Leading the beginning of the media event with an announcement of the Iran agreement, President Trump notes a signing event for the negotiated deal will likely take place in Europe attended by JD Vance.
President Trump then moved quickly to the topic of an executive order opening fisheries for U.S. commercial fishing fleets, making announcements about the subject before opening up for questions. WATCH:

🙏🏻 for Americans to enter “the repentence zone”
I seriously doubt anything will change, TREATY or No. . .
The folks running the islamic state, are the only people with weapons. The only people that control Iran are the people with the weapons. The people signing this myth, are either lying about their control, or the far more likely scenario is, they’re simply taking a page from NVA General Giap’s, playbook for outnumbered forces.
Delay rearm, Delay rearm, delay etc.
Substitute UK for Iran in your post and the same holds true. Sadly.
Do you not think that President Trump knows this?
Iran has the help of global spooks just like Ukraine.
Those prehistoric assbackwards barbarous people would not be able to do anything other than pitch a tent without outside help.
That really is not an accurate description of the Iranian people. Certainly not TY hose of Persian descent…
Hormuz straits will need to open
Lasting “deals” cannot be made with lunatics.
They have already said the agreement would be “a piece of paper” they will tear up at the end of Trump’s term.
Nothing lasts forever except for God’s Kingdom.
Why do we expect worldly things to be “lasting?”
so very true. The only true and lasting peace will be when Jesus returns.
The fisheries order involves some large marine monuments in the Pacific that were closed off to American fishing for environmental reasons. The Chinese moved in and fished there anyway. Now the American fishing fleets especially tuna can go back in.
“The Chinese moved in and fished there anyway…”
And that is because the Communist Chinese are a plague on all environnments!
They are the worst polluters of Land, Sea, and Air, because they do not care about Life!
Life is cheap to the Communist Chinese, going back to their “Human Wave” technique of combat in The Korean War, to forcing abortions on millions of women, to having no safety standards to protect people.
Their millions of people exist as slaves for The Communist Elite: slaves are expendable!
Since they do not care about human life, why should we expect them to care about a good environment for animal life?
And thus the large Coast Guard presence there. Unfortunately the area is vast and with several ships it is not enough to keep the Chinese from fishing there.
This is the case with the Chinese in South American waters and has been for some time.
When I think of what they did to the whales, tigers, skin dogs alive . It makes me angry. They are wasteful, to boot . Will kill an animal to use a small part to eat or have for superstitious reasons.
Rest in the Vine: The Midway Marxist: Oceania Has Always Been At War With Oceania
Obankster used the Monuments Act, which is supposed to be for a small and discrete object, to set aside an area twice the size of Texas.
At the time, I thought it was just Environmental Extremism, but now we know it was the CIA’s War on Food and Barry’s never-ending Treason with China.
I really really miss Maine sardines. They were the best in the world. They’ve been depleted for decades now. You can’t buy them. Starting in the late’60’s the Soviets, Chinese and Japanese among others started fishing for them with huge ships outside our boundaries and it took years for anything to be done about it. The entire food chain has been altered irreparably in that area. I thought that the monuments were to give the ecosystem an opportunity to restore.
Retired Magistrate here: President Trump will turn 80 on June 14th and he is looking at the kind of legacy he wants to leave to future generations. Peace in the Middle East is the prize and that is what he wants for his legacy just as much as he wants to Make America Great Again. Actually the two go together; peace in the Middle East would result in better security for the United States. Will it happen, I have no idea, but he is certainly doing everything he can to make it happen.
President Trump is thinking long term; a better world for our children and grandchildren.
And obviously his own children and grandchildren.
Of course, why not?
I’m making a friendly suggestion; when you are commenting on topics where your title, ‘Retired Magistrate here’, is germane, it makes sense to have your title showing your credibility and a higher level of knowledge on the topic.
Using it all the time either seems vain or pompous.
I suggest only using your title when it is germane to the topic upon which you are commenting.
I’m an inventor, a prophet, an artist, a sensible environmentalist, and I can repair most things excluding transmissions and electronics, but I never list any of those titles or descriptions on my comments. I merely comment. And to the best of my recollection, no one else uses titles.
I’m relatively certain you aren’t vain or pompous; it just comes across that way when using your title on every comment.
agreed it does come across as pompous. besides, who cares?

Your cry baby complaining is illogical therefore you must remove “logic” from your screen name.
You missed the point.
When reading comments, it is helpful to know a commenter is more knowledgeable on the topic at hand than other commenters. I encouraged her to list her title on topics where she has expertise. If a person lists their title on areas outside of their field it is irrelevant.
No one else lists their titles; Sundance has more credentials AND more intel sources than half the people commenting on here combined and doesn’t list any credentials.
Your reply is illogical.
Actually you missed the point. You have no jurisdiction telling people how they should post.
I’ve commented twice suggesting that using your title when it is germane to the topic makes sense.
No one else uses titles on here.
No doubt they will scrub this comment as well, but they let bots and commies comment all the time. So much for FREE SPEECH.
Nobody else is irritated.
I agree with you, K. I don’t mind that Marcia includes her personal history….it identifies her comments which I find very astute. Thanks, Marcia, for your comments always….you are spot on. (On a personal note, I have a sister with your name who I adore. I would hear much the same from her were she on this thread.)
And if memory serves, she has been here a LOT longer than Bart, whom I have not seen before (but then I am an intermittent branch hanger-on).
IMHO Bart could have just moved on.
Irritated is the incorrect description of why I commented.
Multiple people gave me an upvote and one person took the time to type out a comment in favor of my comment so your reply is altogether incorrect.
I posted my comment late last night after working until nearly sunset. If I had posted it earlier in the day, I likely would have had double the upvotes and possibly more people commenting favorably on my suggestion.
There is no need to comment further on my comment; there are vastly more important events to comment on.
And she will either take my advice and only use her title when it is germane or she will blow her own horn on every comment she makes which no one else on here finds necessary for themselves.
If Sundance doesn’t list credentials, why would anyone on here find it necessary to list theirs unless it is germane to the topic at hand.
That was my point.
Your cry baby complaining is illogical therefore you must remove “logic” from your screen name.
He has a lot of projects going on simultaneously. Taking on the mid-east project is quite the tall order. I am more optimistic on a solution to the Venezuela and Cuba problems – and if that materializes prior to the end of his term, that will be a wonderful gift to those people. The drop in DC crime was remarkable. In a normal world, that should reveal to everyone living in a major city that crime and filth are local government official policy. Cleaning up and repairing the fountains and reflecting pool in advance of the 250th has been a nice touch. I wish that he could appoint more federal judges, but alas, there are only 30 current vacancies of which 10 nominees are pending. He has appointed 60 circuit court judges – fully a third of the courts of appeals. Hopefully President Rubio or Vance will get a turn and appoint more. I see a smarter president in 47. He’s driven to accomplish as much as he can, knowing that he has just another 2.5 years in office. A few colleagues here have posted that he is a once in a generation president. That is true. We would probably have to go back 100+ years to find one who communicated in such a candid and brash manner. He was the first to totally embrace social media and blast out every thought that occurred to him as 45. I recognized that as innovative and entertaining, but also surprising coming from a 70 something year-old. His instincts are correct more often than not. The redistricting fight for example, was the right call. The entire NE is without a single R. He correctly calculated that what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. It appears that once the dust settles, about a dozen districts will switch from blue to red. I feel fortunate to witness this presidency. Theodore Roosevelt would’ve been another fun presidency to witness. Keep using the retired magistrate handle. I don’t memorize everyone’s first name here, and it helps associate name recognition. 😉
that’s what a president is supposed to do.
For all the doubters and naysayers out there, Donald Trump will end up being one of, if not most consequential Presidents in history. He has done more for the world than I truly believe any other President and he still has time left in his term.
He respect work and workers.
I couldn’t agree more with the man who said he doesn’t understand where President Trump finds the time to do all the things he accomplishes.
The IRGC is in control, this is nothing more than a delay tactic.
I am willing to go out a long ways on my branch here and say it will only be a matter of time before they launch some kind of attack.
They are still chanting death to Israel and America.
The IRGC or Langley under a false flag?
These Muslims are sure making a case for Islam and trust that Western nations should be giving the adherents of that ideology.
Seriously?
Iran’s recent retaliatory attacks have netted zero casualties and minimal damage. They got nothing. They are shooting blanks.
As I said in the other thread, I wonder if the less crazy Iranian leadership suggested some targets, then made some phone calls after the craters were made.
POTUS has said days ago it was difficult negotiating because of dealing with the less crazy with the IRGC in the mix.
Iterative process. There will most certainly be flare-ups after the deal is signed. I am just learning every treaty/agreement in history shows this pattern.
Go read and listen to the long list of countries who have accepted the terms of the deal.
Also, IRGC is not the force it was before. Many were forced into service and have or are abandoning this organization. They don’t agree among themselves. Rubio told the Senate: the negotiators have to go back and negotiate with their own people, each time it takes days and weeks. Not helped by degraded communication systems.
Listen to what the President said about getting all those ships through the strait – millions of barrels of oil, and Iran had no idea and could do nothing about it.
If you pay close attention, this whole situation flip flops between a “deal week” and a “fighting week”.
Or as my Wall Street buddies call it – a “buy week” or a “sell week”.
Get lost.
And what do your “beach friends” say? /s
Or the West Virginians?
Ur Wall Street butt buddies?
Of course it does Rolly Trolly, that’s how he wins.
simpleton leftist
I wish we could see who is up voting your tripe, it would help to recognize who is who here…🤔
So many people make comments that imply President Trump is getting suckered; if this is you maybe consider this:
You’ve been mentally imprisoned by the deep state for so long, and played by RINOs so many times that everything looks the same to you, that you can’t recognize difference when you see it.
Different as in Trump ain’t starting a forever war, he’s ending it, and doing a bang up job in the process.
He hit them hard and severely degraded them, where getting lucky and shooting down 1 Apache is considered a miracle, cut off their access from their uranium, isolated them from any possible aid from any possible ally, utterly destroyed the Iranian Rial and their economy, stole all their oil customers helping to set up the US economy for pre mid-term afterburner mode, shut down the strait of Hormuz for them while pushing 100 million bbls through for approved entities, and gave them 60 days to make his deal.
He just hammered them again after the tried the delay tactics and for the first time they called the Whitehouse directly. It doesn’t matter which way they go, Trump has got it covered, and is showing them quite clearly that it is his deal or his hammer, there is no third choice.
He has done all this, All of This, with the ball and chain of the other two branches of government, the deep state IC, and probably most of the executive branch attached to his legs. Give me a frickin’ break.
It’s like watching a football game between the Super Bowl champs and a pee wee league, and your telling me that even with the pee wees down 277-0 in the fourth quarter, they’re going to come back and devastate our quarterbacks plan
He has all the leverage, he is forcing them to do what he wants and calling all the shots.
What an America First President does! All the rest treated the rest of the world like they were Americans and we weren’t!?
Fisherman’s daughter here…. Have waited my long life for a moment like this…seeing our great fishermen honored in the oval office…. Our wonderful President Trump speaking of our hard work and how our industry contributes to the health of the country!!!! A really good moment for me…I only wish our fathers and others I knew growing up could have been there.
Thank you, President Trump.
Our fisherfolk being out there can report on conditions and intruders.
Sig Hanson was there on the left. From TV show “Deadliest Catch”. IIRC he was the boat Northwestern. Good stuff.
Yep.
I love how Sig said that he thought, as fisherman and reality TV star, he was a hard worker. But that Donald Trump totally outworks him, which made him humble and learning from the President made him a better Captain for his crew.
That is quite the statement from Sig. Considering that President Trump has 20 years on Sig, +/- it had to leave a big impression on him. Sig and all fishermen lead very hard working lives.
Although the negative Nancys have come out swinging on this thread, I can’t help but to agree with some of their sentiment…How do you negotiate with a savage terrorist state who are encouraged by their religion to lie especially to infidels. I know President Trump has this front and center. He’s a dealmaker but not a fool. I’m sure he is negotiating with the more moderate faction of remaining leadership in Iran and their growing support from the USA and their neighbors…This back-and-forth diplomacy of words, and kinetic action reflects more on Iran’s internal power struggles…
It’s not being a Negative Nancy to objectively say that we have heard variations of this almost 40x since Not a War started.
Or, we could do what old Joe and 0bama did and send billions of our dollars over as hush money. That’s worked so well, correct?
👁️👁️ isn’t it past your bedtime?
The Iranian people want peace. They don’t want nuclear weapons. But they have no say in this matter, because somewhere between 30 and 40,000 of them were slaughtered recently during the uprising. They view the IRGC and its minions as ruthless conquerors, but unfortunately that’s who’s in charge. And any agreement with them isn’t worth the paper on which it’s printed.
Joanne I agree with your observations and think you would gain a lot of insight( FOUND NOWHERE ELSE) by following these guys….in particular the arab gentleman …Aimen Dean a former Al-Qaeda member turned MI6 dbl agent….
this episode has changed my mind about how competently our President has prosecuted this military action with Iran….. and Aimen like me has been a staunch supporter and champion of Trumps actions and agenda in ME and global financial market …but he KNOWS these people and how best to deal with them…..YMMV.
President Trump is not negotiating, his deal is a take it or leave it offer; it’s either that or the bombs.
and this is precise reason…….there will be not peace agreement…
There will be peace, whichever route the mulluhs choose.
Islam is a cult, not a religion. I know of no other religion that respects lying and killing the non-believer. Reminds me of the likes of the Branch Dividians.
As much as I’ve supported The Donald from the Trump 1, I trust the Iranian leadership about as far as I can throw them; it is a matter of the highest regard to lie to a non.Muslim.
I’ve got a very bad feeling about this.
Trump doesn’t trust them either, that’s why he’s letting them choose between two of his choices, but it still comes down to heads we win, tails you lose.
Me too but I just keep my concerns to myself because I really have no idea. I think the entire world is on edge over this. Unlike with Ukraine I’m not seeing stuff leaking out from there which IDK for sure why but eventually we’ll know.
Iran isn’t more important then the midterms. Time to prioritize.
The timing is being set up for the mid-terms.
Removed, wrong post.
Pray to God and praise Him unceasingly, for He is in control.
Take out (eliminate) “spectacularly” a mullah a/o IRGC member every 12 hours until they cave.
Really enjoyed this. Everyone was pleasant though I didn’t listen to the press part as of yet. Informative and amazing the work President Trump is/has/continues to do for America. It takes a great deal of hatred and ignorance to not give him credit for his love and devotion for this country. The press actually surprises me the most as they see/listen/know and yet spill such vile lies. Takes a certain kind of inhuman to dislike your nation so much you’d rather see it split just to feed your ego and pockets.
If the “agreement” with Iran actually looks like the outline presented by Reuters this morning [6/12/26] then it is a complete and total capitulation by Trump.
Reuters is mouthpiece for City of London. Don’t trust them.
Iran continues to run the old rope-a-dope trick.
Why weren’t all the horrible regulations like the one controlling the fishing industry…….signed in the first week? That would be MAGA …..not putting all these foreign countries in the forefront.
