Today, Texas voters are choosing party nominees in runoff elections for several key statewide, congressional and local races for contests where no candidate won a majority in the March primary.
This runoff puts incumbent Senator John Cornyn against challenger AG Ken Paxton for the Texas Senate Republican race. President Trump has endorsed the challenger against Cornyn, and the old guard in the Senate are furious.
UPDATE: The results are not yet finalized, but it’s not even remotely close. Senator John Cornyn has lost his seat. Texas AG Ken Paxton has crushed Cornyn in a massive victory.

Americans want stability, prosperity, common sense – and to be left alone. And that’s what MAGA delivers, thanks to President Donald J. Trump. The message from the voters could not be clearer.

The GOP would not be weeding out their establishment element if not for Donald Trump. Think of any other Republican, had they been elected president other than Trump, who would have attempted this, and be brave enough to take on the GOP globalist wing? Ron DeSantis? Rand Paul? Marco Rubio? Mike Pence? Ted Cruz?
None of them would have taken on the Establishment and we would still be stuck with the likes of Cornyn, McConnell, Tillis and Massie for years to come. Still plenty of work to do when we have longtime RINOS left in John Thune, Susan Murkowski, and others in the House and Senate, but the Swamp is slowly being drained.
There is only One President Trump and hope he is soon recognized as great for our country and free world. Any successor will appear as plain vanilla but should follow DJT’s roadmap.

Don’t forget to embrace the righteous joy of seeing Carl Rove, the biggest Bush mouthpiece who was effusive in his praise of Cornyn and damning in his criticism of Paxton, being exposed as a scheming, disengenuous RINO fraud.

1. Return to God.
2. Pray that He would raise up Godly leaders.
3. Prayerfully vote for those Godly leaders.
4. Worship God through faith in His Son Jesus Christ.
5. Trust President Trump, and pray continually for God to bless him, his family and his loyal allies.

I hope someone competent runs a primary against Cruz, sadly it won’t be for a few years. People I spoke with, in line to vote, were all for Paxton, and most for Mayes—a few liked chip Roy. Most of us agreed Cruz is next to go, as long as someone fair challenges him. We are all emboldened to unseat incumbents, when we don’t get the policy we want in dc.
Most important to get a solid MAGA opponent to step up. Throwing elections to the Dims is not so good.
But even here in blueMA we FINALLY confirmed a strong Republican slate. It’s far from perfect yet, but it’s a sign of life after years of single-party tyranny.
I would urge Ken Paxton to be Trump’s “wingman,” and he’ll continue to win big.
Wow. That is a Thunder Strike considering that Paxton lost by a point and a half in the first round and third choice only took 13%. The only difference was Trumps endorsement. Trump should post that old phone commercial “do you hear me now”. Quit playing games and get on board Senators or you’re next.

As a longtime Texan in Cornyn’s district, I won’t miss him as since he was first elected we never saw him much anyway. He would only pull his head out of McConnell’s ass every six years and try to convince us he actually was accomplishing something then insert that head again!
