Here’s part of the context: John Brennan at one time realized the Steele Dossier was a piece of Opposition Research for the Clinton 2016 campaign. However, when called upon by Obama to come up with a predicate of some kind to start a counterintelligence investigation of Trump and those around him, Brennan incorporated it into the Intelligence Community Assessment and the predicate for the inevitable Special Counsel, once the plotters achieved Sessions’ recusal. There is not real problem with “context.” You don’t use Opposition Research for a political campaign as evidence of any kind. Brennan had to produce a predicate, so the Steele Dossier was used despite Brennan knowing what it was all about in the real world.

Having been a member of the Texas Bar for 36 years, and a member of the Florida Bar for 31 years, having litigated MANY cases and winning the majority of them, ALL dealing with the availability of evidence, I will say:
There is an over-abundance of evidence available, much of it already proven in a court of law, that can be used to file charges…
The real reason that we have seen no accountability is not that people don’t know how to recognize or find evidence, but because those in authority that could file charges have been ordered to “Stand Down” by the DOJ and/or the FBI, or have simply failed to file charges in order to protect prominent politicians that are the guilty parties…
A recent prime example: Our new AG, Blanche, has admitted the evidence is available, but is continuing to investigate, investigate, investigate… But, the investigations are not of the politicians that planned and executed the election steal of 2020, are prima facie evidence that the DOJ is going after the little people in Georgia and Arizona rather than file charges on those politicians that planned and executed the election steal.

Most, not a few, people with the authority to do something about it don’t know where to look to find the evidence, and when they do, they don’t know what it means in context. These would be what I call them the Dunning-Krugers. These types typically display intellectual hubris; while in authority, are unaware of their own ignorance. Most commonly would dismiss/mishandle critical evidence because they do not understand its significance.
These people, as such – highlight a perpetual crisis in governance and organizational leadership. Decision-makers are structurally ill-equipped to handle complex information, relying instead on flawed heuristics, confirmation bias, or the advice of unqualified subordinates.
Competence and authority are decoupled.
The skills needed to produce correct answers are often the same skills required to evaluate those answers.
Such “stupid” governance may in fact be a strategic performance to appeal to voters who distrust expertise.

Time is running out. They need trials and convictions. There are hundreds of solid cases that could be brought to court for various crimes especially election fraud. If the administration doesn’t put people in jail what then is the incentive for the Democrats to not do it again.
