knowing). I have never seen for Sundance to be wrong or mislead his followers. He has proven to be right about everything involving the Russia Russia Russia hoax. Those were some dark days for me. I was depressed when the first special counsel was announced, because I have never seen anyone politically live through one. Sundance convinced me that Trump was clean and the deep state was trying hard to take him out and what the deep states motives were. I wanted for it to be true but did not “know” one way or another. Well it took a full decade to play out. Trump was/is clean and he was framed and had a coup ran on him. He survived(which is unbelievable) and now he is successfully hunting the traitors/criminals. The fact that these pipelines are the same whether Rs or Ds are “in charge” tells you all you need to know.

confiscated. For shits and giggles, look into the patterns of purchases for the

PS, the air war on the Western Front of WWI was the last time we saw chivalry on the modern battlefield. The Germanic code of duels combined with the “gentlemanly” virtues of service as an officer greatly influenced the peer on peer elements of aerial combat. I recently had a leak from a front axle seal on my 92 Toyota and had to replace all the gaskets, seals and bearings. This was a much easier problem to solve than the frequent leaks the administration must contend with.
I bet a lot of leaks from this administration are deliberate or allowed.
The deliberate ones to confuse “the enemy”; the latter to catch the disloyals.
Because otherwise there have been so many moves that “nobody saw coming.”
That is one way to identify and remove disloyal folks. Make sure that some info is only shared with one person. The leak appears. Then you’ve identified the mole. Alternatively, leak certain things to sow chaos amongst your opponents. Some (such as senator lizard) are unstable and are easily pushed over the edge. They reveal too much. So not all leaks are harmful. Some is clearly fabricated nonsense – like the NYT hit piece on RFK Jr earlier this month. Lots of “anonymous sources.”

Why are there so many leaks and presumably leakers? There are risks to leaking. Obviously there must be monetary rewards to some leakers, especially for high risk and criminal leaking. How would they get paid though, without receiving notice? There are ideological leakers, and maybe some leakers that fear retaliation or ostracization, so I guess there’s that.
Presumably, some get a thrill or ego boost from doing something clandestine during the act and again when they see their leak in the media. POS

I would have imagined that these leaking patterns are built off personal relationships, not anything institutionally entrenched. Is there any reason that these patterns hold institutionally, like do they have longstanding pipelines between each other? Or do a bunch of people at the State Department *happen* to be good friends with people at CNN, agents at the CIA *happen* to be good friends with people at the Washington Post, etc.?
I have no doubt in my mind though that every saboteur knows to have a “trusty” journalist on speed dial so they can advance an agenda with a well-timed leak.
From what I have seen, the married females don’t change their names so we can’t see their connection, to their spouses in the High Government jobs. Lots are married to one another, or a relative connection, brothers or sisters, etc.
Some of them have spouses on MSM network payroll. It would be helpful to compile a list of those MSM and government partnership marriages.
Sometimes it depends on their credentials. A medical or juris doctor cannot change their name without invalidating their professional license. This is why there is a slew of marriages and name changes in the final year of those schools.
