Speaking to Politico reporters on Capitol Hill, Senate Majority Leader John Thune says, “ask the White House,” when questioned about the status of Jay Clayton’s DNI nomination.
Apparently, Thune is in the dark as to what comes next.

A House bill passed by “privileged motion” cannot be filibustered by the Senate.

I believe those motions can still be filibustered. It just means if passed by privileged motion when it reaches the senate it only applies to “Motion to Proceed”. Once it reaches the floor it can still be filibustered.
