My opinion on our current FBI Director is the same as it was the day his nomination was announced. The best, the most competent, the smartest, the most insightful and stable thinking people do not originate on a track from inside government work. The most effective way to get the best outcome is to approach and enlist the smart ones from outside government to come and assist. Patel was always an insider.
The FBI is an institution built upon corruption and fraud. Unfortunately, neither President Trump, nor the American people, will ever get the vindication and accountability he/we deserve until Kash Patel is no longer the one in charge of delivering it. It’s just that painfully simple. Trying to reform a corrupt system while maintaining the structures that enabled the corruption leads to endless discussions and ‘trust me bro’ delays.
In this interview FBI Director Kash Patel sits down with Sean Hannity to discuss current and prior events within the FBI. Patel’s primary objective is the performance; the presentation of what he thinks will endear him to President Trump the most. This is not effectiveness; the outcome is the illusion of leadership. The video is prompted. WATCH:
.
Kash Patel is to the FBI as Pam Bondi was to the DOJ.

Next to go: Kash Patel is OUT, Ron DeSantis is IN as next FBI Director
Huh?
Is that actually a move forward…….or is it just a step sideways….kicking the ball down the road even further. Remember……DeSantis was no friend of Trump when the 2024 election cycle began.
Is he REALLY MAGA?
Or is he ESTABLISHMENT.
He’s a very effective MAGA appearing Governor. I doubt he’s even worn the hat.
He’ll wear any hat that helps him.
maybe his lifts were MAGA brand.
Don’t you dare take my Governor away. DeSantis is a great Governor, but he too is a political insider. May I remind you of the Bush, Jekyll Island billionaires supporting his run against Trump!
Don’t worry! The plan is for his wife to succeed him. Like Ma Ferguson in Texas.
Being the wife of an office holder is NO qualification to succeed in that office. I will be supporting the most qualified of the GOP candidates for governor in the upcoming primary and I doubt that it will be Mrs DeSantis.
No on DeS. He’ll back stab, undermine PT like. Arr did, Pence et al. They wait til a crucial moment.
I was just trying to imagine who would replace Patel. DeSantis? Hmmm.
Grennell?
A much better choice.
Interesting. I think he is a much more effective manager and spokesperson than Kash but Tom Homan would be better.
I wonder if anything in those burn bags will show up as evidence against Comey in his “8647” trial? As they are saying, there’s got to be more than sea shells.
Someone will have to watch and tell me. I have zero patience to listen to either one of those two people.
I will guess for you…..”The great men and women of the FBI and our state and local partners are insuring the safety and security of the American people”, etc, etc etc.
I don’t think Kash is anywhere near as bad as Bondi……or as comprimised and owned…..as Bondi was and is! I never once through all these years heard Pam Bondi speak about the deepstate, the lawfare and the other tactics including the actual coup that took place under Obama, or the treasonous acts, the traitors, and all the other rot like Kash did before he became director.
They are NOT the same…or even on the same team!
As for the FBI………I agree……..dismantle it….tear it down and any decent agents that might still be there……make them Federal Marshall’s.
I Am disappointed that Kash is not tearing down the FBI……but……it IS obvious there has been a change. One for example is this……
Instead of us always knowing and being aware of certain attacks…….but for some reason just a tad behind being able to stop the attacks….which IS the way it had been for years……..we are in fact stopping the attacks before they happen. THAT…..is a good development!
I still do not…..and never will trust the FBI………but then there isn’t any aspect of the government I trust!
Trump…..is NOT the government. And yes……I trust Trump! And I’ve been with him since he came down that golden escalator!
He is just as owned and compromised – by Wallstreeet. Unlike Bondi, his chit has not yet come due.
You and I are on the same page. You must be older like I am. Good Day.
So, the attempt to kill people at the correspondent’s dinner was an attack that was stopped before it happened.
Do you define ‘happened’ as being after the president is shot?
What exactly was the point of Bongino’s short stint as Deputy Director of the FBI? I don’t even listen to his podcast anymore cuz I’m tired of the yelling – among other things.
Agreed. Plus, and with all due respect to Sundance, I’m not even sure how you’d get “an outsider” approved by the Senate. I’m sure such endeavor would eat up tons of political capital. Perhaps all of it!
That’s the part everyone fails to realize, it doesn’t matter who Trump or the MAGA Base wants to head a given department, the Deep State (intelligence branch of government) and the captured/traitorous RINOS cast the ultimate vote.
Without real meaningful election reforms, the citizens have little to no control over who wins many elections. Without a strong MAGA Majority in both chambers, we can’t remedy it.
Without a strong MAGA Majority in Congress, no president can reform the corrupted agencies or remedy the problems plaguing the country.
The Big Steal that took place back in 2020, also took place in the 2022 Midterms and 2024 as well. In 2024 it was just shifted down ballot, so the GOP secured the majorities but without enough of a majority in either chamber to effectively govern.
Isn’t this the same with the secret service also?
Good grief, all of these incompetent boobs should’ve been fired twice already.
I don’t understand these questionable appointments by Trump that end up being duds and ultimately fired. Trump is a smart guy but he seems to have a problem with trusting and selecting the right people.
Talking about the FBI. I’m an older guy, I was 15 the day JFK was murdered. Ton’s and ton’s of info has been uncovered over many years about what happened that day and the WHY of what happened. The idea that the rest of the Kennedy files must be released to solve the case is BS. We know a great deal about that whole scenario. The bottom line in ONE respect is this. The FBI AT THE VERY VERY LEAST was complicit in the Murder of President John Kennedy. They were involved in the cover-up of who, what, and where in the murder of JFK. Without doubt. How can they be trusted. Always remember that the Number One priority of the government is TO PROTECT ITSELF. Not the people or necessarily the country, But Themselves.
It is worse than you may think. See this information about a high Government official who died in 1993: https://allanfavish.com/index.php/vincent-foster
What about the CIA?
Pretty sure it was a secure room. Who had access?
Electronic locks have logs of who entered and who has access. I would assume it would have a history of who had access.
Disband the FBI.
Create a new Office of National Investigations within DHS.
Staff it with new hires to cover any must-have investigative functions that would disappear along with the FBI.
FBI labs could be transferred to DHS as well.
Quantico gets returned to the USMC.
The End.
Whatever you call it there needs to be at least 3 divisions, East, West, and Mid West, that all have their own heads. Each headquarters would be chosen by each division and each division would be responsible to any other in what they are doing. Each division head could be chosen by governors. They could have authority to demand briefings and details on any investigation the others are doing.
It needs to be set up with checks and balances to make each division responsible to the others and prioritize their own investigations by having more local connections. No US senate confirmations for division heads. The states would do that.
Thoughtful scenario… Thanks.
^^^^^^ YES!!!
EXCELLENT post!
I was friends with man older gentleman who had been an FBI agent. Never would sit with his back to a door.
He said that it was diluting Carter years when they changed it to where all went through DC first.
You are right. That is how to fix it.
I dread to think that Tampon Tim or Fat Albert over in Illinois or someone like them would have the authority or the opportunity to select a dog catcher, much less a FBI division head.
I’d like Ken Paxton at the head of FBI, but I want him to defeat the RINO in Texas for the Senate.
The main difficulty for Trump has been getting an awesome candidate for FBI Director confirmed.
Every branch of our government is corrupted and working against the American people. Congress is a group of people who are in it to become extremely wealthy through corruption. I believe there might be a code of silence in the Congress such that anyone who comes forward with the truth will have their lives ruined. Thus Congress isn’t interested in confirming anyone who calls the corruption out when he or she sees it. They are only interested in a candidate who will protect them and do their bidding.
The judiciary is full of judges who think they have a right to ruin the President’s policies.
I think the scale of the corruption in Congress is so great, that any honest person would be overwhelmed and not know where to begin, if their efforts would ever lead to anything constructive.
Our founders would weep.
SAD….the RNC recruits and puts fourth candidate that will “fit” in. Then if it comes down to it …they will cheat if necessary. Old Mitch had 17% approval before his last election in Kentucky but he won his race. To provide cover for his fixing the vote numbers he sought PT’s endorsement at the last minute cause he was losing ….I think he lost even with PT’s backing so he pulled out the cheat card…..Trump was the cover for a miraculous win. My point is…the whole thing is rigged against us getting decent representation and the RNC Republicans live on to keep our government under their control.
Any honest person that doesn’t play the game and doesn’t deliver the goods to his/her district will soon be unelected. Either that or sell their souls to the devil, which is what most of Congress has chosen to do. It’s a Catch 22.
PREIDENT TRUMP —-PULL THE RUG FROM UNDERNEATH PATEL. It’s just time.
Don’t know who Trumps seeks advice from concerning DOJ appointments but he should boot them to the curb as Trump has completely blown his appointments to the DOJ in both terms!!
That’s really interesting. Looks like a great way to avoid search warrants.
barf
Let RFK jr do it during a vacancy. He is Senate confirmed and could do it for 210 days, then extended through an official nomination process. Then they could decide if they want to confirm Trump’s new nominee or continue with RFK jr during a vacancy, for however long that would take.
MAGA
Two tiny, preening peacocks.
Or, as I prefer, Pit Chihuahuas.
His affection for anything alcohol makes it difficult. He’ll be gone before 2027.
Too late.
