CIA Director John Ratcliffe gets a lot of flak for his general invisibility during the Trump administration. Historically, the entire CIA apparatus has held dual missions, one domestic (hidden) and one foreign (opaque).
There is no reasonable person who would hold confidence in the fidelity of the CIA regarding their influence agenda on domestic politics. However, it does seem clear that CIA Director Ratcliffe has been trying to eliminate the mechanisms within the CIA who have operated that influence campaign.
Shifting the assembly of the Presidential Daily Briefing to the ODNI, the real assembly – not the optics therein, is one facet. Taking the National Intelligence Council (ie. the Ciaramella, Gurganus, NIC) intelligence manipulation system out of the CIA and under the ODNI is another visible facet. Additionally, substantively moving CIA operations away from the State Dept., and refocusing the majority of operations back toward the Pentagon is another example.
In the briefing with President Trump on the Iran rescue operations, Director Ratcliffe notes the removal of politics from CIA operations is ongoing. WATCH:
Restructuring a covert institution is a daunting task, made particularly difficult given the cornerstones of the institution were founded as a domestic influence operation. It may well be said the objective is impossible; indeed, there is slight chance of success given the background we all know too well.
That said, at least on the visible face of what can be seen within an agency whose legislative mandate includes the demand that all activity remain hidden from public review, Ratcliffe does seem to be making an earnest effort to restrain the control mechanisms.

I am reading the book of Nehemiah and am praying for God to rise up leaders like Nehemiah.

I searched on that and AI told me that the story was first posted by the NY Slimes. Sundance has written many time that leaks to the Washington compost were from the FBI. Leaks to the NY Slimes were from the CIA.
That leak caused Iran to put a bounty on the head of the still-to-be-rescued serviceman. I looked up the word “treason” in the paper dictionary, and interestingly enough the meaning of treason also includes SEDITION. Both meanings include this “giving AID or comfort to the enemies of one’s government.”
So I guess this will be construed as the “right to free speech” by the NY Slimes. Good luck with that “defense” you MORON traitors.
In my opinion, pretty much all agencies have liars, cheats, back stabbers and those that would sell their souls for a buck. But, this is a big but too, when an agency respects and sees a leader(s) who has their backs and the backs of those who serve, it cleans the slate down a lot. Not only because that leaker or leakers feel any more loyal but that their coworkers might and the chance of getting caught grows.
This is true in every organization, not just Gov’t. Great leaders, which President Trump clearly is, set the standard for performance, create clear expectations around mission and clean out those that are not on the team without apology. In an organization that needs changed, anyone who answers a question with: “its just the way we have always done it” is shown the door immediately.

From what I’m hearing or, reading I should say, is that there was an attempt to capture the nuclear material from Isfahan. The C-130s landed on an agricultural airstrip atop the mountains and on the opposite side across the valley below, hiding, in the crevices was the WSO, who happens to be a Colonel based out of the MSAB in Jordan, hence the massive manhunt. From what I understand, the special forces were unable to capture the Uranium from Isfahan which was in close proximity to this operation.
