I have less than zero sympathy or consideration of credibility for both individuals in the video below. Former Deputy Director Dan Bongino sits down for a dramatic, Q-feeding therapy session with Mr Tick-Tock himself, Sean Hannity.
In a widely discussed interview, the co-dependent enabler – masking himself as the victim of all things deep state, says on one hand there are honorable ‘rank and file’ within the FBI as an institution, and on the other hand he fears they will target him once President Trump leaves office. Go figure.
If you face reality and stop pretending, you then look at the facts with cold pragmatism: ♦The Robert Mueller investigation used 40 FBI agents, issued 2,800 subpoenas, executed 500 search warrants, obtained more than 230 secret orders for communication records, used 50 pen registers and interviewed 500 witnesses, all to prove there was a Trump-Russia conspiracy afoot. All of it was complete nonsense. That is the reality of the thing.
On day #1, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino should have terminated (or suspended pending criminal investigation) any and all of those FBI agents and support personnel with extreme prejudice and then held a press conference to make the announcement.
Delivering mysterious statements about the scale and scope of the institutional problem, pouring fuel on innuendo, proclaiming vague possibilities, while hiding behind some opaque ‘trust me bro‘ reasoning for a currently mysterious inability to explain exactly what the heck he is talking about, is unadulterated dramatic ‘clickbait’ prose intended to feed an audience willing to be deceived. Who is Dan Bongino and why should anyone now care?
He’s always looked ‘tightly wound’ to me; he’s always seemed (imo) to be edgy, as if he could snap. He seems to be a weird guy and looks it.
Ka$h looks weird too.
Thank you for providing this insight. It is thought provoking for many of us who have allowed politics to take over our emotional and spiritual lives.
As Sundance has stated – live your best life! Thank you Betsy Jones and all who post. Your humor, wisdom and insight are much appreciated!
Thank you Betsy, I need to be reminded of this, usually go back to the open thread to reread devotionals after my blood has boiled over.
I thank God for the joyful news , which thanks to Sundance, we are getting the truthful version.❤️🦅✝️🇺🇸
P.S. NICE ICE could hand this out to the protesters but we need to be checking ourselves too.😊
Thanks much for posting this very appropriate excerpt … especially, IMO, for the likes of Hannity.
Long ago, except for the occasional distraction, I had given up on Hannity. In his heart, I believe him to be a Patriot, and, if it ever materialized, most likely, I would vote for him.
The Reason, however, that I gave up on him? His entire schtick, it seemed, was to produce daily a virtual litany of complaints and problems, with hardly a wiff of solution proposals, let alone solutions that were in line with our founding American Principles.
In America, yes, we have a lot going on — a lot of very positive things — but we also have a lot of problems. But, the thing is, we KNOW that we have problems; where, I, for one of many, have given up on so many particular reporters [aka content creators, etc.] and some entire media outlets. It seems like these casts of characters grow their subscriber and merchandise bases by feeding this “red meat” style of complaining to a point where it is endless … ad nauseam, so to speak
We have way too many PROBLEM FINDERS — Hannity being among the “worst” of them — and not enough PROBLEM SOLVERS.
For many more of We The People to become more of good and solid PROBLEM SOLVERS, I suggest that we as a Nation become thoroughly familiar with our Fundamental American Principles — as presented directly in our National Charter Document … of almost 250 years ago — and that we apply these same founding principles to those we elect into public office and to the political actions they may recommend.
This means learning the true reason we even exist as a Nation — as prescribed by our Founders — and to use the same for our daily political lives.
If we get a good, solid majority of LEGAL Americans to follow this approach, I suspect that we can cut in half — and most likely much more — the number of serious problems that afflict us as a NATION.
Reading and Learning these American Principles would be the easy part. The not-so-easy part would be to get that good, solid majority of actually embrace and apply them. So, it is not going to be a quick and easy fix, but for those of us who want to get back to the way our Nation was intended and designed, originally, I do not believe we have any alternative.
Your comments are welcome.
In the meantime, thanks again for posting.
MAGA & MAHA!
Thomas Wolfe wrote, “You can’t go home again.”
On par with the opening line in LP Hartley”s wonderful “The Go Between”, which as ” The past is a foreign country”.
Both true.
And the older I get, the more I recognize how bittersweet they are.
It took over sixty years since the odious LBJ started to dismantle everything this country was founded upon to reduce us to the reprehensibly divided state we live in today. And we all know what Lincoln among others said about that.
I firmly believe we have arrived; and I believe equally that we are so divided that the chance of repair is not possible. I mean, how can those of us who treasure the Constitution and the principles of the Founding Fathers acquiesce in any way, no matter how seemingly small, to the demands of Democrats (and unfortunately some Republicans) who do not revere the legacy passed through generations.
Pot stirrers like the grotesque Hannity do their bit. You know the names of others.
It’s early and I haven’t had my first cup of coffee, so am unable to marshall the many further thoughts doing laps in my so far disordered brain which you have triggered by your thoughtful post…
When we restore Almighty God as the Cornerstone of our Republic, which bless him President Trump, builder, is in the process of attempting to do, perhaps He will help those of us find the strength to destroy the termites which have embedded themselves in our nation and who do what termites do.
We can’t go back.
But perhaps we can salvage the best of what we once were, then preserve the Republic, too precious to hand over to evil and its enablers. Reconstructed and reinforced by His grace and mercies.
Off for that restorative cup, dear sir…
Thank you for your reading and response to my OC.
Several others are in your response, but here’s the one that hit me the hardest: “It took over sixty years since the odious LBJ started to dismantle everything this country was founded upon to reduce us to the reprehensibly divided state we live in today. And we all know what Lincoln, among others, said about that.”
It is this DIVIDED STATE to which I am so dedicated a good bit of my personal efforts … to UNDIVIDE.
I have been working on a “new” American CIVICS instruction variant. Such a text — or some form of presentation — will focus on PROBLEM SOLVING, relying on our Foundational American Principles, this NATIONAL DIVIDE.
Toward that end, it is my thesis that if We The People, collectively, have a desire to “undivide” our Nation — that is, to RE-UNITE in heart and mind, in God’s good graces — a good, solid majority of us need to know and to embrace the fundamental principles, which from our very beginning, served to UNITE US AS A NATION and carry us this far.
To repeat from my previous note, I am of the belief that once a good solid majority of us come to understand these principles — NOT an easy task; as you mentioned correctly, it took us well over 60 years for us to get here to this decrepate condition — a good part of the battle — not all — will have been won.
There’s a lot of work left on completing this task, to a reasonable and acceptable point, so please wish me well.
Thank you again.
My goodness! What a project!
Each such individual effort is not in vain. And I think you are correct with what I see as the much spoken of “silent majority” who are watching the destruction and suffering from it. Who cannot escape from it, who are repelled by it, who keep their own counsel, and who refuse to give in to it.
This is, I pray, the grave and ultimately fatal error made by those who forces who seem to believe that the harder their totalitarian boot is pressed into our faces, the less resilient and more accepting we will become.
I do wish you more than well, Ivan..
With all my heart I wish you Godspeed and bless you in your patriotic problem solving endeavours. Just excellent. With admiration…B
Ouch!
Perfect!
A humongous disappointment.
He’s some guy who feels the defense of Israel is a cause very close to his heart. Please buy his book!
Why I’m not a conservative Israel Israel Israel chamber of commerce importing cheap not White. foreign labor complaining about paying workers a living wage complaining about people using welfare to supplement low wages.
Watched him a few times. Thought he was high on something illegal Always ranting screaming yelling. Like someone always looking for a fight
I’m a hero, no, I’m a tragic hero, please notice me…
Well, if the administration is truly monitoring this site, as Sundance stated in an earlier thread, then hopefully the message that Patel is as useless as Blondi, finally reaches him (Trump).
For over a decade people have told me to get on social media..
As I’ve always said –FBI has already got it all on me so why quit now.
there was a time between two summers, a field, and one tractor when I listened to Bongino. He was convincing. I learned something very important through this experience.
When doing work in the paddock, just put some music on.
God Bless America
You are funny. I like music better as well.
Wait! Are you saying my mother the prison guard, I know martial arts and Dan I talk tough and do/did nothing were drooling together at some point? Glad someone else suffered through it so I didn’t have to.
Silence can be golden as well. Maybe its because I am in my golden years.
I watched Bongino after the Butler attempt because BonJovi was an ex-SS agent. The whole time he would repeatedly say ‘he knew things’ but couldn’t tell the listeners what they were.
He is nothing but consistent. Same as Mike Allen and Julie Kelly and John Solomon. All pathological liars.
Yeah. Very gobsidt3nyly told us there are problems.
Then very consistently claimed they are all white hats snd refused to clean out the problems.
And now he is very consistently claiming those problems are out to get him.
Frankly, I hope they do. He deserves it.
But we don’t. Because of his malfeasance, they will still be out to get us. And Trump. Even after he leaves office.
He’s right up there with “I know but can’t say” Juan O’Savin and that whole bunch of click bait grifters.
Dan is a pathological liar? Please show your proof. I must be missing something.
If I worked for the Trump administration in a high profile position, I’d be very concerned. The UniParty will be out with knifes for all of the Trump Administration, trying to destroy them in every way possible. They want to get back to busine$$ as usual, when they weren’t under the spotlight or being held accountable.
The FBI is not described in, nor is it required by the Constitution.
Defund the FBI.
Neither is the DOJ. But the AG is.
No one is buying what he is selling
Resembles Trey Gowdy: All hat, no cattle.. Blowhard.
Let’s not allow arrogance to distract us from truth.
“No one” currently = 3.5M followers on Rumble. I wouldn’t dismiss that so blithely.
FWIW, at least Dan has been inside the beast and witnessed operations and information firsthand, “up close and personal.”
AFAIK, no one in this comments forum has been in an identical position and can credibly dispute all of his assertions with firsthand knowledge.
Bongino worked inside the federal government law enforcement Establishment for many years before building a social media presence so his “filtered” opinions and assertions should be understandable to any objective observer.
I inferred that Dan simply won’t knowingly betray any information he learned on the inside that could be of consequential strategic use to domestic and foreign enemies of the Trump Admin.
As far as he and Hannity are concerned, I watched that 2+ hour chat and concluded there was a certain amount of “New York Bro’ “ BS’ing going on concurrent with “Fox media Bro’ “ silent comms between the two men. Shouldn’t be surprising under the circumstances.
Thanks for one calm and reasoned post. I haven’t watched the whole thing yet, but I did note a preview where Bongino said there were two FBIs. Finding out who was there for crime fighting and who was there for politics wasn’t easy.
My personal view of Bongino and his experience is that, using a military analogy, he was a sergeant, not an officer.
Unless he’s lying, and I doubt he is (too easy to be disproven and discredited), Sean Hannity frequently speaks directly to President Trump. Including after the latest attempt on his life.
Regardless of his style, he has the President’s ear. And I’m sure he knows things he can’t say, or he would lose that access (and friendship) in a heartbeat.
How many of us have kept the secrets of a friend, and sounded “cryptic” to others while doing so? I know I have.
Very well put! Thank you!
YW! I’m just not as cynical as are some others here in the Treehouse, but it’s supposed to be a place where we can express opinions that may differ from the majority without being ostracized.
I do strive for as much objectivity as possible.
The challenge I find, however, is that “objectivity” is frequently rejected by people based on their subjective opinions…… 🤣 😎
Dan “Candace” Bongino:
Black helicopters are following me!
Macron’s wife is a deep state operative AND a man!!
I have PROOF who killed Charlie. Tune in tomorrow….!!!
You obviously don’t know Dan. I can’t believe those two names were put in the same sentence.
Any “MAGA” who would go to Sean Hannity for an interview may not be MAGA.
Except maybe for President Trump, there is no such thing as a Hannity Interview.
Nobody else is allowed to get a word in.
Why I quit watching him over 5 years ago; same blowhard, different day.
Stopped Fox in the late 90’s.
USSS had 2 floors in bldg 7 when it was “imploded”. Bongino was SS, so there is no way he didn’t know what was happening. They had to clear the floors so the demolitions could be placed.
There is no otherExplanation.
Bongino is the new Waldo. He’s been everywhere all of the time. I am sure he knows where Ken Lay of Enron’s body is “buried” too.
Maybe Bongino was just muscle that the real SS called in when necessary.
Godzilla Trump is really good at getting people to reveal their true selves. Another one of his superhuman abilities.
Employee gets results?
No.
Thank you for your service.
“I have a fourteen year old”
Your reference to Q
You mean like that post that asked
What would happen if if it came out that there were texts originating from an FBI agent discussed the assassination (possible) of POTUS or a member of his family? What if texts suggest foreign entities were involved?”
That one?
FWIW, this plus the La Eme indictments, are part of what he is referring to when he speaks of things he was working on now coming to fruition.

If we can get Maduro, we can extract these 10 as well, wherever they are.
If you are worried about a den of vipers, the best way to not get bitten is to eradicate the vipers.
Can’t view, SH and DB are 2 birds (dodo) of the same feather
Yep. I got about 10 seconds into the interview. Hannity is on downers, and Bongino is on some kind of speed drug. Supposedly, Bongino is the most listened to on Rumble – 1/2 million listeners?!
Not sure what he “saw” at the FBI other than perhaps how he could turn his “experience” into another way to make money.
Grifter or Carpetbagger, or maybe close to being a
traitor.I would like to think Bongo is better than Comey. But I don’t. When a President needed to count on someone, one played Brutus and the other played chicken 🐔 .
Bongino was and still is a disappointment – to say the least.
Either many men and women today are completely weak, spineless fish, or the power of the deep state to blackmail and deceive is broader than we think. So many wide eyed and bushy tailed republicans go to D.C. promising us the world… and then leave it looking like Bongino or Majorie Taylor Greene or giving handjobs to liberal men in movie threaters like Lauren Boebert.
The list goes on and on and on. What happens to them? Who or what does this to them?
Self-doubts must have caused him to want Hannitty’s back-patting or something. Sometimes when one has failed in a significant way, it’s better just to stop talking.
“WATCH:”
No thank you.
I am not letting either one of them into my “head space”.
Thank you, Sundance, for “taking one for the team” and listening for those of us that concur, so we can just read about it, if we choose.
Bongino is an effing COWARD
He should move away from this US of A
Bongino huge failure. He had an opportunity to do something great and he played by the book of safety and mediocrity.
The warriors are few and let us pray we have enough of them to save our Republic. I have lost respect for Bongino and ignore his comments these days.
Hannity and, to a lesser extent, Laura Ingraham are FOS and have been for years! People who listen to either and sheesh, Bongino have absolutely NO discernment!
😁
Good grief. Tulsi Gabbard is more of a man than this one.
If you don’t have the balls, stay the hell off the field.
DC is big league blood sport, not a podcast.
He did at least quit. He just won’t shut up and go away.
But before he quit he burned up an awful lot of valuable time doing not much of anything.
Sorry. CTH, you are staring to lose me with this.
Try not to hit any branches on the way down. Some of us oldsters are trying to sleep.
Why doesn’t Trump himself fire those fbi agents and personnel?
It seems that 5 shots were fired as Cole Allen ran down the hall. None of the shots were fired from his weapons. Therefore, a doofus SS DEI hire shot another SS DEI hire. Many claims that Cole Allen was not tackled by SS but tripped in the carpet.. If Allen didn’t fire the SS agent was wounded by another SS agent. Agents of absolutely no use at all.
I heard SS fired 8 shots. All missed. SS is still DEI central.
Just confirms what a simp Bongino is.
The guy LITERALLY was in a position to DO SOMETHING about the corruption he whines about —- but did little to nothing…and then QUIT after just a year like a gazelle running from a pride of lions 😎
Has he said even ONE interesting and meaningful thing since he quit about WHY he quit?
What a useful idiot…..
He needs to have Pam on his show for added credibility. /s
Dan Bongino “Gowdy’d” himself and should no longer be on anyone’s radar as a serious and fearless commentator on the doings of the swamp. He was breathing fire and brimstone before taking the FBI position, sounded like a whipped kitten once inside, and now seems to be engaged in a pathetic effort to regain street cred.
All I can to that is…
J
Hannity and Bongino. Two imbeciles.
You are clueless on Dan Bongino, Sean is a sellout, he cheated on his wife, and was scared of losing his job so he took the sissy way out, Bogino was making bank on his show and told them to stick it, he would not tone it down on the deep state.
I refuse to watch Bongino in any format.
He is now just a huckster promoting his show.
He had his chance to make a change in the system at the FBI.
I am not aware of any positive impact he has had, there.
Don’t care and don’t believe him.
All must go. 99% are bad.
End
Tulsi: The FBI are rat bastards.
Ka$h + BonJovi: The FBI are heroes.
He’s a complete wuss who couldn’t put his money where his mouth is. Same with Patel. In over their heads incompetence.
Frat boys meet World.
I dont blame him.
The FBI and CIA are evil and target people regardless of which govt is in power–GOP or DemScum
I would tell Bongino to kiss my ass but his lips are probably too busy and besides, when I say say “I’m done with you”, I mean it!
STFU DB. You had your chance, no results produced. Part of the problem.
My hope, and I know, it may be pure hopium, but…
It seems to me that our president has been very strategic in the order in which he is attacking problems. Sundance has pointed this out at times, even saying something like Bondi was just there to keep the deep state from deep-sixing him while he focused on other work.
I can imagine if he had pursued indictments of all of these criminals from the jump, the hue and cry from the press and the progressives would have been so loud and angry and both sides of the Uniparty would have been impeaching him and… well, there goes the agenda.
I want to imagine that, with midterms and statutes of limitation approaching, now is the time President Trump scheduled to take on the usurpers. Hoping that Tulsi and, yes, even Kash & Dan and all their good people, have put together enough evidence and strategy that they are ready. Look at the good move of going to the North Carolina beach where See-Shells Comey slipped up and charging him there instead of DC.
And this administration has made incredible progress on the President’s agenda so that he’ll have the tailwinds of all he’s accomplished going into the midterms. That may help insulate him against the backlash that’s going to happen as he takes on the establishment.
So although Sundance is seldom wrong and he probably isn’t here, I’m still wondering if perhaps the Kash and Dan show may actually not have been as feeble as they have appeared. Not holding my breath, but living my best life.
Thank you.
Before I just didn’t trust Bongino, now I detest him intensely.
I used to listen to him occasionally. I agree, wound too tight.
I no longer respect him. He took a job with the FBI to do something. What were his goals in that endeavor? He accomplished nothing. Why should I now listen to him?
Another schlep working for the almighty dollar.
I’m not saying i totally trust Bongino but 40 rogue agents out 10,000 agents in the FBI with a total staff of 38,000 leaves plenty of room for both honorable rank and file and corrupt agents.
Q was a psyop. FBI CIA or both. Many were a part of it, Bongino was one of them. You can go back in the way back machine and see who they all are. The psyop is still being played out, this is the ‘Trust me Bro’ we have this all under control.
Bongino was weak and incompetent. He did absolutely nothing in his former position of Deputy Director to muck out the Augean stable called the FBI. For that job a truly selfless, courageous and heroic figure is needed to take action, not him or Kash Patel.
Anything with Hannity is ignored by me. Sundance is right, a major housecleaning at both the FBI and DOJ should have been done immediately.
For all the negative Bongino comments here, I just see in my mind the picture Sundance often posts of the miles deep filthy, fetid DC swamp.
Can you imagine the instructions Hannity gave to his interior decorator (not a designer by a long shot!)? One look at his “man cave” made me think of Sodom and Gomorrah wishing I was blind as I turned away from such ugly, redundant, Cracker Barrel kitsch elements!
And yet, in many ways, a perfectly designed room for presenting a make believe environment many of the characters who showed up in the movie “Deliverance” would appreciate. We know what flows downstream!
I was a devoted Bongino listener from around his episode 628…. when he apparently reported on the Stefaniuk questioning of Comey with some information he didn’t properly disclose as having gotten from CTH (which he quickly rectified the next day)…. right up till his last day last winter.
No one knew the players of Spygate better than he did, and it was always good listening to hear him take the latest information and break it down and explain it (though I do wish he had gone into more detail about what exactly Kathryn Rummler did as Obama’s fixer. It isn’t good enough to just say ‘she is obama’s fixer’ without explaining what that means…… what is she fixing…. how is she fixing it……!!)
And it was good to have him around at the same time as Rush in order to fully appreciate the Talent On Loan From God as a pure broadcaster; NO ONE is in Rush’s league as a pure communicator.
And on one occasion I remember listening to Dan do a long in the weeds explanation of NATO and what Trump was doing….. and then when switching to Rush’s podcast, he covered the same ground in about 3 seconds as he was going into a commercial, that ‘NATO is losing its mind because Trump is threatening to stop paying.’
I thought that Dan was a suitable guy to take over Rush’s time slot (no one replaces Rush, which Dan acknowledged). I was initially excited about him moving into a Position of Power until…….. I started to worry about the exact thing that happened was going to happen — he was going to get in there and be thwarted in any efforts to put into place things he had talked about on his show, for example, lie detectors for every FBI agent, find out who did what….
He SHOULD HAVE said before he left that ‘I am giving this a year….see if or how badly I am blocked in my efforts’
So I kind of give him a pass from that point of view…… and I listen to him now as not quite as low as infotainment, but at the same level as reading a substack columnist (when I could….. suddenly last week I get a page telling me to sign in because of the Australian and UK laws about minors or whatever…. I’m in Canada, why can’t I get in ??!!). I read the content for information but not with the hope or expectation that the author will ever impact anything.
I think Dan will do fine and as time goes on he will regain any lost audience and credibility because, IMHO, he is a good guy. If he wasn’t, if he was a snake, he wouldn’t have looked like he did in that Epstein interview with Kash.
Bongino’s appearance in that interview seemed to indicate that he was cooked and knew it.
Bongino DID say, before he took the position that he was going to give it a year and see how it went.
I didn’t hear that, or I don’t recall hearing that. I stand corrected
Thanks for the second rational comment on this topic.
Paper tigers always stay away from the flames unless pushed.
