The Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act was brought to the Senate as an amendment by Lindsey Graham as part of the $70 billion budget reconciliation package funding Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol.
The usual senate suspects, Thom Tillis, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins and Mitch McConnell voted with Democrats to kill the SAVE America Act amendment. 75% of Americans support the requirement for voter ID, the Senate doesn’t want that.
WASHINGTON – Four Senate Republicans broke ranks to kill another effort to pass President Donald Trump’s marquee voter ID and election integrity legislation as the GOP marches to fund immigration enforcement.
Just like last time, Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Thom Tills, R-N.C., joined all Democrats to thwart the move.
It’s the second attempt by Republicans to attach the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act to their budget reconciliation package, and the second time that they’ve failed to get the legislation across the line months after launching a quasi-floor takeover to debate the bill. In related news, after three days California has only counted 63% of the vote and Spencer Pratt is losing ground on his second-place finish.
This, the trumped up “protests,” the inability to get rid of these traitors (or their already decided retirement), the sheer numbers of invaders – far more than can ever be deported – the willingness of every single R senator to pretend that they are in session when they are not for the sole purpose of preventing President Trump from making recess appointments, the expected likelihood that the SC will rule wrongly that anchor babies born to those who have STOLEN into our country must have their names added to the deed of our country, and more all lead to the conclusion that I was right; Donald Trump waited too long.
Next month President Trump will have been in office 1 1/2 years the second time. 3/8ths of the way through his term. And he isn’t even given a full complement of his chosen workers to implement the policies the American citizens who wanted to SAVE AMERICA voted for.

Not much to say regarding a post such as this except to agree. My view has been that all dirt roads lead to congress and all pot holes come from them. Congress is and has been for such a long time the reason our nation will fall. There are no representatives for the people. What is said in front of a camera is a plot to evasion.

I actually spoke with someone an Collins office this morning. I asked him if Janet Mills was strategic when she suspended her campaign. Imagine that the nazi folds and Mills wins the primary without spending any money.
Then the prospect of Mills vs Collins.

It is no coincidence that Maine and Alaska both have the horrible ranked choice voting which keeps people like Collins and Murkowski in the senate. The Bush Republicans in Maine also don’t help.
Sorry to see that the trajectory of our country is to the far left anti-Christian mob with almost no morals. This seems to be what the big money wants – kings and mindless distracted tax slaves. Of course our esteemed (SPIT!) congress is being paid well to facilitate this destruction of the middle class.

Counting votes after election day is just pure fraud. Dems who control all the levers of power in California will manufacture and “find” however many votes they need to ensure that Steve Hilton finishes 3rd even if it takes another 3 weeks. The vote in CA is rigged. The cheating is going on in plain sight now.
I know I’m in the minority here, but I believe “ voter ID” is going to require the same documents as the “Real ID” and the past push for proof of citizenship in order to work was also about getting EVERYONE in the US documented. They phrase it to make it sound like they’re just protecting us from illegal aliens. Sorta like requiring you to prove your identity to access certain Apps to protect the children.
FYI, I was always in favor of requiring photo ID to vote. It’s required in Missouri. The SAVE Act is is about tagging us.
It’s common sense to prove identity before a vote is considered valid. We are electing people to write our laws for goodness sake. Requiring ID for alcohol and Tobacco, a driver’s license, to fly, to fish, to go to a DNC convention, to enter a bar, etc. is necessary but not for those who create the law and tax us? The people who oppose it are only fooling themselves and exposing how ridiculous they are to voters.
I would like to know if all the voters not capable of getting voter ID or can’t get an ID to fly, a permit to fish, for government benefits,etc. because common sense says if they can’t get an ID to vote they can’t obtain identification for anything. Would be an interesting experiment.

Collins F 20% – 25 years in DC
McConnell F 44% – 37 years in DC
Last time I checked in 2025, about 50% of “Republicans” in the Senate had D and F liberty scores with more Fs than Ds.
Hmmm, considering how many times they and other D and F rated Rep pols there have been reelected, either there’s some massive voter fraud going on or Rep voters are as much of a party of low information, inattentive voters as the Dims.
